Sharife was currently trying to convince me to try out for the girls team after school.
"Yes you are jay just do it " he said laughing

It's currently 3pm and school just ended and I'm in the gym shorts I made my mom bring me.
"Ok girls get on line" the coach yelled
I got on the line like the other girls and we did some drills.
"Ight were gonna play a little scrimmage" coach said while putting us in teams.
"You're team captain" she said pointing at me," and you're your team captin" she said pointing at a random girl on the other team.
She passed me the ball and I checked up with the other team captin.

After the scrimmage my team had one.of course.
I mean but like no need to brag😏
"Okay guys go change and I'll post the results tomorrow"
I made my way into the locker room grabbing my bag and changing back into my clothes.
"Shes not even that good I dont know why coach made her captin" I heard someone from my team whisper.
I looked at her with a mug.

Walking out I seen sharife waiting for me on the bleachers.
"Didnt practice end already" I said stopping in front of him.

"Can you drive me home?" I asked crossing my fingers behind my back

"No I might have forgot about telling her I was trying out "I said laughing, "why?? You dont want me to go with u" I said in fake disbelief

Me and Sharife are currently in his dad's care blasting dreams and nightmares by meek mill.
"HOLD WAIT A MIN, YALL THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED" I yelled.
Over the course of the few days I've been here me and sharifes dad have gotten a close bond, almost closer than me and sharife.
I started recording me and sharife on snapchat before posting it on my story.
"Ight jay were here" he said pulling up in front of my house.
"Thanks Omar" I said putting my hand back to dap him up
I dap him up but instead of doing it back he gave me a weird look.
"You a whole nigga " he said laughing
I laughed
"Bye sharife" I said giving him a side hug.
"Bye jay" he said hugging me back.
I got out the car and made my way to the door. As soon as I got into the door they pulled off.

I sat next to her motioning for her to go on.
"So I've been talking to someone for a while now and-" I cut her off
"And u didn't tell me" I said confused
"Uh yeah but let me finish, where getting married and um he's gonna be moving in" she said looking at me waiting for an answer

Instead of smiling I laughed.

You're probably wondering why it's a big deal. My dad is currently in jail for theft and first degree murder and not only will my mom not let me talk to him but she wont even let me talk about him. So to me it's like you want me to not talk to my dad then have some other nigga play step- dad. HA no.
"Omg jayln are you really that stuck up" she said in disbelief
"So you expect to let some nigga in my house that I dont know"

Without responding I just got up and went to my room not wanting to hear more of this bs.

I know she didnt just come in here with this bs.
I'm not about to impress someone who means nothing to me. I got up and changed from my shorts into some joggers and a hoodie. Walking downstairs I see a tall browsing man with a beard and curly hair. My mom looked at me with a frown.
I kinda felt bad but it's ok she can be mad for a night.
He sat in front of me and my mom sat on my side.(so basically a triangle).
"So you're Mariah's daughter" he said looking at me.
I mumbled yes as my mom came out with the last plate of food. She smiled at us and we all started eating.
"So jay do you play any sports" he asked like he was interested.
"Mhm" I mumbled picking at my food.
"Shes a little shy" my mom said with a smile making me mug her.

The dinner basically consisted of me mumbling and my mom answering questions. But mostly them talking.
I had just showered and was in my bed on my phone.
Oh did I mention hes also sleeping over for the next week.
I texted sharife about what had occurred today.

Lastly, there are two opposing factions in this world. The marines and the pirates, most strong people are part of either one. Both have their ups and downs. Pirates are free people who do whatever they want. Good or Bad. Marines are the upholders of justice in this world yet no justice system is without corruption.
