23rd July Sunday
Ginny walked into the kitchen to see Draco Malfoy sitting at a table on his own. He was leaning back reading the Daily Prophet while eating an Apple.
She marched over and sat across from him. He looked startled. 'Malfoy.' She said.
'Weaslette' He furrowed his eyebrows.
'Have you kissed anyone?' She said straight to the point.
He smirked 'ever? Yes, I think I have'.
Ginny rolled her eyes. 'No. Here, have you kissed anyone here?'
Draco shook his head 'why?'
Ginny raised her eyebrow 'just because 'Mione told me all about what happened on your date' She babbled.
'She what???' He exclaimed 'What did she say??'
'She told me about the whole boat on a lake and that you two were talking and that you were soo close to kissing, And then she backed away.' Ginny lied. She wasn't gonna tell Draco she knew they kissed.
'Oh right, Yeah' he sighed, relieved. 'Why do you want to know?'
'Do you like Hermione?' She questions, again getting straight to the point again.
'Like? As a friend??' He asks.
'Or more...' She continues.
'No' He says fiercely. 'I do not like Granger'.
'Okay well, too bad.' Ginny gets up.
'Why too bad?' He gets intrigued.
'Oh, no reason.' She walks away and leaves a very confused Draco sitting at the table alone with his paper again.
'Weird' He thought to himself and took another bite of his apple.
Ginny went back to Hermione's room and sat down on the bed. 'So I told him you two nearly kissed-'
Hermione interrupted her 'What do you mean nearly? You didn't tell him we kissed, Thank God!'
'Yeah anyway' Ginny continued 'He said he hadn't kissed anyone and he went along with the lie that I told as if it was true. So he won't tell me the truth. He also said he didn't like you. We need to get Blaise to talk to him.'

'No we don't Gin, It doesn't matter!' Hermione pleaded and sat down on the bed next to her 'It was nothing, I'm sure he's forgotten about it already'.
'He definitely hasn't and I am going to ask Blaise to talk to him!' Ginny gets up and walks straight out of the room closing the door behind her.
Hermione sighed. She knew Draco had probably forgotten about it, but she couldn't help but hope that he hadn't.
What the hell was Weasel talking about? Have I kissed anyone here? She had no right to ask that. And Granger told her we only nearly kissed.Liar, He thought.
It was about 20 minutes later and Draco was finished reading the Daily Prophet.
He got up from the table and went back to his room where he found Blaise waiting for him. 'I have to ask you something' Blaise said as he walked in.
'What's up? And ask quick Weasley came up to me to ask me stuff today too' Draco complained.
'Well,' Blaise started. 'Ginny came to me a few minutes ago and asked me to ask you about Hermione. And she told me about what happened on your date' Blaise smirked.
'Are you serious? Is she just gonna go around telling everyone that I kissed Granger, Is she not able-' Draco was interrupted.
'You mean you nearly kissed Hermione. Right?' Blaise narrowed his eyes.
'Oh' Draco cleared his throat 'Yeah nearly kissed her'
'NO WAY. OH, MY GOD! YOU KISSED HERMIONE!' Blaise shouted.
'SHUT UP!' Draco widened his eyes 'You cannot tell a soul'
Blaise started laughing 'She lied to Ginny! She said you two nearly kissed.'
'Which was a good thing! Nobody should know' Draco said sternly.
'I have Got to go talk to them!' Blaise ran out of the room.

'NO ZABINI!' Draco ran after him. By the time he got to where Blaise was, He had walked into Hermione's room.
'Did you talk to Malfoy?' Ginny was questioning Blaise just as Draco walked in behind him.
'Oh Yeah, I did' Blaise smirked.
'Why are you looking like that?' Ginny furrowed her eyebrows.
Hermione gasped quietly and looked at Malfoy with her eyebrows raised.
Blaise couldn't keep it in any more 'THEY KISSED!!!!' He shouted.
'Really can't keep his mouth shut!' Draco thought.
'Oh yeah, I know.' Ginny said plainly.
'You told him??' Hermione looked at him fiercely 'Why would you do that??'
'I did not mean to, It slipped out I tried to cover it up. Did not work' Draco apologized. 'Wait? What am I saying? You told Weasley!!'
'You knew???' Blaise looked disappointed. 'I can't believe I was the last person to find out!'
'Blaise you're hardly the last person to find out. Only 4 people know' Draco says.
'Yeah but still!' Blaise whined
'So. Do you two like each other??' Ginny questioned.
'What?' Hermione frowned.
'No' Draco responded.
'Mhm, Whatever you say' Ginny looked unconvinced
'Ginny! I do not like Malfoy' Hermione looked at her.
'And I do not like Granger!' Draco agreed.
'Then why haven't you sent her home yet?' Ginny winked.
Draco didn't have an answer to that.
