The next day, Team Garcia asks for the match to be a four on four match with immediate switch-outs. The winner will be the team with the most wins. Their first opponent is Enzo Garcia who didn't appear for the other matches.

"I won't run from you....We are gonna accept the challenge (shocks the others) and for that Gen...just like we decided yesterday... you're gonna take my place", said Yu.

"Yu....", said Gen.

"Please Gen...you wanted to battle too as you are also part of the team (Gen was stunned as Yu hugged her) You can do it, Gen...", said Yu looking at her which made her smile. She kneels down and holds Yu's shoulder.

"I will do it...(gets up and faces the Garcias) Instead of Yu, I am gonna face you, Enzo...so get ready", said Gen as she went into the stadium.

"Go get him, Gen!", said Gingka.

"We are counting on you, Gen!", said Masamune. Gen takes her spot and brings out her launcher.

"So I guess this is your first tournament match. Awesome huh", said Enzo.

"Yeah yeah...It's gonna be awesome when I defeat you and pay for what you did to Yu", said Gen.

3,2,1 Let it rip! Both of them launched their beys into the stadium.

"Go Accalia, go!", said Gen as Accalia goes towards Enzo's bey.

"Amazing huh, you got some spirit for a girl...but...too bad you are gonna waste it", said Enzo as his bey goes towards Accalia but jumps over Accalia.

"What?", said Gen. Gasher continues to jump from Accalia. But finally Accalia hits Gasher and Gashes gets hit by the walls of the stadium.

"Oh my...run away Ray Gasher!", said Enzo

"I won't allow it, Accalia!", said Gen as Accalia runs after Gasher and hits it continuously.

"You are easy peesy like I expected...", said Gen.

"Oh really?", said Enzo which amazes Gen as Gasher hits Accalia from the top continuously.

"Accalia...move away!", said Gen as Accalia tried but couldn't. Gen was in lost. Soon Accalia start to weak its power.

"Oh no, with that hit, Accalia's spin is slowing down, if that goes on, Accalia will stop spinning....", said Madoka.

"What?", exclaimed Gingka.

"Don't have any final words to say? Guess not...and you call yourself...what's the name...Gen Hagane...that does not even suite you...you are a weak blader which is not even in the same level as your brother...I don't know why the WBBA chose you to go with them....is it because they wanted to embarrass you in front of the world...(laughs) You are just so weak I tell you and you will soon lose...", said Enzo.

"(laughs back which shocks Enzo) You thought you can make me weak like that, Enzo? Bravo...I appreciate the effort you had put into the speech you just said...but the Gen you heard and saw in the tv is not the Gen I am today...I changed you see...well you wouldn't believe it yourself so why don't we show you our bey spirits, huh?", said Gen as Accalia escapes from Gasher.

Accalia moved around the stadium in fast speed.

"What is she trying to do?", said Masamune.

"What is this? Accalia's speed has suddenly increased? ", said Madoka as she looked into her computer.

"Increased? But how?", asked Gingka.

"I don't know...", said Madoka looking at Gen who was in confidence.

"Whatever it is....Gen! Win it for us!", said Yu. Gasher was on the top and was about to dash into Accalia.

"Amazing huh? Well then I will show you which one of our feelings is the real deal...Special Move Ray Gasher! Slumdog Driver!", said Enzo as Gasher was surrounded by a tornado.

"Accalia special move (Accalia jumps from the stadium and goes near Gasher) Sapphire Pulse Slash", said Gen. Accalia exposed an energy towards Gasher and soon smokes created by the two special moves created smokes covering the stadium. Smokes disappeared and they saw that Enzo's bey was crashed and stopped spinning.

"Huh? Looks like Enzo is out so the victory goes to (sees Accalia spinning) Gen Hagane of team Gan Gan Galaxy", said Blader DJ.

"She won? She won! Gen you won!", said Madoka in excitement.

"Gen, you did it!", said Gingka.

"I won this? (becomes really happy) I won you guys...I did it!", said Gen as she jumped around. but that's when Accalia was hit and out of the stadium by another bey. Gen becomes shocked and sees her bey near her leg.

"You think that you are the only girl who thinks she won already....have you forgotten that it's a knockout battle? ", said Selen from the other team.

"Well she did won. So Gen...you did a good job out there...Let me take care of this brat", said Masamune as he launched his bey Striker to the stadium.

