Our Shattered Realms
*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense. Hospital equipment failed, cars stopped in the middle of the street, planes fell from the sky, and homework was lost at the worst possible moment. We found out that it was just the flicker and hum of The System warming up. Now we see the true cost of our new world. A Dark comedy that focuses on a few of the many people who aren't stuck in a high level dungeon when our world is translated and joined to Our Shattered Realms. Adventurers keep visiting his island because it is the uncharted place at the center of the four main continents. Many adventurers from different nation of those continents keeps intruding the island. The problem is that guardians always wiping them out, which planted a curiosity on the other adventurers. And the cycles goes on. To solve this, he asked the guardians spare them unharmed and tell them to stop their foolishness. One day another group of adventurers again trespass the island. Unable to keep reading because of the change weather which caused by a guardian beast. He decided go out of his domain (the 9 region-center of the island) to see how the guardian beast will act. But he saw what kind people truly an adventurer is. He decided to kill all of them but spare one. Making a messenger to those will try again to intrude. Will he be able to achieve peace he was looking for or there's going to be another problem will he encounter. I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character. All the content warnings are checked since I want to leave my options open to me for the future. I hope you enjoy.
