It was a game night. Monopoly and Clue were spread out. Switching the two games out for one another. Monopoly caused the boys to riot on eachother. You and Jonahs girlfriend ,Tate , sat close. Watching the boys switch the games. Mumbling swears under their breaths. It was thanksgiving weekend. The last day of it. You didn't end up having as much time as you wanted with your boyfriend Daniel so he invited you and the others for a last day game night.
You sat with your back to the couch. While Daniel was sat on the floor. Between your legs. Reaching up his hand and wiggling his fingers. You laughed before intertwining them. " Are you having fun, Honey?" He pulled you forward. Leaning his head back so he could see your face inside down. " Yes I'm having the time of my life." The sarcasm dripped off your words. Daniel only rolled his eyes jokingly. Puckering up his lips. You kissed him quickly. Not wanting to show to much PDA.
" That wasn't long enough." Daniel whined. He wanted to spend time with you and was slighty regretting not just ending the game a while ago so he could take you upstairs alone. " That's the longest your going to get Dani." You giggled at his pout. It quickly wiping off when Zach clapped his hands for the groups attention.
The game continued. Soon running out of the snacks on the side of the playing bourd. Jack eating the last chip. " Can you girls please get more snacks," The curly headed boy put his hands together to pray. You looked over the other auburn haired woman. Nodding when she shrugged. Jack yelling a " Thank you," when you left the room.
Corbyn talked first. " Daniel, is Y/n Okay? She looked a little annoyed over there." The blond boy looked at the fellow bandmates who nodded their heads also. " Shes kinda looked like a toddler." Zach giggled to himself. Daniel rolled his eyes at the boy.

" Shes fine, I think." He shrugged moving his piece on the board. Jack looked at Zach and then turned his head to look at Daniel. His eyes brightening. " Shes like a grumpy five year old. Jonah you know the look I'm talking about. " Jonah chuckled.
" Yeah I know the one. Where her eyebrows go up and her lips are pressed together." Daniel couldn't help but crack a smile. Knowing that it was the exact looked you gave him a week ago when he said he liked your blue shirt better than the red.
" She only uses it when you post a picture she doesn't like, know the one." He chuckled himself. All the boys turning into giggling messes. Giving different scenarios you look a certain way. Before Zach stopped completely. " She is a few years younger than you. Maybe she does need to grow up a bit. You know?" Daniel only nodded his head at the boys. " Yeah, I know shes a little young."
Unknown to them, you stood at the door listening to the whole conversation. How you were so childish and that Daniel needs a much older and mature girlfriend. To which he agreed. You felt like nothing. The five months you've been together. It was nothing to him. Like he needed a better girlfriend. You felt sick to your stomach just thinking about how the boy you fell in love with no longer loves you back. If he did in the first place.
Tate came over with two bowls of chips. Seeing the color drain from your face. " Hey are you okay?" You looked up at her. Sadness covered you eyes. You pushed a hand through your hair. "Actually I'm not feeling good. Im going to go home." You quickly remembered your purse with the keys to your car was in Daniels room. She only nodded.

You walked into the living room. Daniel was the first to notice your off face. You didn't make eye contact with anybody. Keeping your eyes on the floor while you grabbed your phone. " I'm not feeling well so I think I'm going to leave, See you guys later." You left with no other words. Daniel looked around in confusion. Tate only shruuged and the boys along with her. Daniel placed his cards on the floor, getting up and following you.
You were gathering your things. Checking twice to see if you have your keys when Daniel opened the door. " Whats wrong?" He walked up to you. Placing his arms at your waist. To which you steped away. letting his arms fall back to his side.
" Im not feeling well. Ill talk to you later." Your voice was cold. More than you meant it to be but it still was. He looked sad. His blue eyes dropping their bright color for a moment. You went for the door handle. Wanting to leave before an argument started. Daniel saw your movements and followed them. Grabbing your wrist. He once again pulled you into him.
"Tell me whats wrong and then you can leave." Your hands were between you both. The frustration and anger from the minutes prior building up. " Fine you want to know whats wrong, okay. You think I'm to much of a child to be dating you." It was Daniel who pulled away from you. His eyesbows raised. His mouth opening and closing with no words coming out.
" Don't bother lying to me. I heard you and the boys talking. All about how much I look like a toddler right?" You took a step back. Continuing your rant. " Daniel if you thought I was not right for you then why did you let me fall in love with you." Your once firm voice breaking. You could see the blurriness come into your vision. Yet Daniel was still at a loss for words.
You took his silence as a sign. You went to the door. Opening it a sliver. Ready to walk out of it when Daniel grabbed you by the waist. Almost slamming your body into his. His lips forcefully attached to yours. You kissed back. Feeling his eagerness and love. Your arms traveled behind his neck. One of his stayed at your waist while the other at your check. Giving him a better angle to kiss you.
Slipping his tongue into your mouth without warning. Clashing against each other. You tugging at the ends of his hair. The nice gelled locks becoming messier by the minute. He took his lips away abruptly. Going to your jaw to ease the tension that raised in the few minutes. Leaving marks while you caught your breath.
Finally pulling his eyes to meet yours. Your foreheads almost touching. " You could never not be right for me because I'm so utterly in love with you that the fact that you almost left me makes me break inside. Your not to childish and I'm sorry that we made fun of you but know that we would never mean any harm by it. Please do not walk out of that door." Daniel was begging for you to stay. His eyes pleading with you. Your breaths still heavy and lips swollen you brought your mouth back to his. Placing one lingering kiss on his plump lips.
" I wouldn't dream of it."

This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
