dear journal,

merry christmas eve! it's been snowing so much that everything is covered in white. i hate the snow. yeonjun loves it. every time it snows he acts like it's the first time he's ever seen it. sometimes, only for a few seconds usually, i get to watch him watch the snow fall. it reminds me of a little kid. i'll admit it—i think it's kinda cute.

anyway, even though i was against it, yeonjun couldn't wait till tomorrow to give me my gift. he bought me a notepad. the one i'm writing in right now. he said he noticed that i journal quite a lot so he bought it for me. it's bigger than my last one, and has much higher quality paper. best of all, embossed on the front are the words: love, yeonjun.

i wish i had known sooner. i bought him a pair of socks with cats on them.

knowing him, he'll love them all the same.