"Okey? Whatever", said Gen as she went away from him and sat with Kenta.

Selen keeps on distracting Masamune and then defeats him.

"How did that happen?", said Masamune freaking out.

"How, he asked us?", asked Tsubasa.

"I've seen that stuff before. Remind you of anyone", said Gingka.

"Yep good old crappy pants himself", said Madoka.

"Too bad, Masamune hasn't had much experience with this kind of cheap battle trick", said Kenta.

"For a while, I thought he was better than my brother...but nope...Unbelievable!", said Gen in sweat drop.

Gingka battles Selen and after a few moves, Selen withdraws from the match. After that he faces Ian. He wins against him but gets a surprise attack from Argo.

"Let's do this thing, Tsubasa! Quit stalling for timing and get out of here", said Argo. Tsubasa jumps in, and believes it to be an easy match since he defeated the dark power. But the power of Ray Gil's the Rubber Semi-Flat performance tip allows Tsubasa's Earth Eagle to be rapidly attacked. Ray Gil's Energy Ring also prevents Tsubasa's use of aerial attacks.

"It's no use...no matter how long you think about it...in the end....that is the limit of your power...and if you want someone to blame...then blame that guy there...the guy who led his guard down, Gingka...you are a guy who couldn't even get a girlfriend...(Tsubasa shocks and Gen astonished) That's right...from that look on your face I can see that the girl who you really love has rejected you recently and I know who she is...you are nothing but Gan Gan Galaxy's number 2, no number 3, you are just a backup blader that's not even good as Yu and fancy pants Kyoya....from the very start you weren't any competition for me...you don't even deserve to be here at all...you are an insult to beyblade", said Argo.

"What did you say?", said Tsubasa as his eyes turned red.

"Don't listen to him, Tsubasa! (Tsubasa becomes normal and looks at Gen who was standing on top of her seat) He's just trying to win by distracting you and you know it...You are nothing like what he mentioned...You are better than him...a guy like Argo is a scaredy cat who is afraid of losing...you can win this, Tsubasa with your own power!", said Gen in boldness.

"Gen?"

"We believe in you Tsubasa!", said Gingka.

"You won't lose but don't defeat yourself", said Yu.

"But you're gonna win and take us to the final, okay?", said Masamune.

"Really guys?", asked Tsubasa.

"We made a promise that we would combine our strengths to become no. 1 in the world together", said Gingka.

"We climbed bigger mountains than this old buddy so don't forget it", said Yu.

"Remember you won against the dark power..this is a walk in the park", said Madoka.

"Okay then I know my friends are right...Time to pay up..to show them that I am worth their efforts and trust...here we go, Eagle!", said Tsubasa as Eagle flew towards the sky avoiding Ray Gil's attacks.

"Waste of time...there can be only one winner and that's us, the Garcias", said Argo.

"Do it now! Go Eagle Counter Stance!', said Tsubasa as Eagle hits Ray Gil.

"You can do it, Tsubasa...I know you can", said Gen in her mind.

Using his special move Shining Tornado Buster, Tsubasa finally defeats Argo leading Team Gan-Gan Galaxy to the championships, much to Argo's dismay.

"Yeah baby", said Gingka.

"Tsubasa won it!", said Masamune.

"So We win?", asked Yu.

"We are going to the finals", said Madoka.

They went towards Tsubasa.

"Well done, Tsubasa....(patting Tsubasa's shoulder) I always knew you had it in you...I've said it all along old buddy", said Masamune.

"What?! First I've heard of it...(faces Tsubasa) You were so cool, Tsubasa", said Yu with a smile.

"Thank you everyone", said Tsubasa looking at them. He then looks at the crowd and sees Kenta waving at him and realized that Gen was not with him.

"Huh? Where did she go?", thought Tsubasa in his mind. So...after the whole rush about the match has finished,everyone swarming around him and congragulating him,Tsubasa decides to head out to search for her. But unexpectedly he sees Gen standing there. She sees him coming.

"Hey Tsubasa! Congratulations! I thought I'd wait for you because of the whole crowd there.", said Gen with a smile. Tsubasa smiles and thanks her, finally at peace. He thinks for a moment, hesitating.

"Would you...umm...want to head to the hotel with me? I was thinking to go and wait at the airport earlier since there's nothing else to do....", asked Tsubasa. Gen smiles at him

"Yeah,I'd love to. Gingka asked me if I wanted to go out and celebrate with the team but I told them to go and have fun since I wasn't feeling up for it", she said.

