Gen, Tsubasa, Yu and Madoka continue to walk through the corridors.

"Tsubasa (Tsubasa looks at Madoka) there is something I wanted to talk to you about...", said Madoka quietly.

"What is it?", asked Tsubasa.

"Its about Gen...I think I know why she was not feeling well...when she used Sapphire Pulse Slash, her eye colour turned red and her white part turned black and then veins came out near her eyes and that too the colour was black...I think it causes her stress that way", said Madoka.

"(Shocks) What? Are you sure what you saw was true?", asked Tsubasa.

"Do you think I am joking? I just hope it isn't that thing again..."

"What thing?"

"The dark power..."

"What makes you say that, Gen removed it...there is no way that is possible..."

"You are right but...one thing I observed that when you were in the dark power, your eyes turned red so..."

"So you claim it is the dark power? Come on, Madoka....if she still has it, then she would have gone through a rampage...since that didn't happen, then it means something else..."

"I guess...I must be dreaming...", said Madoka looking down.

"Are we almost there, Madoka?", asked Yu which made Madoka and Tsubasa look at them.

"For the last time, No! Don't ask me again and again...its irritating", said Madoka.

"Be patient Yu...she said we will reach", said Tsubasa.

"Yeah...but my legs hurt", said Yu as he stops. Gen, Tsubasa and Madoka also stops.

"I guess we could take a 5-min break...my legs too hurt..", said Gen.

"We don't have time for that...if we take breaks, then we won't be reach on time...", said Tsubasa.

"Tsubasa is right, so let's keep moving", said Madoka.

"Oh come on!", exclaimed Gen and Yu.

"Knock it off, you guys...", said Madoka in anger.

"It's not our fault that you are not feeling pain in your legs...which means you are a robot you know and we both are humans", said Yu.

"What did you say? You take that back, Yu! Or you are gonna pay..."

"By what? By battling me? Because you don't have a bey... so I am right" Yu and Madoka continue to argue. Tsubasa does a sweat drop.

"Seriously? You guys are truly unbelievable", said Tsubasa. Gen smells something and suddenly sneezes.

"Huh? That's strange...(she looks at her shoulder and sees dust particles over) Dust particles? (looks up and sees the roof broken) No...umm...you guys!", said Gen.

"What?", exclaimed Madoka and Yu. The roof broke and Gen pulls Tsubasa towards her side and Yu pulls Madoka towards his side. They were separated from each other.

"Yu? Madoka? Are you guys okay?", asked Gen.

"Yeah...we are...what about you and Tsubasa?", asked Madoka.

"We are totally okay...now what do we do?", asked Tsubasa.

"I guess we have to split up", said Gen.

"Wait...they are not coming with us?", asked Yu.

"Do you think they will come? Yu, open your eyes....there is wall of broken roof pieces in front of you...and besides we would have been together if you didn't stop for break at the first place", said Madoka.

"Say what?", asked Yu in anger.

"Guys? Can we do this later?", said Tsubasa.

"We will meet up at the spiral core I guess....", said Gen. Suddenly they heard footsteps on the way.

"We have to go...I think we are gonna be found...Madoka and Yu, let's meet up at the spiral core just like Gen said....so be careful", said Tsubasa.

"Okay...you guys too take care of yourselves...", said Madoka as she and Yu went the opposite direction. Tsubasa and Gen ran from the spot.

"There they are! (Tsubasa and Gen notices them) Get them!", said a group of members who was in front of them. They launched their beys towards them.

"Let it Rip!", said Gen as she launched Accalia towards them and defeated all of them. All the members fell down. Tsubasa stares at her seriously.

"What? I wanted to battle too you know", said Gen annoyed.

"Well..I can't blame you for that...", said Tsubasa.

"Then why did you (feels pain in her hand) Man, that hurt" , said Gen holding her hand.

"Hey...are you okay?", asked Tsubasa.

"I am fine...sheesh! I thought it got recovered..."

"You weren't fully recovered?"

"(laughs weirdly) Yeah..."

"I heard something...."

They suddenly hear footsteps.

"Uh-oh. From the sound of it, there're many more coming. Let's go", said Gen. They start running forward. After running for a short while, Tsubasa spots a lonely corner and on rounding it, they see a large door.

