"Thing we're gonna do to get Killer Frost to appear, get that massive spike in your adrenaline production that we need, is, Ramon is gonna use his vibes to shake you up on the cellular level, and let's see if we can't get your old friend Killer Frost to come out to play." Harry Wells spoke as he attached devices to Caitlin.

We were stood in the Speed Lab that day, trying to get Killer Frost to show.

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" I ask him, my arms crossed as I was nuzzled into Barry's side, Barry's arm around me.

"Well, I mean, like any hypothesis, you have to test itto get an answer." Harry says, "It's what we've all done since the fourth grade, known as the-" Harry pauses.

"Scientific method?" Barry finishes for him, due to his sudden pause.

"Right you are, Allen!" Harry points at him, "Of course."

"Ah, here he is." Harry points at Cisco when he walks in, stepping up the stairs, going to his monitor, "Okay, good. So get in position."

"Don't worry, I lowered the amps on this thing." Cisco told Caitlin, before standing a few feet away from her, facing her.

"Ramon, you set?" Barry asks.

"Yeah." Cisco nods, positioning himself.

Harry looks at Caitlin, "Snow, you ready?"

"I'm ready." Caitlin nods.

"Three, two, one, and-" Harry counts down.

Cisco blasts Caitlin with his energy from the vibe blast, it being at low power, nothing happening, causing Harry to speak up, "All right. Ramon, more power."

Cisco nods, as Harry counts down once more, "Set? Three, two, one-"

Cisco tries again, but stronger, the same reaction occurring, causing Harry to exhale, "All right, this isn't working. You know what, Ramon? Full power."

My head snaps towards Harry, my eyes wide, my arms crossed, my eyebrows furrowed as I stared at him in disbelief, pulling away from Barry, "Like hell he will."

"Wait, hold on, hold on." Barry turns towards Harry, "What do you mean, full power? We don't want to blast Caitlin across the speed lab."

"Well, you need to get a spike in her adrenaline." Harry reason's.

"Harry, she could get hurt." I shot back at him, gesturing towards Caitlin, Barry nodding in agreement.

"God, this is-" Harry walks over to Caitlin, "Look, this is gonna work, okay? Nothing has changed. All right? Snow's DNA tests, they confirm it. Her meta-DNA was not spliced by Noah's powers."

"You mean Melting Point's powers." Caitlin corrects him.

"Right, that's what I said." Harry nods, "Melting Point's powers."

Barry crosses his arms, shaking his head, "No, you didn't."

"I did say that." Harry stares at us.

I run a hand through my hair, "Harry, there's no dark matter in her system anyway. We're just trying to spike her heart rate. That's all."

"What do you mean, there's no dark matter?" Barry stares at me.

"Harry, you knew that." I keep eye contact with him, "We all did."

"We did?" He questions.

"We did." Barry nods.

"No, I know. I just, I think I just, you know, forget." Harry stammers, "I forgot."

"You forgot?" Barry repeats.

"Harry Wells never forgets." I stare at him, "Is there something going on that we don't know about?"

"Harry, are you okay?" Caitlin asks.

Cisco sighs, "No. He's not."

After Cisco admitting this to us, we were lead into the cortex, where Harry had begun explaining what was wrong with him.

"Harry, you're-" Caitlin quietly trails off.

"Losing my intelligence? Yes." Harry turns and faces us, "The injection of dark matter from the Thinking Cap apparently overwhelmed my synapses. Instead of making my brain faster, it's slowing it down."

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?" Barry questions, looking at him.

"How long until-" I began to ask.

"No way of knowing." Harry shook his head, looking down, "I mean, there are days I can think clearly and other days I- I can't."

"The good news is, um, from what I can see, the regression seems to be reversible." Cisco spoke up.

"Okay, great." Caitlin nods, "I'll start working on it full-time."

"No, you won't." Harry stops her, "I did this to myself, and I-I thought "Oh, you know what? "Use that Thinking Cap, and then I can outthink Devoe and then stop Devoe." I was wrong. Allen was right- I should've listened to her- but I didn't. I didn't. And now here we are."

"Okay, well, we're gonna fix this." Barry assures him.

"You and I both know there's a ticking clock and I can't help anyone like this." Harry stares at him.

"Yes, you can." Barry tries.

"How?" Harry asks, referring to how his knowledge was the only way he can help our team.

