Once when The King Akbar

Was walking with his best minister,

He asked Birbal, "In Bramha and I

Who do you think is better?"

Birbal caught in a dilemma

Thought deeply what to say?

"If Bramha will be better

Akbar will be disappointed that way."

"And if he chooses Akbar

He will need a reason very strong,

He can not take much time

As Akbar can't wait for long"

"Your Majesty!" At last, he started

"You are the better one."

"Oh really! Is that so?

But why do you have this notion?"

"While deciding the kingdoms to rule

The powers were compared, My Lord.

You came down as you were heavier

So you got the earth downward."

"And Bramha on that balance

Was lighter and went upward,

So he got the upper world

To rule the earth he couldn't afford.

So this cunningly Birbal presented

A reason to support his choice,

Akbar was satisfied but for Birbal

That was difficult, not a sport of toys.

So that's how 'The Clever Birbal'

Proved himself the smartest of all,

And with his great skills, he won

The hearts of the crowd in the hall.
