《Long Story Short, The Condom Broke ✔️》Bonus Chapter : Wedding Scene

" Rise and shine bitches! We got a shit load of stuff to do before - woa, what the hell happened to you?"
I just love waking up to Stella's positive attitude. It really helps liften the mood when you are hungover.
Not.
I crack open one eye just to glare at Stella. She's already dressed in her bridesmaid dress. The wedding doesn't start until 4. There is no way she's going to keep that dress on for that long and not have something spilled on it. Although she won't admit it, I know she was excited to get dressed up in her little bridesmaid dress.
My tongue licks over my chapped lips as I look around the mess I like to call my room. Champagne and wine bottles litter my bedroom floor along with pizza boxes.
Why did I agree on having this sleepover with Alexa the night before my wedding?
Speaking of Alexa, I look down at my sister who looks even worse than I do at the moment. She's still sleeping peacefully. How did she not wake up from Stella's loud voice?
I'm just glad mom offered to watch over Chicka so that I don't have to worry about her when getting my beauty sleep for the wedding. That plan vanished as soon as Alexa stepped foot into the house and chased Liam away along with Luke. It was kind of funny to see Alexa kick Liam out of his own house.
I can't believe I'm getting married today. Me, Everly Admas, marrying Liam Wells. Who would've thought that we would last this long with each other? I'm still surprised he hasn't packed his bags and left. I would have if I had to date myself, nevertheless be engaged to myself. I was an absolute bitch when it came to planning this wedding. I didn't want a fancy wedding planner to do all the work, no I wanted to do it the old fashioned way and handle it on my own. It was easier said than done. With Liam opening the night club, a 3 year old daughter and my studies, it was a lot to juggle at once. Nonetheless I had a lot of help from mom, Alexa and even Stella when she wasn't off hunting bounties. It's better to not ask about Stella's life decisions.
I stretch out my arm and use it to shake Alexa awake.
" Can't you get married tomorrow?" Alexa whines.
" You guys partied without me?" Stella sounds as if she's about to cry.
It wasn't like I planned to get wasted before my wedding day and decided on not inviting Stella to join the party. According to me, she and Ryan were celebrating their anniversary or something like that.
" It was in the spur of the moment kind of thing." I try and defend myself before Stella goes all ape shit on me.
Stella shakes her head in disappointment before walking over to the curtains and opening it up. I whine as the sunlight burns my eyes but that doesn't stop Stella from pulling off the duvet that was keeping me warm.
"Lift your ass. It's 10 am. We need to get started." Stella demands as she pulls Alexa by the wrist and out of the bed.
" Wait, it's 10 am?" I question as I look over to the digital clock on my bedside table. My eyes grow wide when I notice it's just past 10 am.
" Shit!" I curse as I flop out of bed and head over to the bathroom that is attached to the bedroom. On my way over I trip over a wine bottle and come crashing down on the floor.

I hear Stella crack up with laughter before pulling myself up and making my way over to the bathroom.
One shower, 2 cups of coffee, 1 cranky Alexa and 12 doughnuts later we arrive at the church where the wedding is going to be held. We make our way over to where all the ladies are going to get ready for the ceremony. The men are on the other side of the church getting dressed as we speak, hopefully. I don't even want to know what the guys are doing to poor Liam. He has Ryan for a groomsmen. They better not ruin this day for me. If they think I was cranky whilst being pregnant, they don't want to see me transform into a bridezilla.
" Mommy!" I hear Chicka yell as soon as I step foot into the room.
" Hi sweetie." I greet her as she runs into my arms with a broad smile on her face.
I think she's more excited about this wedding than I am. Of course she's going to be my little flower girl. Can't let her miss out on an important day in both our lives. She basically treats Liam like her biological father even though we've already had that talk with her. Now that Liam has put a ring on it we can finally start our family together along with Chicka.
Chicka gives me a tight hug before running off to tackle Stella. She has this weird obsession with Stella. She told me she wants to be just like her when she grows up. God no.
" Did you guys party last night when I told you to get a good night's sleep?" mom asks as she walks over to me and Alexa.
" What? Of course not- okay yes we did but it's not my fault." I admit while trying to defend myself.
I might be 22 but I'm still terrified of being scolded by my mother.
" It wasn't my fault. " Alexa cuts in.
" You literally showed up at my house with a bottle of champagne. "
" I'm not the one who decided to go and explore the wine cellar"
" Girls. Enough." Mom scolds.
Alexa and I glare at each other before bursting out in laughter. Not long after a group of people came barging into the room with dresses, makeup, hair equipment and cameras.
After what feels like forever I can finally take a breath and look at my reflection in the mirror. My hair is curled into beachy waves and hang loosely over my shoulders. Some hair are pinned back with a crystal comb. My makeup is done naturally with a smokey eye and cheeks that are tinted in a light shade of pink. I don't think my makeup has ever looked this good. Damn you makeup artist for making me feel bad about how I do my makeup.
I helped Chicka get dressed in her flower girl dress. Not only is she the flower girl but she's also bringing in the rings.
