Hiccup's POV
Sitting quietly next to Toothless. I was planning about how to confess Toothless about my love for him. And also I was planning about what should we do today. Maybe go to the dragon's island an hand out there? That sounded fun. And maybe I could claim him there. As I thought about that Toothless whimpered and flipped around. Maybe he was having a nightmare. I should wake him up. But before I could wake him up. He started murmuring something.
"Hiccup" Toothless called out. He was dreaming about me? But why would he?
Toothless whimpered and flipped around frustratingly. Maybe I should really wake him up but I wanted to hear him more. He was surely having a good dream.
Toothless gasped before his eyes snapped open. He looked confused and panted hard. I didn't even know human could be like this.
"Someone was having a sweet dream~" I said teasingly "It's nothing to be embarrassed though"
"H-how long have you been up??" Toothless asked as his face turned red. I giggled at that face. It was so fun seeing him like that.
"All the time" I said and grinned softly "Entire night. But you just started moaning my name five minutes ago" I laughed at his redder face.
"Y-your name?"
"Yes my name... I guess there was me in your dream huh?" I said.
"Hmm... Anyway it's morning now. You're going to the arena today?" I asked.
"Oh gods... I have to go there. This is so boring!" Toothless whined.
"Need any help?" I offered him a help. I helped him yesterday when he was fighting with the Gronckle. I told it to stay away from my mate.
"No it's okay" Toothless said. I felt a bit disappointed because I couldn't protect him. I only nodded and didn't say anything more. We walked to our destination and I waited for Toothless in the forge. Feeling bored to death.
Toothless had finally finished the training. He said that he had used the grass on the dragon. I was really glad that he didn't harm it. When we reached at the cove I told him that I wanted to bring him to a special place. He hopped on my dragon form and we took off to the dragon's island.
When we reached there I told him that the dragons were no harmful. We sat on the cliff of the island looking at the setting sun together.
"Toothless?" I spoke up, breaking the silence. I was blushing hard. I was going to confess him.
"Hmm?" He mumbled back.
"Do you want to know who I choose?" I said.
He looked away before turning to me with a nod. He looked like he was hoping for something. He looked upset and heartbroken to know who I liked. I supposed that he finally developed his feeling for me.
I grinned softly before pushing him to lay on the ground and I was on top of him then I leaned in to kiss him. He looked surprised but didn't push me away either. Instead he kissed me back. Then I licked his lips, asking for the entrance. He parted his lips and let my tongue slipped into him, we made out for a while before pulling back, both seemed breathless.
We broke apart and stared at each other's eyes. "That was..." He muttered.
"Great" I finished and kissed his cheek before sliding my tongue down to his neck and the crook between his neck and shoulder. "I'm going to mark you. I'm going to make you be mine and only mine" I said and growled possessively.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Toothless said and grinned.
I chuckled before sinking my fangs into the fresh. Toothless was trying to hold his groan back. I pulled out and licked the wound, healing it, leaving the mark that told the other dragons to stay away from my mate.
I kiss his cheek before saying "Very well. My little brave mate" I nuzzled him affectionately.
"You know that you're sitting on me right" Toothless said before giggling.
"Damn.. I really wanted to take your virginity right here and now" I cooed and got up from him.
Toothless shivered and sat up as well. "W-well. We have to wait until I'm ready... I'm just fifteen you know.." He said and I nodded in agreement.
"Well... Let's get back to your home before mom worried... And this is secret between us" I said and shifted before letting Toothless hop on me and we took off.
-----------------------
"So that... None of the dragons will attack me because I'm a mate of the dragon prince?" Toothless said as I explained what were the advantages of being my mate.
I was wrapping my arms around him from behind. Such perfect position. I nipped at the mark I gave him. He was so beautiful. He was the most beautiful being forever. "Yes" I mumbled through the nipping.
"Don't do that... It feels...weird" Toothless said a bit shaky.
"Oh. You're feeling good at this?" I asked and hugged him tighter.
"You're being grabby. You know that?" Toothless said and chuckled.
