When Jaden walked in the classroom, he glanced at me, but it wasn't anything special. It was almost as if he hadn't met me before. Maybe that's a good thing.

Once everyone was in the room, Mr. Goetz spoke. "Alright everyone, I'm going to be your art teacher this year" blah blah blah. All that first day crap.

About 15 minutes later, people were either talking, or drawing, or on their phones. I decided to give Jaden an apology for my slight attitude earlier.

As I approached the table he was sitting at, he looked a bit confused at my actions.

"Hey look, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for being kind of bitchy in math class. I'm not much of a people person, so I didn't really know what to do or say. I hope that clears things up" I said, giving him an apologetic smile, while he just looked confused. "Um, I'm sorry, do I know you?" He asked. Okay, I see how it is, he's returning the favor. "It's Y/n, from math class... you are Jaden- right..?" I told him. Oh god. If I just apologized to some stranger, the embarrassment I would feel. I mean- I didn't pay much attention to Jaden, so it is possible.

He started to laugh to himself. It started off as a small humorous laugh, but his laugh just continued to grow, until he finally settled down.

"Stoppp that's so funny. Nah I'm the cooler one. Jaden's my twin brother, but shit. What'd you do already?!" He said, quietly laughing still.

Oh. My. God. That's so fucking embarrassing. And this right here, is why I don't talk to people.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't know he had a twin. And everything's good, at least I hope. I just kinda ignored him to listen to my music" I chuckled, realizing it's not that big of a deal.

"Oh nah, you're good. Plus, listening to music is much better than listening to that dude ramble about baseball" he joked as I let out a small laugh. "I'm Javon by the way." "Nice to meet you, I'm Y/n" I smiled.

The rest of the day went by quickly, and I had last period with Kylee since it was an elective, so that was nice.

I was walking out of the school when I saw Javon and Jaden. I jogged over to them, just to make sure Jaden got my apology. When he saw me, he let out a small sigh. Uh oh.

"Hey, I just wanted to apologize for math class. I wasn't trying to be rude or come off as bitchy, I'm just not a very social person, so I'm sorry if that came off differently then I wanted it to" I said, out of breath.

He looked at me, not talking yet. "I just don't want any harsh feelings or drama." I ended my sentence, walking to my brothers car since he wasn't gonna say anything back.

As Y/n walked off, I looked at Jaden confused. "Bruh. Why didn't you say anything?" I asked, hitting his arm. "She was a bitch first, so I'm being a bitch back" he said, shrugging his shoulders. "Whatever dude. She's not even rude, I talked to her in art class and she's actually pretty cool."

Jaden looked at me then rolled his eyes. "Anyways, Jayla's waiting so we should prolly head out" he said. I nodded.

"Who were those guys you were talking to? They causing you trouble?" My oldest brother, Aj, asked. "No no, they're just some guys from my classes, and if anything, I'm causing them trouble. Just drive" I said, buckling my seat belt.

Once I got home, I scrolled through Instagram, seeing a familiar name pop up on 'suggested accounts'. Kylee. I'll follow her I guess.

A good 30 minutes went by, and I was now watching Stranger Things, when I got a notification saying Kylee followed me back.

She messaged me, thanking me for letting her sit with me at lunch and in PE. I told her she could sit with me whenever, and that was the end of tonight's messages.

I spent the next few hours binge rewatching Stranger Things, causing me to skip dinner. Again. I slowly drifted off into a deep slumber...