After everyone was finally done with their makeup, hair and getting dressed they all sit down and wait patiently for me to step out in my wedding dress. Once I step out I hear gasps go around.
I laugh at their reactions because they haven't seen the dress yet. I had it designed by a designer from Paris. Call it a girl thing but I've always known exactly what my wedding dress would look like and none of the wedding dress boutiques I visited gave me that so I called in a favor.

I have on an A-line lace wedding dress with a crystal design. It flows out over my 8 inch crystal heels. I don't know how I'm going to be able to walk in these but it's only for the photos and ceremony before I pull on some more comfortable shoes. Turning to look at myself in the wall length mirror I gasp as well. This dress is a dream come true.
I hear some sniffing from behind me and turn around to see my mom in tears. She walks over to me and clasps my hands in her hands tightly.
" I'm so proud of you." she whispers.
" Mom stop you're going to make me tear up." I joke but hug her anyways.
Men dressed in waiter uniforms enter the room and poor each one of us a glass of champagne and apple juice for Chicka. We all cheers while I make sure Stella isn't trying to feed Chicka some of her champagne. I don't want to go through an episode like that again.
After a while the girls start gathering their flower bouquets and mom hands me over my bouquet that I'll be walking down the isle with. The girls head out so long while I grab onto mom's wrist so that she can stay behind.
" We need to get going -"
" Will you walk me down the isle?" I blurt out making mom stop half way through her sentence.
She stares at me with shock before tears become noticeable in her already puffy eyes.
" Of course I will." she sobs before pulling me into a hug.
A sigh of relief leaves my body after hearing her answer. I don't have any communication with my dad whatsoever and I really don't want to walk down the isle on my own. I wanted to ask mom a while ago but I was nervous to hear her answer.
" Everly -" I hear Stella's voice from the door.
I turn around to see her with a worried look on her face. Oh no. Immediately my mind goes into over drive.
Is it Liam?
Did he get cold feet?
Has he gone missing?
Does he still want to marry me?
Quit worrying my conscience scolds.
I can't help it. Anything can go wrong at anytime.
" Please tell me Liam didn't run away." I whisper in concern.
" Oh please. He's forgetting that he has a bounty hunter for a sister. I'll drag his ass back here before the ceremony even starts. But no that's not why I'm here." she rambles.
Oh thank God.
" The pastor's wife just went into labor and he had to go to the hospital so - "
" Now there's no one to lead the wedding. " I whisper in thought.
Of course something like this would happen. If it isn't Liam who gets cold feet then it's the pastor's wife that's going into labor.
" Yeah..." Stella says awkwardly.
" But-" she starts before I have a mental breakdown.
" There is someone that could step in -" she continues
She pauses for a moment before stepping to the side and allowing that someone to step forward.
" Ryan?" I ask shocked.
He has a marriage officiant license?
" I went to Vegas." he shrugs.
I nod in understanding. I really have no other choice but to let Ryan marry Liam and I. Although I would've preferred a pastor to marry us this is the only option I have left.
We all join the others in the hallway just before the room where all the guests have gathered. Ryan makes his way inside to set up and hopefully not ruin my wedding. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm putting the future of my relationship with Liam in Ryan's hands.
" This is it." Alexa breathes before the doors open and Chicka walks in with her flower basket filled with pink rose pedals. I can only see a little bit of action from her from where I'm standing but from the "aw's" I hear from the audience I'm sure she's doing a great job.
Alexa is the one who leads the bridesmaids into the room seeing as she's my maid of honor and soon enough it's just mom and I.
" I'm so happy for you." mom whispers from next to me.
" Thanks mom, for everything." I smile while giving her a light squeeze on the arm.
I link my arm with hers and soon enough I'm taking my first step into the room. All eyes fall onto me. It's kind of terrifying knowing that more than a 100 pairs of eyes are watching my every move, just waiting for me to trip and fall down in these insanely high heels.
All my worries are washed away when my eyes land on Liam. He's standing next to Chase, his best man, with a goofy smile. He's dressed in the light gray suit that I've chosen out for him to match with the theme of the wedding. His hair is combed back smoothly and I can make out a light stubble on his jaw. The way he's looking at me right now makes me want to jump him right in front of everyone. Damn he looks good.
With every step I'm taking his face lightens up more. I watch the quick movement of his hand as he wipes at his face.
Damn you Liam. I told him to not get emotional because then I'll get emotional.
As if reading my thoughts he let's out a light chuckle causing my heart to skip a beat. I feel my own eyes well up as I take my last step. I have to forcefully tear my eyes away from him and focus it on my mom. She lifts up my veil and gives me a soft kiss on the cheek.
" I love you so much." she whispers.
I have to force the tears back in as she takes the flowers out of my hand and returns to her assigned seat next to my grandparents. I give them a small smile before turning back to Liam. I blush when I see his eyes roam over me and linger a second longer on my breast.
Even in a church he still finds his ways to check me out.
" Dearly beloveds." Ryan starts.