"I'm grabby when I'm with you. And another reason is that you're so cuddly" I said and purred into his ear.
"Argh let's sleep"
I gave him a kiss before held him in my arms. I knew I was short but I was a dominant dragon. I had to protect him from any dangers.
------------------------
Next day
Toothless's POV
Hiccup and I stood at the docks as we had recently saw Berk's crests arriving. I hoped they were coming home safe and sound. The crests were damaged but it could still contained the over weighted vikings though. When the crests set I walked to Dad and helped him up. I grabbed his duffle bag and carried it along with him while Hiccup following me. Stoick's expression obviously showed that he wasn't in a good mood.
"I hope you found the nest at least" I said bluntly.
"Not even close" Stoick growled. "But I hope you have a little success than me"
I nodded and said "The dragon training went well... And...that's all"
"How well?" Stoick asked.
"I am in the final test" I replied and Stoick beamed proudly.
"I guess the training I gave you have paid off huh?" Stoick said.
I giggled nervously and glanced at Hiccup who was starring at Stoick like an owl then he sighed quietly. "Oh. And this is Hiccup" I said and Stoick cringed a bit before turning to the dragon boy.
"Hello I'm Stoick The Vast. The Chief of Berk. Who you might be....?" Stoick asked, trying to hold his suspicion.
"I'm Hiccup! I'm a freeman!" Hiccup said a bit hyper.
Stoick looked longingly into Hiccup's eyes before turning toward our house. I could see that he was missing his son. Well his actual son was here. But I didn't think that telling Stoick about that now was the best idea. But I didn't want to let him mourn for his son either.
Hiccup seemed to know what I was doing too. How could he be this smart? "Don't worry my mate. The right time will come" He whispered into my ear. I nodded slightly and I entered the house.

"I'll be in the forge" Hiccup said and walked away to the forge. I nodded understandingly and I followed Stoick into the house.
Valka approached Stoick and they kissed before she spoke up. "Welcome back"
Stoick smiled. I let them be and placed the bag on the ground before walking to the forge to see Hiccup. And as I expected. He was repairing some tools.
"Hey" I said as I approached him and sat beside him.
"Hey" He said back and there was a pregnant silence between us.
"You know that it is your choice to tell him" I spoke up.
Hiccup nodded before speaking "But I'm not sure... I'm a part dragon. He would likely kill me before I speak a word. Vikings are stubborn" He said.
"You can make him listen. We can make him listen" I said.
"But... I don't think I could tell him. I mean.. I have you now. Nothing is mattering to me, isn't it?" He said. "We could just go away from here. We could just go to my dragon father's nest. We could have a happy life there. We could have our own family and hatchlings"
"I know but this is your birth home. You can't just leave it here. We can't just leave it here, knowing that the Red Death is still raiding Berk" I said.
"Berk...." Hiccup murmured tonelessly. "My home?"
"Yes it was your home. Your biological parents are here. They miss you all the time Hiccup. They care for you" I said and he sighed quietly.
"Toothless. The final test of yours and Astrid's begins in a few minutes" Gobber walked into the forge and spoke up before minding his own business in the forge.
"I'll be there immediately" I said.
Hiccup touched my shoulder "I don't really like the fact that you forced into the training. But you have been doing this so far. All I want is you to be untouched and safe" He whispered and kissed me deeply before broke apart "Be safe"
"I promise that I'll be" I said and gave Hiccup a wink before going to the arena.
--------------------------------
In the arena. Astrid and I were gripping our weapons. The crowd formed at the edge o the metal ceiling. I gulped and sweated. If I won this Stoick wouldn't be shamed. But that meant I had to face the Monstrous Nightmare. I could sense Hiccup around here. Maybe that was because I was bonded with him. He explained that last night. I had gained some perks such as talking Dragonese and sharper senses.
"Let the Nadder out!" The crowd shouted, growing impatient.
I sighed and held my sword firmly. The sword given to me by Hiccup, showing that he loved me and wanted to be my lover.
