That little glint of light

The minutest spark

That chirps and barks

I hold it in my hand

The most precious in all the land

I am going to feather its desire

Until it is a roaring fire

This thing so amazing

I will make sure it continues blazing

Blasting through the night

Every shade of yellow light

Making shadows dance

They flit and prance

Specters hovering in the badlands

I can no longer hold this fire in my hands

It is a raging inferno

And it will forever go where I go

With its miraculous glow.
