When Saturday comes I'm on a phone call with Somi when I went downstairs to grab some food from the kitchen when I saw Jennie cooking already and surprisingly she's not on her phone talking to Kai.

"Today? " I asked Somi since she's telling me we should go out since it's the weekend "I think I'm free" I said taking a seat on the counter and Jennie immediately turn around to look at me

"Lisa, do you mind coming with me to work today? "She blurted out immediately

"Why's that? " I asked before telling Somi 'hold on'

"Please... " she said walking towards me as she roams her eyes around probably feeling like I'll say no to her

I chuckled a bit and put my phone back on my ear "Somi, let's hang out some other time" I said and bid her goodbye before ending the call as I saw a smile crept into Jennie's face before she turns around.

Once we made it to her office we were greeted by her secretary so I smiled back at her and greeted her

"Stop smiling at everyone " Jennie said in a pissed-off tone as she pulled me inside. I don't even know what's wrong with smiling at everyone.

"Do you have meetings today? " I asked as she takes her seat and I made my way towards the couch

"I have one but I mostly need to finish paperwork" she said so I just nodded and stayed silent while she does her job.

After a couple of hours watching random shows on the TV, my phone rings a bit so I look down to see Somi's text

"Who's that? " Jennie asked so I look over at her who stopped with her paperwork just to question me

"Somi" I said simply and was about to reply but Jennie cleared her throat

"Lisayah... Can you massage my back?" She said making me look at her "it kinda hurts from sitting too long" she said making me raise my brows at her... What's happening to Jennie right now?

I stood up and walk towards her to start massaging her shoulder and after some minutes she went back on her paperwork while I keep on massaging it.

"Oh I forgot to reply to Somi " I said and before I can even go back to the couch to get my phone Jennie stand up making me look at her.

"Oh look it's almost lunchtime... Let's go out and eat somewhere" she said looking at her wrist watch making me furrow my brows

"Aren't you gonna finish that first? " I asked but she shakes her head

"I'll do it later... I'm hungry already" she said pulling my hand

"I'll just get my phone" I said squeezing her hand but she pulled me again

"You won't use your phone while eating Lisayah " she said and pulled me out with her.

We went to a Thai restaurant for our lunch and Jennie didn't even eat a lot cause she's not that hungry yet when she just stated that she's already hungry earlier... I just don't understand her sometimes.

When we went back to the company Jennie didn't even bother letting me inside her office and I badly need to go in cause it's been a few hours since Somi sent a text and I haven't replied yet.

"Jennie I'll just go get my phone " I said once she went out of her office to grab some stuff

"We're running late for the meeting cmon " she said pulling me with her as I just sighed and let her drag me to the meeting room.

When we got in with her secretary my eyes landed on the girl who has her back facing us and a man who's standing... I think I saw him before.

"Oh Lisa you're here" he said making me furrow and when the girl who's sitting faced us, I saw Somi smiling widely and Jennie cursed under her breath

"What are you doing here.. Hi Matthew it's nice to see you" I said hugging Somi to greet her while Jennie just stopped there but she walks towards Matthew to greet him after a few seconds.

"Since you didn't hang out with me Dad asked me to come with him so I wouldn't get bored but I didn't know that you'll be here" she said chuckling as we heard Jennie clear her throat

"Can we start now? " she said coldly and Jennie's dad agreed while taking a seat on the opposite side.

Jennie walks towards the front with the PowerPoint on as she started discussing her business and stuff. Somi's dad is intently listening while Somi just started talking to me but she keeps her tone low so it wouldn't ruin the meeting. The meeting's going on for half an hour and Jennie's still talking while Somi's dad asks from time to time and here's Somi just laughing at my stories and stuff. I didn't even know that Jennie already take a seat right next to me after her talk and her secretary's the one in front now. I look over at her for a second then put my gaze back to Somi.

After a couple of minutes, I felt a cold thing on my hand so I looked down seeing Jennie sliding her hand on mine and she intertwined our hands together. I look up at her face and she's still focusing on the meeting.

"What is this? " I asked still looking at her but I just whispered it so it'll be the two of us who can hear it

"You're my girlfriend what's wrong with holding your hand? " she said in a loud tone enough for Somi to hear which made me turn red and I felt her squeeze my hand as she put it on top of her lap and stayed like that for the rest of the meeting
