Cassidy p.o.v.

It's been two weeks since I seen Ayden. Nico hasn't been at school for the past two weeks also. I feel so bad, I haven't slept well for the past two weeks.

"hey" I said to Arianna.

"hi, and guess what" she said excitedly.

"what?" I said.

"well my parents and tia's are gone on a business trip this weekend" she said with a pause.

"me and my cousins are gonna throw a party" she said excitedly again.

"so...." I said looking confused.

"were going" she said demandly and I shook my head saying no.

"rather you like it or not, your going and I'm in charge of everything" she said.

"okay" I said bored.

"were going shopping on Saturday don't forget" she said, I frowned.

"I want to wear joggers and a shirt" I said while pouting.

"I'm in charge of everything" she said walking away, I followed.

On Friday it was good day, I passed all my pre-assessments and no Jocelyn. I was in the shelter tucking all the kids to sleep. I threw myself on my bed and fell asleep like a baby.

"ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" I heard when I woke up I look to my little brother and he was crying while yelling holding his chest. I pick him up right away and ran outside with my bare feet. I dialed Arianna number and she picked up.

"Ari come pick me up, my brother he's...he's hurting" I said really quick.

"okay um Ayden gonna pick you up" she said.

"hurry" I said and hang up right away. I don't care who's coming to pick me up. I sat on the ground cradling my brother in my arms. I heard a car zoom by me so I went in the back seat still cradling him.

"stay with me" I said to Elijah while tears went down my face. We got to the ICU in less than 5 minutes.

Ayden open the back door and grabbed Elijah right away running to the doors. I ran after him.

"we need a nurse" I said yelling and they brought a hospital bed with 3 nurses. He placed Elijah quickly on the bed and they rush him into a room. When I was gonna enter a nurse stopped me.

"I need you to just stay here" she said and I nodded not trying to waste time. I went to a chair outside his door and put my face in my hands forgetting that Ayden was here.

"I'm sorry Cassy" he said and I looked at him cause now was not the time.

"I... love you" he said.

"Ayden I don't wanna talk about this" I said.

"I can't ignore it, Cassie I know that you do to" he said.

"Ayden please stop" I said looking at him. Then our moment finish when these other nurses rushed to his room so I freaked.

"what's going on" I said through sobs.

"tell me what's happening" I said.

"his lungs are filling up with liquid really quick" the nurse said before closing the door. I felt like my heart stop and my whole world came crashing down. I curled up in a ball on the floor and cryed my life out.

Ayden put his arms around me, picking me up and brush his fingers through my hair.

"its gonna be okay" he whispered. I wish it was.