Gobber pulled the lock up and the Nadder jumped out and roared "You puny human!! How dare you imprison me!!" That was what I heard.
"Here we go..." I murmured and rolled away as the Nadder charged at me and then it sent its spines at me. I block them with my sword quickly. I was amazed at my new speed. The crowd 'ooh-ed' and cheered my name.
Astrid lunged the Nadder and developed a blow of her axe. Nadder jumped away and swept its tail under her feet, making Astrid fell to the ground with a scowl.
The Nadder then lunged at me again. This time I didn't avoid. I smirked and exposed my neck to show Hiccup's mark.
Nadder squawked and backed away. "The Prince's mark?! The prince's mark!!"
"Yes. I'm his mate. And I don't think he will appreciate you hurting me" I growled and pointed my sword at it. "Back! Back! Now don't make me say that again!" I led it into its cage and close the cage quickly.
I let out a breath before realizing that the crowd had quieted down. I looked up and saw everyone's mouth hung open even Astrid.
I turned o look at Hiccup and saw he grinned softly at me. Stoick smiled proudly at me and then the crowd apart, revealing the elder Gothi. Gobber dragged me and Astrid to the front of her and he put his hand above Astrid. The elder shook her head no. And then Gobber put his hook above me and the elder nodded as a yes. I groaned quietly. The crowd cheered and Fishlegs picked me up and place him on his shoulder. Hiccup looked a bit angry as Fishlegs touched me. "Thank you! Thank you....I'm so...dead" I whispered at the last word.
---------------------------------
"We should leave" Hiccup said as we walked through the forest to the cove. "I mean... I don't want to see you killing a dragon.."
"We can't just leave them here" I said.
"Then what you will do about tomorrow entrance?" Hiccup asked.
"Just...let me think" I replied.
I wasn't sure if I could do anything about changing their minds. Vikings were stubborn. They were afraid of difference. But I was Chief's son...well adopted. I might get Stoick to listen to me.
"Fine...but if anything go wrong. I won't hesitate to kill the one who harm you" Hiccup said coldly.
"Aww Overprotective!" I exclaimed.
He pinned me down and bit his mark on my neck neatly "You're mine" He growled possessively.
"O-okay okay"
--------------------------------
I was now at the entrance of the arena. I looked at my Dad who was declaring about how proud of me he felt. I sighed deeply and then Hiccup touched my shoulder and I turned around to meet the beautiful face. "I still remember the words I said yesterday"
I chuckled "When you ever forget?" I said mockingly.
Hiccup giggled and kiss my cheek "Be safe"
"I promise" I said.
Gobber turned around the corner and spoke up "Come one Lad. It's time" He said and opened the gate.
I inhaled and walked into the arena. Stoick's eyes were gleaming at me. I walked over to the center of the arena and declared that I was ready.
Stoick told the man to lift up the lock and the dragon bursted out on fire. "Long live the queen! Long live the queen!" I heard it said. The nightmare had recently caged. So the queen's control might still play on it.
"Hey hey.. Snap out of it" I said nervously. "She was just controlling you"
"No! It's a liar!" It roared at me and breath fire at me. I crouched down and brought out my sword. I jumped back as it drew its claws at me.
"Please! I don't wanna fight!" I said as I avoided another fire.
"Die human! Die!" It snarled and lunged at me. This one was as stubborn as Stoick. I bet they would likely go along well.
Hiccup...stood at the edge of the ceiling. He stared at the Nightmare with slitted eyes. I had never seen him like that before. He was obviously ready the kill the nightmare if it laid any bit of its on me.
I was cornered because it had lightened itself on fire and it was now ready to blast me. As soon as I thought it blasted at me. And suddenly a pillar of ice thrusted up from the ground between me and the fire. "Hiccup...." I murmured in fear as Hiccup jumped into the arena and let out a loud snarled at the Nightmare.
"Don't you dare harm my mate!!" Hiccup summoned ice from the ground. I quickly ran to him and pinned him down.