"Here, come on. We can wait it out behind this door until they leave", said Tsubasa as they get behind the door, which apparently led to a huge endless corridor. They shut the door slightly and turned around to scout the surroundings. It seemed like it was an abandoned section. Gen, trying to break the almost creepy silence and also making an effort at reducing the tension of the moment a little.

"(sighs) You're welcome.", she said which Tsubasa slowly looks back at her and making a weird face.

"For what?", he asked.

"Uh, hello. Knock, knock. That was called "saving your life" back there"

"(smirks) Yeah, well , thanks. Weird though, right? That we always end up with each other in every situation?"

"Yeah, well, somebody's gotta stay with you and keep you from doing stupid stuff"

"(scoffs in a amused manner) Oh, yeah? We're talking about stupid now, huh? Says the girl who tripped on every plain and flat ground without even the slightest bit of obstacle there"

"Hey, there was something there ,okay?"

"Yeah? And what was that? The ground?"

"Nope. My shoelaces.", said Gen as she looks at Tsubasa and raises an eyebrow as if saying, "How's that?" and a moment later they both start laughing.

"Shh. Quiet down. They'll hear us.", said Gen. They become quiet.

"Now that I've mentioned it, I think it's time we had a proper look at that sprain. You weren't doing very well with it when you fought the other members. And I gotta say, that was pretty impressive. How can a person be able to handle so many men all at once and not look after her hand?", said Tsubasa as Gen laughs holding out her sprained wrist

"Turns out every single person doesn't need your help. And you're never gonna let me off the hook about the sprain thing, huh?"

Tsubasa smiles and approaches to her. He then takes her hand in his and rolling up her sleeve.

"You bet not", he said. Gen's wrist looked worse than before. The sprained region was red and swollen. And some parts were even blue-ish. Gen noticed Tsubasa looking tense and worried

"Well, my wrist officially looks like a red-and-blue toad, Like the flag of America. It's approaching the elephant stage, safe to say. But you don't need to be worried about it..I am fine", said Gen.

"No, that's really serious....I think we'll have to tape that up. Do you have a band-aid or a plaster or something?"

"Um, I don't know. Do people usually pack a plaster while going on a secret raid to scope out Hades city to find the Spiral core?"

"(laughs) That's no, I guess....Honestly, I have no idea what to do. Although I can say that the swelling is probably not a good thing."

"Oh, come on, Tsubasa, lighten up, for the last time, don't worry. When we get out of here, I can go see a doctor and this'll get fixed up in a heartbeat. Not that big of a deal...Although I have to say, you make a pretty terrible doctor", said Gen in sweat drop.

"Yeah, that's true. But...oooh..... I think I know what to do next...for now.", said Tsubasa as he takes a handkerchief and gently wraps Gen's hand in it until it's tied up nice and tight.

"Getting chivalrous, now, are we?", she said.

"Yeah, well, someone's gotta do it, right? I'm not the only person who does stupid stuff. You're actually quite good at it.", said Tsubasa as she laughs.

"Yeah, we're pretty good at that by now. Fishing each other out of danger."

"Yeah I guess we make a pretty good team....okay...I think this would do the trick..."

"(looking at her hand) Somehow, I feel much better....(looks at the handkerchief and becomes shocked) wait...this handkerchief...is this mine? The one that I gave you when you got hurt that day when we escaped from the Dark Nebula?", asked Gen which shocks Tsubasa.

"Well...yeah?...I wanted to give this to you when my wound was completely healed...but people would think that I am weird giving you a handkerchief as a gift so I kept it with me...slowly I forgot about it and when you got hurt now, I thought maybe using it and really giving it to you back...."

"Wow...you are really better than Gingka...I mean once he takes a thing of mine, he wouldn't care to return it, that scarf he wears now, that's actually mine you know...but anyways...leave that naughty brother of mine out of this...", said Gen with a smile.

"Can I ask you something?", Tsubasa asked.

"What is it?"

"Well...I heard from the director that you visited me everyday in the hospital..."

"Oh that....I was hoping you would wake up...so I checked in everyday..."

"But why?"

"Well...we did promise each other about the hangout after the finals...so that's why...I thought you forgot so I didn't know how to ask you about it....but hey you know what maybe after we stop the spiral core, we could hangout with each other..."

"You really want that?"

"Why are you so serious? It's like you don't want to hangout with me..."

"What no! I thought you were so concentrated in battling with Accalia...you would forget about it..."

