After a while, Masamune, Gen and Tsubasa reach Masamune's apartment.

"You live in an apartment? Wow...that's so cool!", said Gen who was excited.

"Huh? You know you do live in the WBBA HQ right?", asked Tsubasa.

"Yeah I know and it's really boring...but this apartment is way cooler than that..."

"Says the girl who was so amazed when she saw the place she lives for the first time...(Gen shocks) I still haven't forgotton the moment where you ran into the place and bought a lot of ice creams and had a big talk with its members..."

"Gen did all that? Whoa....that's some slack, Gen...", said Masamune.

"Slack? I was just excited to see a standard building because I lived in a village and we weren't supposed to talk about that now...", said Gen looking at Tsubasa in anger.

"Well I thought maybe Masamune should just know some of the craziest things that you did...after all he is more than a friend to you...(Gen shocks and Tsubasa whispers) Your welcome...", said Tsubasa as he withdraw from her and Gen blushes.

"I don't know what is happening here...but let's go..my mom must be waiting for me...she would be so happy to meet you guys...come on...", said Masamune as he go inside the apartment.

"What were you thinking?", asked Gen to Tsubasa.

"I was trying to help so that you won't be stuck around him like now...a 'thank you' would be enough you know...", said Tsubasa annoyed as he went forward.

"A thank you? So you want me to be with Masamune?! Are you kidding me? Maybe he's just jealous....", thought Gen. They reached Masamune's flat and Masamune opens the door. They went inside and looked around the surrounding.

"Welcome to my home sweet home!", said Masamune.

"Masamune, is that you?", said a voice.

"Yeah Mom!", said Masamune. Masamune's mom comes near them. She looks like Masamune except with long hair.

"Oh....I didn't know we were having guests today, Masamune...", said Masamune's mom.

"Yeah it was kind of last minute, Mom...you see they don't have anywhere to stay and were worried...so I thought of maybe staying with us (Gen looks at him weirdly which Masamune noticed)...anyways...this is Gen Hagane and Tsubasa Ootori...", said Masamune showing them.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs Kadoya..", said Gen with a smile.

"Gen Hagane? Wait a minute....is this the girl that you were secretly crushing on, Masamune? (Masamune and Gen shocks) I must say she is one pretty girl...", said Mrs Kadoya.

"Mom! (looks at Gen) Look, Gen what you heard from my mom...it's not the truth...really I mean it...", said Masamune who was blushing.

"I didn't know.... Masamune has a crush on me? That's something new to hear from Masamune...", said Gen as she looks at Tsubasa who shows a thumb-up.

"For the last time...it's not the truth...", said Masamune blushing.

"Well Masamune is just too late for everything like always...because of that, look at them, Masamune...she got a better boyfriend than you...if you have told her how you feel, you would have been Tsubasa's place...", said Mrs Kadoya which shocked Gen and Tsubasa. They look at each other and starts to blush. Then they look away.

"What?! We are not dating, Mrs Kadoya...we are just friends just like I am friends with Masamune...nothing more, nothing less", said Gen blushing.

"Yeah...She is right, Mrs Kadoya...she is not my girlfriend or I am not her boyfriend...we are friends...", said Tsubasa blushing too.

"But you both look cute as a couple...well if in case, she is telling the truth then (hits Masamune on his shoulder) Masamune, looks like you got a shot at impressing her...", said Mrs Kadoya which made Masamune angry and blush again.

"Mom! Stop it already! (turns towards Tsubasa and Gen who was still blushing away from each other) Why don't you guys go change into your night clothes...Gen can go that room and Tsubasa you can go the other room which is my room...by the time, I will have A WORD WITH MY MOM ABOUT TODAY", said Masamune looking angry at his mom.

So they changed into their night clothes and sat for dinner.

"Thank you for the food, Mrs Kadoya...", said Tsubasa.

"Your welcome, Tsubasa...can't you be like him, (slaps Masamune's back) Masamune? You never appreciate my food...and I can't believe I got a useless son like you", said Mrs Kadoya.

"Mom?! Stop embarrassing me like that...", said Masamune which made Gen laugh.

"Why are you laughing, Gen?", asked Masamune.

"Does this happen every time, Mrs Kadoya? Because this isn't new to me...", said Gen who chuckles.

"What do you mean "it's not new to you"?", asked Tsubasa.

"My mom...she used to shout at Gingka just like Mrs Kadoya shouts at Masamune...it never gets old...I wonder whether Masamune and Gingka are really twins and I am reallly the only child...if that's the case, then my life would be awesome....", said Gen eating her food.

"So this happens in your house too? Well I would love to meet your mom one day, Gen...", said Mrs Kadoya which made Gen sad.

"Oh...I wish that could happen too but.... I believe you can't, Mrs Kadoya (Mrs Kadoya looks at her) My mom passed away 6 years ago...", said Gen looking down which made Tsubasa sad too.

"Oh my...I am sorry for your loss..."

"Nah its fine...(she smiles) because even though she died, she is here within my heart and her dream is now my dream...to be the strongest girl blader in the world and motivate other girls to beyblade...(takes out Accalia) I realized that after (she looks at Tsubasa) a certain someone picked me out from the darkness I once had...", said Gen as she smiled at Tsubasa who was shocked but then smiled too.

