Pov Wilbur

(Time skip next day afternoon)

I opened the door to the flat and went inside. I put my keys on the sideboard next to the door and got out of my shoes. When I got in the living room I looked around for y/n but she wasn't there. I went to her room and knocked against the wooden door. I waited a moment before knocking again. Was she asleep? We usually do something in the evening so it was a little weird that it was so quiet. After waiting a bit longer I decided to go inside to check if she was alright.

I slowly opened the door and looked in the direction of her bed. It was empty. I steped into then room and noticed her standing a the opened window leaning on the windowsill. It looked she didn't notice me as I stepped closer.

"Y/n? Is everything alright?" My voice caught her attention. She flinched but as soon as she saw that it was me, the end of her lips curled up into a smile. She took her AirPods out.

"Oh hey. Yeah I'm alright." She rested her chin on her hand and looked back outside. I rested my elbows next to hers and also looked outside.

"Really? You look kinda... sad?" She let out a small sigh.

"Yeah... It's just one of these days, you know?" I nodded. "Just thinking about stuff... while also trying to get your mind of of things..."

"Do you want to be alone?" "No! No... Its fine... I don't mind your company." She gave me a small smile. I tried to give her a comforting smile back. For a moment its was just us smiling in silence, that was interrupted by her giving me one of her AirPods. I took it and we listened to the music for a while.

After some songs she turned to me.

"What do you usually do to get your mind off of things?" She asked while playing with the headphone case.

I thought about it for a second before answering.

"I usually imagine scenarios that I believe would be comforting." Y/n nodded and turned her face to face the stars that were already showing. "Are you doing it right now?"

"Nah... I can't really think of a nicer scenario that this." It took me little moment to realized the meaning one the words she just said. "What about you?" She asked while still looking into the night sky.

I smiled to myself. I scooted a little closer to her. She understood and rested her head one my shoulder. I rested my on top of hers. "Its perfect..." My cheeks felt really warm but I didn't care. I really couldn't think of any better place to be right now. I closed my eyes when the cold wind hit my face. I thought about how nice it would be to kiss her right now but I knew that its would destroy this moment so I just kept listing to the music and enjoying the cold wind in this summer night. I chuckled to myself when I heard the next song...