Barry sighs, not knowing what to say, clearing his throat, coming up with something, "Look, guys. Ralph, Caitlin's powers, now this. Devoe knew how to break us apart, but I mean, we're all still here. We're a family. That's how we're gonna beat Devoe."

"All right, Allen." Harry nods, shooting him a weak genuine smile, "All right."

I shot them all a look, my gaze stopping at Harry, my fists curled up at my sides, before turning, walking right out the cortex.

"Hey, babe, wait up-" I heard Barry's distant voice behind me, a frustrated sigh leaving my lips as I kept walking, slowly down just the slightest bit so he could catch up, "What's up?"

"Nothing-" I shook my head, continuing to walk down the hall, him at my side.

"I know you better than that." Barry grabs my arm, stopping me, turning me so I faced him, as I avoided eye contact, his stare burning into me, "Is this because of Harry?"

I go silent, keeping my stare away from him.

"Zee?" Barry calls out my name, awaiting an answer.

"No one listens to me." I looked up at him, slight anger threaded in my tone, "I'm supposed to be Team Leader. You and I- leading this team- I'm supposed to be guiding you guys away from this- I should be keeping you away from things like this. And now Harry's losing all of his intelligence because I didn't stop him from using that damn Thinking Cap-"

"Zee-" Barry trails off, his eyes burning into mine, concern flashing behind his eyes, placing a hand on my shoulder, "This isn't your fault."

"Yes- yes it is." I exhale sharply, breaking eye contact, "If I would've just- stopped him when I had the chance- if I would've just- made sure he never even got to try the stupid thing- he wouldn't be losing all his knowledge-"

"Look at me." Barry grabs my face, his voice soft, "This is not your fault."

I sigh, looking up at him, knowing he wouldn't let me put the blame on myself any longer, even if he's done it multiple times.

"What Harry did-" Barry began, "It was his choice. He wanted to help- it was what he thought was best to increase his contribution to the team. Devoe wanted this- he wanted to separate us- but we're gonna fix Harry. And we're gonna beat Devoe, okay? You can't blame yourself for this."

I lightly nod, looking down, "Okay."

"How about this-" Barry went on, "Let's go home."

"I have to go to work-" I began, confusion falling over me.

"Call in to Singh-" Barry pulls me close, a small smile on his lips, "Say you'll be a few hours late."

"A few hours?" I repeat, "You do realize I get paid for going there and being an unbelievably great detective?"

"Well this unbelievably great detective-" Barry eyes me, "Should take a few hours off and come home with her husband."

I shot him a look, "Fine. A few hours only."

Barry smiles, pecking my lips, slipping my phone out of my back pocket, pulling away but barley, the smile remaining on his lips, his eyes opening slightly as he hands me my phone, to call in.

-

"Dude-" I toss a pillow at Barry, "You ate all the fries!"

"They're just too good, my bad-" Barry puts his hands up in surrender, tossing the pillow right back at me.

"You better whoosh and get more before I-" I began to say, tossing the pillow right at him, my sentence halting when he runs off, and runs back in, holding two more bags from Big Belly Burger, placing them in front of me on the counter, catching the pillow.

I wink at him, eating a fry, before walking over to him, placing my hands on his chest.

He drops the pillow, grabbing my hands, placing one hand on my waist, starting to slow dance with me in the middle of our living room.

"No music?" I question.

He shook his head, spinning me, "No music."

"Just dancing?" I question.

He nods, continuing to slow dance with me, "Just dancing."

"Question-" I began, looking up at him.

"Shoot." He looks at me.

"Where were these moves in the bedroom?" I ask him jokingly, holding back a laugh.

"Uh-" Barry began to answer, his eyebrows furrowing when he fully processed what I asked, letting go of me instantly, shooting me a look, his voice ranging high, "Girl-"

I burst out in a small fit of laughter, my hand covering my mouth, as he shook his head at me playfully, smiling at me.

I wink at him, walking over to my phone, connecting it to my Bluetooth speaker, blasting some music.

"Poker Face?" Barry questions, "Really?"

"It holds memories." I grab his collar, pulling him into me.

"It does-" Barry laughs lightly, holding my waist.

And from then, we danced for a while. To Poker Face, to many other songs, resulting in us being absolutely exhausted. We had come to grips that I should just take the day off from work, which is exactly what I did due to Barry not letting me leave.

