"you're coming to nationals right?" atsumu asked and laid down on your bed, his arm covering his eyes.
"yup." you were changing into something more comfortable and made atsumu cover his eyes for privacy.
"good."
"don't worry, if you fuck up i'll be the first to yell at you." you pulled his arm back from his face and snuggled against his side, his arm now around you.
"that's comforting to know." he pulled you closer to him so you were halfway on top of his body. "hey."
"mhm?"
"wanna break rule three?" he asked with a grin.
"grandma in the house."
"so, she wanted us together on day one." atsumu rolled over and was now on top of you. "she won't mind."
"nope." your hands travelled to the end up atsumu's shirt and fiddled with the fabric.
"you're being your own cockblock." he pouted and lowering his mouth onto yours.
"well sorry for not wanting to fuck you with my grandma downstairs." you said and dodged his kiss.
"don't dodge it." atsumu leaned down again, but you turned your head causing his lips to land on your cheek.
"no." he tried again, but you rolled over and hid your face in your pillow. atsumu grabbed flipped you around and pinned your hands above your head.
"kiss me." he demanded.
"no thanks. i'm gonna go to sleep." you tried to kick the blanket up your body since your hands were held above your head.
kicking the blanket without looking at it was a very bad idea. a bad idea, but with a good idea.
"oh fuck." atsumu groaned and rolled off you.
you kicked his dick.
"looks like we're not breaking number three." you said and laid on your side, moving closer to him.

he was laying facedown while covering his crotch. "did i break it?" you asked and pushed his slight so he was laying on his back.
"no you didn't break it." atsumu closed his eyes and felt you climbing on top of him.
"okay. we gotta break three one day. cant leave the list uncompleted." you pressed small kisses all over his forehead, neck, cheek, jaw, avoiding the lips.
"don't say that shit now." atsumu kept his eyes closed, enjoying the feeling of your lips against his face.
"so how is it?"
"painful."
"still?"
"i would love to see you in this exact spot when your period comes around." he said and rested his hands on your lower back.
you gasped. "now that's just cruel. maybe i'll kick you again so we can share the pain."
"that's one interesting date." atsumu opened his eyes and looked up at you.
"yup, us on the bed while groaning in pain." you said. "how fun."
"and then we can watch movies and cuddle." atsumu offered.
"or i'll kick you off the bed and take it for myself." you ran your hand through atsumu's hair.
"that does sound more like you."
"exactly."
"so no cuddles?" he asked.
you grabbed his teddy bear that he bought the other day and shoved it into his face. "you can cuddle this."
"i don't want to cuddle the teddy bear." atsumu moved it off his face.
"yeah because you already cuddled with it for 17 years now." you nodded in understandment.
"cause i wanna cuddle with you, you little shit." he said and threw the teddy bear off the bed.
"i can't cuddle with someone who just threw a teddy bear off the bed." you said and atsumu sighed.

"you're so stubborn."
"yeah and you love me for that."
"whatever you say." he wrapped your arms and legs around and pulled you down against his chest.
"you should dye your hair again." you said.
"it's already dyed though."
"something that isn't piss color."
"suggestions?"
"hot pink, neon green, bright orange, highlighter yellow." you listed off.
"no."
"blood red, grey, silver, oh wait that's osamu's." you paused. "lilac, lime, poopy brown."
"such beautiful suggestions." he complimented. "i think i'll stick with my current hair color."
"boring. you're no fun. you could have them match your glasses." you said and referred back at his highlighter yellow glasses.
"i don't want to walk around looking like a highlight thanks."
"you would just need a matching outfit and shoes. oh and socks." you pulled your blanket over both your bodies and rested your head in the crook of his neck.
"ah yes, miya atsumu the walking highlighter."
"and a matching cap."
"might just slap neon bracelets on my wrist." he said and glanced down at you.
"are you staying?" you asked.
"can't." atsumu frowned. "bus leaves tomorrow morning. i'll see you at the games though."
"yeah." you didn't admit it, but you didn't want him leave. it was comfortable right now.
you moved closer to him without realizing it causing atsumu to let out a small laugh. "what?"
"you're clingy." he stated with a stupid grin on his face.
"i am not."
"you are."
"you're the clingy one." you accused back at him.
"no you are."
"no you."
"then why did you just cuddle closer to me?"
"what the fuck does cuddle closer to me even mean?" you asked and lifted your head.
"exactly what it sounds like."
"you can go now." you got off him and kicked him off the bed.
"first you kick me in the most painful spot and now you're kicking me out?" he asked and stood up before he could fall off the bed.
"yes."
"all because i said you were clingy?"
"no. i've seen enough of your face for today."
"how could you ever get enough of this?" atsumu gestured towards his face. "c'mere."
he pulled you to the edge of the bed and tilted your head up. he ducked down and kissed you. except you didn't kiss him back.
"stop being so stubborn and kiss me back." he lightly bit your bottom lip.
"i'm not being stubborn."
"you won't see me until nationals starts." he reminded you and you slowly started to kiss him back. "there it is."
atsumu had one hand on your chin, tilting it up while you had both of yours on his hips to pull him closer.
"what time does your bus leave?" you asked.
"early. why? do you want to see me before we leave?" he had a cheerful tone in his voice.
"depends on the time."
"six in the morning."
"nope, good luck and have fun."
"yeah okay, i'll see you in two days." he said and gave you one last kiss.
"i won't miss you!" you called out before atsumu could leave.
"lies! i'll miss you too sunshine!"
"it's only two days, you'll live."
"no, when you come to tokyo they'll be rolling me off to the hospital because i missed my girlfriend too much."
"how romantic."

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)