"Snap out of it, Hiccup! Don't let your anger take over you!" I said. I looked around and saw that the Nightmare was looking around in confusion like every vikings else. They all looked at us.
Hiccup growled and pushed me up and his icy wings and tail appeared. He cover the ceiling up with thin but strong ice and also the entrance gate too. He turned at me with softened eyes.
"I can't stop them forever. You have too decide now. Stay or Leave" Hiccup said seriously.
My breathed shuddered. I bit inside of my mouth "I need to stay..." I said.
Hiccup nodded and the ice melt down. "You have chosen... I'll be with you no matter what" He said.
The vikings jumped down with their weapons. Stoick on the other hand was arguing with Valka. I ran to protect the Nightmare. "No! Don't hurt it! It has done nothing wrong!" I shouted.
"Get away from that beast!" Stoick yelled in anger. "And that freak!" He pointed at Hiccup. "Cage him up!"
"What?! No Dad!" I exclaimed and pulled Hiccup behind me. The Nightmare was pinned by the others "Hiccup isn't harmful!"
"It is! Look at what has it done recently!" Stoick said and pointed at Hiccup accusingly "Put the monster in the cage!" He declared and the vikings shoved me away. Even if I had gained power. It still wasn't enough to protect Hiccup. Hiccup roared in anger but only struggle. He didn't want to fight back because of me.
"No! Hiccup!" I yelled. Stoick grabbed me arms and grabbed me along to the great hall quickly. I was screaming for Hiccup all the way.
I threw me through the door before slamming it shut. He glared at me and I glared back. "You were protecting them" He said accusingly.
Valka bursted through the door "They were just protecting themselves, Stoick" She said.
"From what?! Us?! They attacked us first!" Stoick yelled.
"They were controlled Dad!" I yelled.
He turned sharply at me and glared "Don't you dare call me like that! You sick freak!" His words pierced my heart like a lightning.
My eyes widened ad I stumbled back. Valka gasped loudly. You are a freak.. No! No one loves you.. It's not true! Stoick even called you a freak! No one would like an abnormal like you! You're a mistake! My tears welled up and slid down my cheeks quickly. I thought I was loved. I thought he loved me. I thought...I was happy.
Stoick realized what he said to me "S-son.. I didn't mean to say t-that..." He stuttered out.
I clenched my fists and ran out of the great hall. Valka was following me and shouting my name. I let the tears fall freely because I knew I wasn't able to hold them anymore. I ran into the arena and saw Hiccup struggling against the chains that wrap around him. "Hiccup!" I yelled and unchained him quickly. The vikings were stupid enough that they didn't even know the proper way the chained someone up.
"Toothless? Why are you crying? What happened?" Hiccup grabbed my face and looked into my eyes worriedly.
"L-leave... Just leave" I said and Hiccup nodded before shifting. I hopped on him and we took off into the sky.
I was leaning toward and I sobbed into my hands quietly. Hiccup obviously could sense my depression but he didn't say anything because I just wanted to let it all out. Shortly after that I fell sleep on Hiccup.
------------------------------
Hiccup's POV
After my mate fell asleep. I quickly looked into his memories. What I saw anger me very much. How dare my biological father do that to my mate. It was hurt more than everything else when you were loved.
I really wanted to kill the brat that was my father. How could he be so harsh. How could he push my mate to this breaking point.
I flew across the ocean for a while and then my home appeared far away. I sped up to the nest and entered it quickly. I shifted back and carried my mate to my dragon father. "I see that you've finally had him"
I nodded and said "And also.. I had met my real parents. But my biological father was very harsh on my mate. He made my mate felt bad. I hated the fact that I couldn't kill him because he's my biological father"
The BB took a look at my mate "He's quiet good looking. My years of teaching you had paid off"
"He's my soulmate...My life...I love him forever" I said and grinned softly at my mate.
"Take some rest. You want it" The BB said.
I bowed and thanked him before heading to my cozy nest. I laid my mate on the glass bed and I laid beside him before embracing him, pressing his head against my chest, protecting him. "Sleep tight my mate" I said before going to sleep.

Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