"Battling with Accalia is not the only thing I have in mind, Tsubasa...I have another thing called friendship which is also important....", said Gen.

"Wow....There are times that you can be so unpredictable...", said Tsubasa.

"Well my opinions do differ from time to time because that's how I roll...", said Gen with a smile.

"That's something great...", said Tsubasa looking down.

"(looks at him) What's wrong?", asked Gen.

"Well...that battle with Jack reminded me of something...something about the final battle...It was fun to watch it, wasn't it?"

"Fun to watch? Yeah...well Masamune lost the first round, and then Gingka was gonna face Jack but Ryuga popped in and you know the rest, Ryuga defeated him and then finally my brother gave the team the victory by crushing (Tsubasa was looking sad which was noticed by Gen) you really missed the fun...but don't be sad about it...even I couldn't get the chance to battle..."

"At least you saw it with your very own eyes...I got to know about it when I woke up..."

"Tsubasa....I am really sorry..."

"No, it's okay....when I got a chance to be in the team, all I wanted was to battle on that stage in front of millions of people....unfortunately it never happened...but I don't feel bad about it anymore...", said Tsubasa with a weak smile. Gen looks down but then she realizes something. She takes the medal out of her skirt's pocket and glanced at it.

"Here...(Tsubasa looks at her as she shows the medal) take this, Tsubasa..."

"What is that?"

"Oh this...Well it's the medal that I got for winning the world tournaments...I didn't even get to battle in the finals but Masamune, Gingka and Madoka insisted me on taking it since I battled for you guys with the Brazilian team...but you battled throughout for the team, I just came in the middle of it and the medal, you deserved it...so please....just take it...", said Gen showing it to Tsubasa who shocks again.

"What? I...I can't take it...what about you? It's yours..."

"It was never meant to be mine...and another reason why I came to meet you everyday at the hospital, is because I wanted to give you...I knew you would be sad so to not make things worse for you, just accept this from me...", said Gen with a smile. Tsubasa shocks but then he takes it. He looks at it shining so bright.

"Thank you...I will take care of it", said Tsubasa.

"Yeah, yeah...just promise me you won't get sad...Well then...I guess the enemies have left the territory...I think I see some light over there...looks like we found the spiral core....hope Madoka and Yu are there too", said Gen.

"Huh? I guess they will be...",

"Okay then...let's go..."

"Wait (Gen stops)...thank you"

"Why are you thanking me every time? Sheesh! Like I said I don't get you sometimes...if I hear another thank you from your mouth again, I will kill you..."

"There is no way you would do that to me, will you?"

"There will be consequences for that...let's just go...and don't say that word again...got it?"

"Yeah...", said Tsubasa as they walked near the light.

"Hey...Tsubasa...what is it that you like about me? (Tsubasa starts to blush) I've heard from that you have a secret crush on me (Tsubasa blushes even more and Gen looks at him) is that true?"

"Who told you that? (Gen looks seriously at him) I don't have it...I mean you are the type of girl who loves battling with Accalia more...I don't have a crush on you...."

"Oh really? Then why the heck are you blushing?"

"(shocks) Huh? It's no reason...(laughs weirdly) Is it wrong to blush? You blush too when someone mentions Kyoya..."

"Huh? I don't have a crush on him because he is not the type of guy for it....and another reason why I don't have it is because I have a crush on you, Tsubasa (Tsubasa shocks and Gen does not realize what she said and keeps talking) Sheesh! People don't get me...(looks at Tsubasa who was in shock) Now what's happened to you?", asked Gen.

"Did you really mean what you said?"

"About what?"

"That....(looks down) You have a crush on me?", asked Tsubasa.

"Crush on you (remembers that she said that and starts to blush) I didn't say that...what are you hearing Tsubasa? Like I said I don't have time for it...all I wanted now is to become stronger with Accalia...."

"I guess I heard it wrong (Gen looks at him) Let's just keep going...", said Tsubasa as he went forward. Gen becomes sad. She later catches up with him. Tsubasa was sad for a while. Gen looks at him and then looks away.

"Thank you...(Tsubasa looks at him) for making my hand feel better...I forgot to tell you that before...and it was completely wrong from my side..."

"No...that's fine...", said Tsubasa looking forward and walking. Gen looks at him and suddenly she remembers what her father said to her.