Now, we were seated on the couch, snuggled in blankets, a movie playing on the television, a few beers on the table.

"I'm so cold-" I lean my head back into Barry's shoulder.

"You can use me as a blanket." Barry pulls me into him more.

I shot him a look, "Well- I already have one."

"I'm better." Barry kisses my cheek.

My eyes land on the screen that had the movie lit on it, the corners of my mouth turning up at the scene. A mother and father were speaking to their daughter, showing their best interest, and listening to every word the girl had to say about her day at school.

"I can't wait til we have kids-" I blurt out accidentally, my eyes glued to the screen, my eyes widening when I fully process what I had said, my head snapping towards Barry, his eyes slightly wide as he gaped at me.

"You wanna have kids with me?" Barry asks, readjusting his position, his gaze now glued to me, "You didn't even say- just kid- you said- kids. As in more than one- you want to have kids with me-"

"Did I say that too soon?" I question, sitting up quickly, "I mean- man- with everything we're dealing with right now- being pregnant wouldn't be the best thing-"

"Are you pregnant?" Barry blurts out, his eyes wide, slight excitement behind them.

"What?" I stare at him in shock, "No-"

The look on Barry's face results in me getting flustered and blurt out more things, "Not that- getting pregnant now would be the worst thing-"

"You wanna have a baby now?" Barry's eyebrows furrow as he looked at me with all seriousness, now facing me in his seat, his arm still loosely around me.

"Do you wanna have a baby now?" I stare at him with wide eyes, my words rushed, "Wait- why would we have a baby now- we're trying to take down a super villain-"

"You don't wanna have a baby?" Barry asks me, increasing the nervousness and embarrassment I was experiencing.

"No- no-" I began, "I mean- yes! I do wanna have a baby- it's just-"

"Right now?" Barry places a hand on my shoulder, "You wanna have a baby right now?"

"No, of course not-" I blurt out, "I mean- I love babies. They're adorable- they're cute- who doesn't love babies? Our baby would be- absolutely adorable. I mean- come on- we're Barry and Zee- our kid would-"

"Zee-" Barry rubs my arm, "Take a breath."

I deeply inhale, "Being pregnant right now wouldn't be the worst thing."

"So you wanna have a baby now?" Barry keeps his stare on me.

"Getting pregnant right now isn't the best thing either." I press my palms together, "Of course, I want to have kids with you one day. But in- time."

"Of course, yeah." Barry nods, my phone buzzing right on cue, saving me from the extra aftermath embarrassment.

"I have to take this-" I grab my phone, getting up, kissing his cheek, setting into the kitchen, answering my phone, "Hey, Iris."

"Hey-" Her voice fills the line, "Could you come over later?"

"I could stop by-" I trail off, "Why?"

"I need to run something by you-" She tells me, letting confusion fall over me.

"Okay? Yeah. I'll come by soon." I told her, hanging up, not even bothering to ask why because I would find out later.

I walk back over to Barry, placing my phone on the coffee table, Barry questioning, "Who was that?"

"It was just Iris." I told him, looking down at him as he remained seated on the couch, "It was nothing- she didn't steal me away from you for too long. I was gone for like- two minutes."

"Well," Barry grabs my hands, pulling me into him and into his lips to where I was straddling him, "Now, I have you all to myself again."

"Oh yeah?" I laugh quietly, as he smiles, pressing his lips into mine, the next leading events leaving a mess of clothes on the floor.

-

"Why am I here?" I ask Iris, my hands resting on my hips, as I stood in her room at the West Household.

I was dressed in a pair of ripped jeans that I threw on, ones that I randomly found on the floor and Barry's crewneck he was wearing just earlier, my feet covered in black heeled ankle boots, my hair tamed and straight even after what had happened not even twenty minutes ago.

"Why do you smell like a mixture of Barry and sex?" Iris questions, looking through her closet, her hands grabbing two hangers, two dresses hanging from each.

"Do you really have to ask?" I shot her a look, watching as she turns and faces me.

"You're right." She points at me, "Was it crazy hot sex?"

"Oh my god- Iris-" I mentally facepalm myself, blinking long and hard, trying to hold back a laugh, "Why am I staring at two dresses?"

"Because- I have a date tomorrow night." Iris admits, smiling at me, "And I need helping choosing a dress."

"A date?" I repeat, "Iris West is going on a date? With who?"

