《Invisible | Tsukishima Kei x Reader》Chapter 11

"Everyone. This is Yachi Hitoka. She is considering becoming a co-manager along with my sister once I'm gone." From behind your sister is a short first-year. She has shoulder-length hair, the same color as Tsukishima. Her light brown eyes, shaken with fear. After all, she is surrounded by a bunch of sweaty boys. Your eyes turn to Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. You notice a light blush on Yamaguchi's cheeks and gasp. You laugh to yourself and turn to Yachi.
"Nice to meet you Yachi-chan! My name is Shimizu (Name)! You can call me (Name)... You must be scared but its okay." You hold the petite girl's hands in yours. "You can always turn to me whenever okay? Don't let Tanaka and Noya frighten you because Mama Suga will protect us."
"O-Oh?"
"I-I'm sorry.." You say stepping back, letting go of her hands. "That was all too sudden, I apologize. I'm Kiyoko's sister and I hope we can be friends."
"Oh of course!" Her face lights up. "I could use a first year friend. Your sister kind of intimidates me— b-but in a good way?"
You laugh and lean in and whisper in your new friend's ear. "I could use a friend who isn't a boy and plays volleyball."
You both laugh as Tsukishima overhears. "Who said that you have any friends?" He says smirking.
"EEP!" Yachi hides behind you, frightened by the middle blocker.
"Cmon beanstalk you're scaring the poor girl." You put your hands on your hips.
"Please. If anyone is scaring her it's you."
You gasp as your anger rises. "Oh please. Who wouldn't be intimidated by a salty Dino dork like you?" You give him a very fake smile as Yachi backs up.
"K-Kiyoko-senpai? What is going on?" Yachi says worrying you and Tsukishima are going to kill eachother.
"Oh this is normal don't worry."
"N-Normal?"
"Shut up you dickhead! I have you know I will do amazing on my final exam. I bet I can beat your scores!" You say proudly as your anger is boiling. "If I win then you have to... dress in a female uniform for a week."

"Okay. And if you lose?...." Tsukishima says slyly.
"Since I don't trust you..." You look around until your eyes are put on Mama Suga, "Suga can choose what both of us have to do."
"Oh?... Then deal." You two shake hands automatically.
'Jokes on him! I know I'm better than him in English and History! I wonder what he looks like in a skirt....'
"May the smartest person win." You say sneering.
"Then we already know who won." Tsukishima mouth forms into his usual smirk.
You both storm away from eachother, clearly irritated. Yamaguchi whispers something into Tsukishima's ear franticly. "Now is not the time to Yamaguchi."
"Hmph." You walk over to Kiyoko and Yachi who seems like she is breaking down.
"(Name)-chan are you okay?"
"I'm sorry you had to see that Yachi-chan.... but I will win!" You say with utter confidence
"A-Are you sure? Tsukishima-san seems to be really smart-- n-not saying you aren't smart but--" Yachi stumbles on her words.
"Yeah he is pretty smart," You admit. 'Really smart' "But if I study hard enough I know I can win!!"
"I believe in you!"
You and Yachi get fired up together as Kiyoko intervenes. "Are you sure you want Sugawara-san to choose the punishment?"
"Of course! He's an angel sent from above. I trust him"
"Whatever you say.... Don't say I didn't warn you" Your sister turns away to attend her job, leaving you puzzled. What did she mean? Suga is so kindhearted!
You really don't know Suga.
--
"(Name)-chan! Are you ready for finals?" Yamaguchi asks while you sit down smiling to yourself. Today is the day you will beat Tsukishima and have him wear a skirt all week. You spent the past weekend studying with Yachi, Hinata and Kageyama, preparing to take down the tall middle blocker.
"Yes! I will beat the stupid Dino dork!!" You close your fists, assuring your victory over the blondie.

"What about you Tsukki? Did you study?"
"Of course I studied." he says coldly as he puts his headphones on.
"Snappy." You say resting your chin on your hand.
"He gets like this during exams. Best not to bother him." Yamaguchi takes his seat.
"Right..." You focus your attention to the final proctor entering the room.
"Now. Everyone take your pencils and erasers out and clear anything else off your desk." The class does as he says.
You glance at Tsukishima, who to your surprise was also looking at you. His head quickly turns to the front of the classroom as if nothing happened. You look a bit confused but shake of the feeling knowing that you WILL beat Tsukishima Kei.
You laugh to yourself quietly as you imagine Tsukishima walking around the school in a skirt. How embarrassing for him! I'll be able to poke fun at him ALL week!
"and.... BEGIN"

"WHAT!?" You scream.
"Well, well, look at what we have here. I got all As" Tsukishima sneers laying all his exams on the desk.
"ITS BECAUSE OF MATH!!! I GOT A 89.5!!!" You look at Tsukishima who scored a 90 on the same paper. He smirks as you charge at him. Tsukishima laughs as you attempt to chase him around.
"Well. So what will her punishment be Suga?" Yamaguchi says trying to calm you down.
"Well. I discussed it with Daichi and we both agreed on what (Name)-san and Tsukishima-san's punishment will be."
"Wait me too?"
"Yes you too." Daichi says coming up from behind Tsukishima.
"Your punishment will be.... to go out on a date." Suga says while beaming his angelic smile. But right now he is no angel to you, more like a demon.
"A-A WHAT!?" You gasp.
"Hell no." The middle blocker says straight out.
"Suga and I both agree that you two need to get along better." Daichi crosses his arms.
"And a date will help that how?" Tsukishima's face is full of disgust.
"To let you guys talk and get to know each other better. You both are always causing a commotion because of your fighting. Talking it out will help your problems be solved."
"N-No way. I could never go on a date with that- thing." You stammer turning away in anger.
"You WILL both do it. If you do not you have to clean all the bathrooms in the entire school along with cleaning the gym together. Meaning you both will not go to the away games in Tokyo. If you go on a date you will be able to go on Saturday. Your choice." Suga says smiling, but with a hint of coldness, sending a chill down Tsukishima's and your spine.
"Suga-senpai how could you??" You cry falling on your knees in defeat.
"Fine." Tsukishima says adjusting his glasses.
"W-What?" You look up at the tall beanstalk. His cheeks flushed with a light pink.
"I-I'll go on the date." Tsukishima's words turn you pale. I have to agree don't I? But a date? With HIM?.....
"I-I guess I have no choice...." You swallow your pride.
"Great! We have an itinerary set up for the date." Daichi hands out sheets of paper.
"You planned it?"
"Sure we did. Now you better follow the schedule. We will be watching." Suga pats Tsukishima and you on the back and then walks away leaving you both stunned.
You and Tsukishima turn to each other, very pale.
This Saturday, you are going on a date with the man you despise.

A Virtual Invasion
An invasion from another dimension is shut down by an Empire's traitor and the world has a scant few decades to build the strength to resist a multidimensional Empire. How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