"A guy like Tsubasa is one in a million, Gen...so just remember that"

"I guess Dad is right, Tsubasa is unique in a different way and that's why....that's why I think...I really love Tsubasa now...I just can't stop looking at him...okay snap out of it, Gen...you know what Ryuga said...don't fall in love with him...I have to keep my word...if this curse ends someday, that's when I will tell him how I feel...till then Tsubasa, you have to wait or...I guess...move on? I am sure he won't do that...because he still blushes when my name pops up...okay, no time to worry about that...we will deal with this later...focus Gen", said Gen in her mind looking forward. They reached a door and opened it. The room was filled with red colour as they entered the room. At the middle, they saw a beam of energy coming out from the roof. But only the two of them were there.

"Looks like we are the first ones to reach...I hope the others are fine...", said Tsubasa looking around.

"Its not the place, Tsubasa...."

"Huh? This isn't the place, come on, you are not joking right?"

"I am not...we found out the main part of it....if it is, then that Faust guy a.k.a Masamune's friend Toby should be here...at the day of victory party, the day Ziggurat showed the miraculous spiral core, Toby was there controlling it with a bey called the Twisted Tempo..."

"I guess you have a point there....so where is the real spiral core?"

"Hmm...(finds a lift) I think I know....the lift, I think it could take us there...the others must be there...let's go...", said Gen going near the lift. But then suddenly a beam of electricity was about to struck Gen which was noticed by Tsubasa.

"GEN?! LOOK OUT!", shouted Tsubasa as Gen turned around. Tsubasa pulls her towards her and she is now safe. But Gen was hugging him as she was scared. Tsubasa shocks and starts to blush.

"Umm...Gen...it's gone...", said Tsubasa still blushing. Gen snaps out of it and moves away from him.

"I...got...scared...don't tell anyone about this....thank you?", said Gen blushing and looking away.

"Yeah...let's go...", said Tsubasa as they went inside the lift. The lift went up and there was complete silence between the two. Gen peeks at him but then looks away. Suddenly the door opened and they saw Ziggurat trying to get in.

"Hey...where do you think you are getting in, pal?", asked Gen in anger.

"What? Where did you come from?", asked Ziggurat.

"Gen? Tsubasa...", exclaimed the others.

"You guys are here after all...what's going on here?", asked Tsubasa looking around.

"There is an elevator? Where does that take, Gen?", asked Gingka coming near them.

"The main source....why you ask?", asked Gen.

"Madoka come with me...", said Gingka as they both get in the elevator.

"Huh? Hey wait a minute? Thats the dead end...why are going there for?", asked Tsubasa.

"The world is going to burned completely dust soon...in other words, we are gonna die!", said Madoka which shocks both of them.

"We are gonna die?! I can't die too young you know...and I won't be sharing my bed with you, Gingka in the R.I.P section if you didn't save us all...", said Gen which made Tsubasa in sweat drop.

"Well who asked for it? I am not gonna share my bed with you either because you are a meanie....", said Gingka.

"What did you say?", asked Gen.

"Guys?! We don't have time for who is gonna sleep in whose bed when we are all dead...Gingka, let's go...", said Madoka.

"I guess we went overboard...Gingka, good luck...", said Gen.

"Yeah..you won't regret it...", said Gingka as the lift closes. Kyoya, Gen, Tsubasa, and Yu go to leave the building. Galaxy Pegasus continues to absorb energy, but starts to shatter from it. Meteo L-Drago LW105LF comes through the wall and Ryuga has L-Drago to help stop the Spiral Core. Pegasus strength comes back and raises into the galaxy to releases the energy. Striker, Byxis, and Tempo stop spinning and the power from the arrangement leaves Faust's body and passes out. Masamune and Zeo run to him and Toby turns back to normal. Kyoya, Tsubasa, and Yu run into Gingka & Madoka and they leave the building. Masamune, Zeo, and Toby come out to and Kenta and the others are outside as well. Pegasus comes back and lands in Gingka's hand badly damage.

"Tsubasa, is it just me or is it Gingky that left us in the dark again? Kind of shakes my undies...", asked Yu annoyed.

"Well then how about going on a training journey then?", asked Tsubasa.

"That's so awesome...hey, Sora, you want to come with us? It would be awesome to practise you since you have a Pegasus...what do you say?", said Yu.

"Me? Sure why not...it would be awesome...especially with you guys", said Sora in excitement. Tsubasa realizes that the hangout he promised Gen about it.