"Remember my old boss?" She asks, "At CCPN?"

"Him?" I stare at her with wide eyes, "Oh, god-"

She rolls her eyes playfully, "Just help me choose a dress."

"The black one." I point, but the both of us are cut off in our conversation when both of phones start to buzz rapidly, the Star Labs distress signal going off, and alerting us both, my head snapping up, "We got to go-"

Iris nods, tossing the dresses on her bed, as we left as quickly as we could, making our way to Star Labs in a rush.

The sound of Barry's loud, threatening shout comes from the cortex when Iris and I were making our way down the hall, "If you touch Zee-"

Iris and I jog into the cortex, the first thing meeting our eyes being Barry, Cisco, Harry and Caitlin, meta cuffs on their wrists even if Caitlin and Harry weren't even metas, their legs tied up with ropes, them seated on the ground.

"Oh my- god-" I stammer, my heels clicking as I move closer to them to free them, only to be stopped when I am grabbed forcefully, my back pressed up against someone's chest, my head leaning back against their shoulder, a sharp blade pressed against my neck.

"Remember me, princess?" Peter Youree's voice fills my ears, as I took in his scent.

"I swear to god- if you hurt her-" Barry began to threat, but Peter had cut him off.

"You're gonna do what?" Peter snaps at him, my eyes trailing, seeing that he had tied Iris up also in a matter of seconds.

I elbow him, his grip loosening as I slip out of his hold, kicking him back, his body making a thud once he hits the ground, my eyes shining as I decided to pull out my powers, "You really do have the worst timing, don't you?"

"You never learn from our past encounters, Zee-" Peter smirks, as he got up in a swift movement, slapping meta cuffs onto my wrists.

I exhale, my eyes wide as I stared at the cuffs, my eyes turning back to normal. I go to make a move, but he's too quick for me, when he picks me up, tying my ankles together and setting me on a desk to watch him do whatever he wanted.

"Peter-" I began, trying to someone break the rope around my ankles to free myself, but it was no use.

"You know-" He cuts me off, "I was gonna go for just Barry first. But- then I saw your little friends and- I thought- why not have some more fun?"

"You're doing all of this-" I stared at him, "Because I chose Barry over you? Peter- you need to get over what happened."

"Because-" He presses the blade to my chest, "You used me."

"I used you?" I repeat in disbelief, "I'm not even going to have this conversation with you right now-"

"You used me!" He shouts right in my face, "You used me to get over him. But it didn't work. Even when you were with me- you acted like he was the only man in the universe."

Tears welled in my eyes, as I stared at him dead in the eye, "He's not the only man in the universe, but he's the only one that matters to me."

"I figured that out when I found out you were kissing up to him in his CSI Lab." Peter spat at me, turning, walking over to Iris, his cold blade pressing against her as she kept a straight face, but I could see the fear in her eyes.

"Peter-" I plead, "Please don't-"

"Well, now I figured-" Peter thought out loud, "Why kill you when you can watch me kill all your loved ones instead?"

"Peter-" I began to raise my voice, a small whimper leaving my lips when he pierced the blade right through her, her eyes instantly squeezing shut, my voice coming out weak, "Peter- you're hurting her-"

He retracts the blade, Iris' blood smeared on the sliver surface, the stab in her shoulder now oozing with blood, "She doesn't have long until she bleeds out."

-

Tears slipped onto my cheeks, as Iris shot me a reassuring look, after a few hours being here still, "I'm okay-"

"Since, you're not enjoying front seat-" Peter grabs me by my hair, pulling me over to him, directly in front of the others as Harry whispered to Cisco, trying to figure out a plan, "Let's put you up close."

Peter raises his knife, swinging it back, ready to stab it right through it, but I block it with my meta cuffs, catching him off guard, my hands grabbing onto the knife, using all the force in my body to shove him to the side and using the knife to rip the ropes on my ankles, doing the same for Caitlin, handing her the knife.

Peter was up, and heading right towards me, Caitlin quickly freeing them all, the meta cuffs being the only thing stopping us from defeating Peter.

Peter tackles me to the ground, as I shove him off, slicking the key out of his pocket, undoing my meta cuffs, tossing the key to Barry, Peter pulling out a spare weapon, pressing it against my neck, the blade right to slice right through me.

"Congratulations, on this stunt you just pulled." Peter seethed through his teeth, "Now, you're going to witness every one of your-"