"That's some determination, Gen...hear that Masamune, can't you do something like that instead of calling yourself the no 1 blader?", said Mrs Kadoya which shocks Masamune.

"Mom?! Seriously?!", said Masamune in embarrassment as the three laughed. After that, Gen was about to get out of the flat.

"Gen? (she turns around and sees Tsubasa) Where are you going?", asked Tsubasa.

"Well..I am gonna train with Accalia...I need to be prepared for tomorrow's match....", said Gen with a smile.

"You are gonna train now? Then I will come too..."

"No, no, no! I want to try something out by myself...let's say it could surprise you too...after all the final battle, we would be rivals too right?", said Gen with a smile.

"Surprise me? Yeah I guess you're right...but for your information, I have been putting up a special move up my sleeve..."

"Wait...seriously?! That's awesome...well I will be expecting it so don't loose in the first match..."

"Yeah like that would happen....anyways, maybe if you want, I could take notes on Masamune you know...", said Tsubasa as Gen shocks.

"Huh? No, You don't need to do that...I know him so its fine, Tsubasa...he is like my brother in all ways and plus I got to know a lot from not battling today....I already prepared my speech on yo-Masamune...so I don't think I need help...", said Gen laughing weirdly.

"You don't need my help anymore? Oh (looks down) I see...I guess you are finally gonna tell him how you feel within tomorrow?", said Tsubasa looking down.

"(looks down) I guess...and besides I have a little present for him too...I don't know if it would work out but people like presents..."

"A present too? Wow...", said Tsubasa in sadness.

"Anyways...I got to go...Accalia would be sad if it didn't get training....so see you later, Tsubasa...and don't come looking for me...it's a request...", said Gen as she leaves the flat. Tsubasa looks sad.

"Oh hey Tsubasa! (Tsubasa turns around and sees Masamune) Why were looking so gloomy over there and where is Gen? I wanted to tell her about the new beyblade video game that I bought....", said Masamune looking around.

"Beyblade video game?", asked Tsubasa.

"You don't know about it?! Oh my gosh....its the famous game created by the WBBA, two volumes of it were published before....me and Gen play that almost everyday you know and its the coolest..."

"Wait...Gen plays video games? For real? And the WBBA is the one who created it?"

"Yep...and the 3rd volume just published yesterday, so I bought it since its main headquarters is here in America, I did call Gen but that's when I got the info that Gen was on a training journey...I thought of playing with her today....besides where did she run off to?"

"Oh...she just wanted to be ready for tomorrow's battle...so she went to train with Accalia..."

"Huh? Oh man...now who will I play with? The reason why I bought her here was to give her a surprise about the new video game..."

"You brought us here just to show her the new video game?"

"Of course! She is a really big fan of the game just like me...and I came to know about it after the spiral core event...sheesh...now what will I do?...(gets an idea) hey Tsubasa, you wanna play?"

"Me?"

"Yep...its fun, its like battling with a bey, we can control its movement through a game controller...isn't that cool? "

"Huh? Hmm...I guess by the sound of you saying its fun and even Gen playing it, maybe I will give it a try...", said Tsubasa with a smile.

"Boom baby! Then let's go to my room...", said Masamune.

Gen battles with Accalia in a park.

"Accalia! Special move! Sapphire Pulse Slash!", said Gen as Accalia did the special move and hit a lot of cups. She takes Accalia and looks at it. And then observes her hand.

"My nails are not growing and (touches her cheek) neither is my veins coming out near my eyes anymore...Hmm...I guess the curse is going away...the more power the special move is, soon the curse will be gone for sure and then I won't be able to transform into a demon...so I guess that case will be closed and solved...yay! Now I can use the special move during tomorrow's match without transforming...", said Gen.

She keeps Accalia inside her pocket but another thing slips off from her pocket and falls on the ground. Gen looks down and sees. It was the bracelet that she bought for Tsubasa during the journey. She takes it and observes it.

"Oh man, just when one problem is done for, I have another one hanging on the cliff...now how will I tell Tsubasa how I feel? Why does love has to be so hard? ", said Gen looking at the bracelet.

"Well, well, well (Gen shocks and turns around) what do we have here? I never expected a special face tonight?"

It was Zeo who was coming near her.

"Zeo? ", said Gen as she hid the bracelet behind her back. Zeo notices her sudden movements.

"So I guess you came training here because you didn't battle with us today, huh?"

"Umm...yeah...I like to keep things...umm...a surprise...I don't want anyone to know about everything of my bey...", said Gen weirdly.

"Oh I see...that's something interesting to hear...but I know for a fact that you always accept battles even if the opponent knows about you and your bey...(Gen shocks) So I guess...you're really hiding something..."

"What?! Me? No way...I am not hiding anything...pff...I say the truth all the time...that's who I am...and why would you think that I am hiding something and what exactly do you think? (Zeo was about to say something)....See you don't know anything...so don't assume things...see you later, Zeo", said Gen as she walked one step ahead.

"You love Tsubasa, is that what you are hiding?" Gen stops and turns around to see Zeo smiling in confidence.
