Also Gil-Galand in this story is the son of Fingon (and not the son of Orodreth) and Orodreth is the brother of Galadriel,his daughter is Finduilas.
There are many versions from Tolkien who is the real father of Gil-Galand but i think this one is the easiest to lean their names(and this i read on Silmarillion i have idk it doesn't say the other versions)
