《hostage | all of us are dead》chapter 20

a zombie ran directly at you, you somehow managed to be at the front for whatever reason, the others began fighting the others that tried to crowd around you
there were only a couple more zombies than the group, so some got stuck fighting more than one, and you were apart of the unlucky ones
the others had their own zombies to fight, so you didn't call for help
more and more zombies appeared and it was exhausting, swinging your shovel at them only for them to get back up
wujin had appeared in your vision, knocking down zombies and shoving the shovel through their chest, he hadn't even noticed the zombie aiming for his sister
but you did, as you took down the final zombie you ran towards it, throwing the shovel at its head, it didn't die but it did stop aiming for hari, you picked the shovel back up and sliced its head off clean
finally, it stopped, and the other zombies laid dead on the street, hari hugged you as a thank you, tucking your (probably dirty and smelly) hair behind your ear, you all started walking away once namra alerted you that more were nearby, you needed to get to safety soon
little did they all know, namra was fighting her own battle behind them, fighting against herself to not sink her teeth into their flesh
she had ran off at some point, the others didn't take notice of it, you did, but wujin had a firm grip on your arm, not letting you leave his sight, you did almost get bit afterall, and the others had formed a protected circle around you, suhyeok and onjo wasn't there, they must've gone after namra
they came back a little while later, you recognized that you were on train tracks, and you could hear chatter from the distance, the rest were now infront of you, their arms slowly rasing up as you got closer to the soldiers

they lowered their weapons, speaking into their earpiece, you almost wanted to cry, you were finally done with it…or were you?
they took you in on multiple helicopters, after making sure there were no infected among us
you guys roamed the hall of the quarantine camp, with baskets filled of products, water bottles, blankets, and other necessary items
we were all took into questioning about the science teacher, most of them saying nothing ot fighting the woman, when it was your turn you tried to explain about the hamster, and his bullied son, but the woman only nodded and wrote it down, she didn't seem much like she believed you, but it doesn't matter anyway
you were all taken to your respective rooms, you weren't allowed out of the camp, and most of the time your room, you found comfort in the fact your room was in front of gyeongsu’s, the others had their own halls and it was impossible to speak to them, unless you bribed a guard with notes
you and gyeongsu talked on and off for the days you weren't allowed out, as you had no one but each other
but finally, four months later, you were allowed to be out everyday! with a curfew, but it was better than nothing
it felt good to be outside again, you weren't allowed out in the open on the days you could get out, it was still too dangerous or something, but finally now
that night you caught up with the others, and onjo invited you to cross the fence with her, many others had already done it before somehow being able to sneak out, she tossed the makeshift rope and helped you get over it, and them climbing up herself
since there weren't any reason for you mourn anyone but namra, she didn't have a gift to put under the tree

you reached in your own pocket and pulled out a eraser, onjo looked at you confused when you placed it under the tree, it had been the first time namra talked to you, she asked for a eraser the first day you got here, even though she only had one
you tried your best to get one that looked exactly like it, you wondered if she still had it?
onjo had wanted to have a small pionic with you, so she grabbed out a couple snacks and you two laid on the grass, overlooking the skies
a little bit after eating, she noticed the fire on the school’s rooftop, she looked at you and you two shared the same thoughts at that moment
that meant namra was there

Ravyn's Nights
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through five centuries of endless nights. Book 1 covers 1583-1690. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.

I recommend it! Welcome to LitRPG Michael-Scott. Glad you joined the fam!" - Aleron Kong, author of the Chaos Seeds series and The Father of American LitRPG “Lion's Quest is the type of book I'm always on the lookout for and rarely ever find. It's the beginning of a series I know I'm going to enjoy, with great writing and hints of deep in-game lore. The characters are fun, the plot is engaging, and I never know what is going to happen next. The action is fast, brutal and realistic. This is one of my favorite LitRPG stories in the entire genre.” - Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC: Welcome to Ludus and Secret of the Old Ones “A great first foray into LitRPG.
