Battle cries of the Vikings echoed through the village of Berk. The dragon raid was happening on Berk now. The houses were on fire and the Vikings were fighting like mad men. They were stubborn enough to stay here on this island and fight the dragons.
Stoick the vast, The Chief of Berk. He was a great warrior. Everyone respected him. There was a rumor that he popped the dragon's head out of its shoulder since he was young. The Chief was the most stubborn viking on Berk.
Valka Haddock, The Chieftess. The wife of Stoick. She was a strong woman with kind heart. She thinks that the dragons were not what they were. She wanted to change the Chief's mind.
"Stoick! You only make it worse!" She shouted at the Chief before knocking the hammer out of his grip that nearly went down to the dragon's head "What has it ever do to you?!"
"They're stealing our supplies! We have to protect the storehouse!" Stoick said and scowled as the dragon he held had escaped. "Get back insi-" Stoick didn't finish his sentence. The Chief house's roof was exploded and a Stormcutter flew inside.
"Hiccup!!" Valka ran quickly into the house to save her son.
"Valka! Don't go inside!" But it was too late Valka had reached the house. Stoick grunted and ran after her.
Valka bursted into the door and saw the Stormcutter. It was playing with her son. Hiccup giggled as he reached his hands to touched its claw. Stormcutter cooed and purred. Valka stood there watching the scene in disbelief. Stoick approached her quickly and then threw the axe at the dragon.
The targeted dragon was already on guard. It knocked the axe away and suddenly took off with Hiccup's basket in its talon. "Hiccup!!!" The parents of the child shouted.
The raid had stopped already but the Chief and his wife mourned for their son. That day the chief vowed that he will kill every dragon he sees.