Tsubasa's heart leaps inwardly, feeling kind of glad that she wanted to go with him. They walk out together in the direction of the hotel. They were both silent and Tsubasa suddenly remembers about the necklace that he'd got her, which he which he had forgotten about during the match. He looked at her and worried whether she'd like it or not. As soon as he started getting uneasy over it, she suddenly took his hand.

"Tsubasa,look up.It's so beautiful.", said Gen.

Tsubasa,suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and momentarily shocked that she took his hand in hers.

"What? Look where?", he said.

"(Laughs) Where were you this whole time? Look up"

Tsubasa looked up and suddenly forgot all about his nervousness and his worries as he was greeted with the most beautiful sight ever, It was as if the heavens were smiling upon them today. The sky looked like someone had painted it,with a million different shades of blue,crimson,red,orange,pink and whatnot. Almost like it was just made for them,that particular morning.Then,under that beautiful sky, Tsubasa,looking at Gen, who was also lost in the magic above her,felt as if he were invincible and it had made his day. So...after he took in the beautiful canvas of the sky above them, Tsubasa thought to himself that this would be the perfect time to give Gen the necklace. He slowly took it out of his pocket.It was put in a small pouch that he'd got along with the necklace with a small gold tie around it. He looked at Gen, thinking of where to start. Gen,feeling Tsubasa's eyes on her,looked at him.

"Huh? What's up? I've been catching you staring at me a lot lately. Is there something on my face?", said Gen as Tsubasa suddenly blushed all over and looked down. He laughed awkardly.

"Umm...No! There's nothing wrong with your face.You look as beautiful as ever (Gen raised her eyebrows at him.He suddenly corrected himself) Uh.Oh,no,no. Not like that..."

"Oh,so you don't think I'm pretty?"

Tsubasa, suddenly feeling nervous and trapped all of a sudden.

"No,no,no.That's not what I said..."

"(Laughs and Tsubasa shocks) Relax, Tsubasa, I was just messing with you...man, you take everything seriously....", said Gen with a smile. Tsubasa, relieved, also starts laughing with her in an awkward.

"Oh you caught me there...nice job, Gen...I knew you always joke around...(Gen stops laughing and looks at him) that's not what I said...yeesh....I should have practised before talking like this..."

"Huh? Practised what?"

"(Shocks) Practised....ummm.... (takes out the necklace box and shows it to her, he faces down in embarrassment) Just take this from me...", said Tsubasa facing down.

"Huh? For me?"

"I wanted to give you this when I got back to Japan but it didn't happen...so i thought of giving it know...", said Tsubasa still facing down. Gen takes it from his hand and opens it. She sees a pendant of Accalia. Tsubasa looks up and sees her.

"Wow...where did you get this?", asked Gen.

"Well ...we were at Greece and Madoka wanted to shop so I went with her...I saw this and I thought of buying it for you...."

"You didn't have to do that? I mean why would you?"

"It's my way of saying thank you...for helping me overcome the dark power and getting along with the gang...if you hadn't been there...I don't know how I would have gone through now...."

"No..thank you, Tsubasa...(he looks at her) it's because of you that I battled today and won...(wears the necklace) I usually don't wear necklaces to be honest but I think with this...I could make it a habit...", said Gen with a smile.

"You like it?", asked Tsubasa.

"Yeah I do...and that too a pendant of Accalia...it's totally out of the box...but you know what...I never thought of saying this...but I actually like hanging out with people like you (Tsubasa shocks) You remind me a little of my mom...and talking to you is like talking to her you know...So (shows him a fist bump) let's be best of friends forever", said Gen showing her fist towards him. Tsubasa shocks and smiles. He does a fist bump with her.

"Yeah...best friends forever", said Tsubasa with a weak smile. Gen smiles.

"Oh wait a minute...Gingka did say that he would buy me a cup of ice cream...oh boy! I forgot about that....let's go, Tsubasa", said Gen as she went forward in shock. Tsubasa smiles and looks down.

"Friends huh? I guess Gen and I....are really meant to be friends from the start...not something else...", said Tsubasa.

"Hey Tsubasa! (Looks at her) let's go...or else we won't get the ice cream", said Gen.

"(Smiles) yeah I coming...", said Tsubasa as he went with her.
