I put my pen to paper

The words begin to flow

I'm not sure where I'm going

But there is a story to be told

Is it one of desperation

Trials fraught with danger

A journey to new places

Getting lost with strangers

Is it a tale of love

Love that has been lost

Love that has been found

Is it love starting to defrost

Or is love thats always been around

Maybe I'll write about a fish

That battles all its life

It finally gets its wish

To be a magnificent dish

Or how about the breeze

With its cool and blustery antics

The way it whips and plays

So energetic and frantic

I guess what I'm trying to say

There is a story behind every day

Putting pen to paper

Will be the only way

To get these words arrayed.