I have to hold back a laugh at how professional he's trying to act. This is so not Ryan.
" We are gathered here today to witness a life long punishment - I mean commitment -" he corrects himself before I get the chance to growl at him," between two lost souls who found one another and became whole."
He's not wrong. I was lost before I met him. I was going through a really hard time in my life and I really didn't make it easy on him. The fact that he put up with all my crap just comes to show how much he really loves me.
" Before we start with all the sappy stuff, does anyone here have any valid reason why these two love birds should not get married?"
I glance at the crowd and see no one lift their hands. I'm glad everyone is happy with the two of us getting married. I wouldn't care if they thought otherwise. It's not them who is going to be stuck with Liam anyways.
" Alrighty then. I believe the bride and groom prepared their own vows?" he questions us and I nod in response.
Don't mess this up.
Liam clears his throat announcing that he's going first and that I shouldn't challenge him right now. He can be lucky I take weddings seriously.
He mouthes a quick I love you while I try and get my tears under control.
Leave it to Liam to be sappy, funny and extremely adorable when it comes to vows.
" Whipped. " I hear Lucas comment once Chicka has returned to her spot next to Stella.
" Everly." Ryan says letting me know it's my turn.
I should have gone first because now my vow is going to look like a toddler standing next to a grown man.
" I don't know how I put up with you." I start off. What a great way to start my vow eh.
" Somehow you managed to leave a footprint deep in my heart and no matter how many times I tried to cover up your tracks it's still clear for everyone around me to see. It took us a while to figure out where our lives were headed and I'm glad we finally realized that were stronger than any obstacle waiting for us because now I'm standing in front of you on the verge of being your wife. I never thought you would put up with all the emotional baggage that I carry with me but look at where we are. It's too late now to turn around. " I say while throwing a playful glare his way making him chuckle. " To say that I love you doesn't even begin to describe how strong my feelings are for you. I'm in love with every part of you. Inside and out. You're kind heart is what attracts me to you the most. You accept me for who I am and you aren't scared away by the fact that I have a daughter. You treat her as your own and for that I'll forever be grateful. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. "
I also mouth a quick I love you to Liam and allow Ryan to continue on with the ceremony. Chicka comes forward with the rings that are surprisingly still in one place and patiently waits for us to put it on each other's fingers before going back to Stella.
Ryan makes a few more jokes and eventually he says the familiar you may kiss the bride before everyone starts cheering as we walk back down the isle. Thank God Ryan didn't mess this up. He wasn't what I was expecting but he surprisingly did a good job.
After signing the legal marriage documents we make our way over to the after party where all the guest were waiting for us to arrive. Apart from Stella almost wanting to break my cousins jaw because she was checking Ryan out the whole evening went forth without any flaws. We did the traditional first dance, cake cutting and flower tossing which landed in Alexa's hands. I'm expecting a wedding soon. We danced the whole night through. Mom left earlier with a sleepy Chicka in her arms and reassured me that everything will be okay and that I should enjoy my honeymoon without having to worry about a thing. Liam and I left before the party was over to go to the airport where his jet, Suzi, was waiting for us. I still don't know where Liam is taking me for our honeymoon and to say I'm excited is to put it mild. I was beyond excited.
" Are you excited?" Liams asks with a smirk plastered on his beautiful sculptured face.
" What gave it away?" I question him with an eyebrow raised.
" Oh you know the bouncing on the seat and the beautiful smile spread across your face." he shrugs.
" Maybe I'm just excited to finally be your wife."
" Yeah right." he chuckles making me gasp and hit him playfully on the shoulder.
" So baby number 2?" Liam questions with a smirk on his face as we enter the jet.
" Keep on dreaming big boy. "
" I can show what's big - "
" Liam! " I scold him as my cheeks go red from his blutness.
He only chuckles as I look at him in disbelief.
I can't believe I'm married to this.
Don't act like you don't like it my conscience adds.
I don't like it.
I absolutely love it.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. In a world where cultivation is the highest form of virtue, the purity of one’s blood is of absolute value. Saul is neither Arloni, nor Delcairan. He’s both. But when a strange ring suddenly falls into his hands, nineteen year old Saul is more than willing to push the boundary between fantasy and reality. However, things are not as they once were in Falden. At a time where Saul finally confronts lord Albryte’s sons after years of torment and abuse, his father’s health is fading fast. Suddenly faced with the consequences of his actions, Saul is forced to make a difficult decision. And as he fights his own battle, dark forces descend upon Lucidia. Followed by a pair of glowing red eyes, a stranger appears in the night, visiting Falden with unfavorable intentions. Even worse, nameless assassins strike at the heart of the capital, leaving Eliza Zaryph, the black sheep of the ruling house of Lucidia, shouldering the burden of governing a kingdom that once turned its back on her. As the world marches toward chaos, their lives take a drastic turn. Will Saul abandon those he holds most dear? Will Eliza drown herself in the past? Or will they struggle against fate and seize the future with their own hands? Tomorrow remains uncertain. But the Sun will show them the way.
