《My Lazy Prince》Chapter 19

It was sad- no..it was unbearable.
Looking at Kagaya, (Y/N) bit her lip, trying not to cry.
The black haired male had called for (Y/N), telling her to meet him. The Hashira went to see him, after she left the cult.
When the young female saw him though, he was laying down on his futon, bandages wrapped his entire body.
(Y/N) was used to seeing this, since this was what happened to Kagaya’s ancestors. It was like the scene kept repeating itself.
"Kagaya... please don’t tell me it’s almost time." (Y/N) said in disbelief.
Kagaya turned his head, hearing the Hashira's voice. He smiled weakly, looking at the direction he assumed (Y/N) was.
"I’m afraid it is, Ms. (Y/N)" The (E/C) eyed female dreaded those words. She felt like someone just punched her in the gut. Her legs felt unstable, as her knees dropped to the floor. No tears fell from her (E/C) eyes. She didn’t cry. She wanted to, but she couldn’t.
Kagaya gently placed his hand on the Hashira’s shoulder. "Why are you sad, Ms. (Y/N)?" he asked.
"It's not fair, Kagaya…" (Y/N) said. "YOU AREN’T SUPPOSED TO DIE!?" the young female fumed, standing up. "THIS ISN’T FAIR AT ALL! YOU’RE GOING TO LIVE, YOU HEAR ME!!!"
Kagaya just kept smiling, as (Y/N) tried to calm down. She was feeling a lot of things right now- angry, sad, betrayed, broken, and helpless.
"I promised your father that I wouldn't let this happen...I’m not breaking that promise for the 87th time."
There was a long pause after that. (Y/N) didn't know what to do at this point. She just wanted time to stop, even just for a moment.
Her thoughts were soon interrupted by her master's voice

"Wouldn't it be wonderful if you just broke that promise one last time, to ensure no one else of the Ubuyashiki family dies?" Kagya said. (Y/N) starred silently at Kagaya, without saying a word.
"You know…" he continued. "You and that Upper Moon look good together."
(Y/N)’s eyes widened in shock. She looked at Kagaya, as her breathing hitched. She checked if he was bluffing or making a joke, but he wasn't.
She mentally cursed in her mind, while contemplating on what to do. Crap! What the hell should I do? Did he see me with Doma? Did one of the crows see me and snitched?! Shit!
"I saw in a dream of mine, you laughing with another man. His hair was blonde, with blood on the top. He had two unique rainbow eyes, that had the number two written on the right eye. At first, I was surprised. But then I saw the two gold rings that you and the man wore. I remembered you telling me, when I was a kid, that you had a very special person that you hadn’t met in years. That man is your lover...isn’t he, Ms. (Y/N)?"
The (H/C) haired Hashira couldn’t get out of this. No lie would ever cover this up.
She was told that the Ubuyashiki bloodline had a special power that passed from child to child. That "special power" was the ability to see the future by their dreams.
Kagaya must have seen one of the past events of (Y/N) and Doma’s secret meet ups.
The young female knelt down, placing her sword in front of Kagaya. She lowered her head, and looked down at the floor.
"If this puts shame among the Demon Slayer Corps, please do not hesitate to cut off my head.” (Y/N) said in shame.

Her master had figured out about her relationship that she tried to keep a secret. Now that the cat was out of the bag, she awaited the punishment that she deserved. Not just for having a husband that is one of the twelve Demon Moons, but also for lying and breaking almost every rule of the Demon Slayer Corps.
"Punishment? You had done nothing to deserve punishment. There will never be something wrong for loving someone that makes you happy. Even if he or she is a demon."
(Y/N) looked up and saw that her sword was untouched. She was both confused and surprised.
"Love is very puzzling sometimes. In my dream, I saw a side of you I never saw. You looked happier than you ever were. It was like you were a whole new person." The black haired male said. "You’re very lucky, Ms. (Y/N). Finding people that love your fake self, and people that just love you for your values and position are very common. But finding people that love you for who you are, and they actually care and respect you, now that is rare."
(Y/N) softly smiled and hugged Kagaya gently. She thanked him for forgiving her, but Kagaya just told her there was nothing to be forgiven about.
After that, Kagaya told (Y/N) of a very important vision that he had just recently seen. It was about Muzan…
"According to my dream, Muzan will be coming to the mansion in just a few days. By then, me, Amane, Hinaki, and Nichika will set up a trap. Meaning to say, me and my family will act as bait."
"BUT WHAT ABOUT KIRIYA, KUINA, AND KANATA!?" (Y/N) asked/shouted.
"They will be safe in a house far from here. They will be guarded by the former Flame Hashira's father-Shinjuro Rengoku, and Uzui." Kagaya replied.
"BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU!?"
"That will be a surprise." Once again, the unsettling feelings were back. (Y/N) had a feeling, a very big feeling that after a few days, she’s not going to be seeing Kagaya around anymore.
"Kagaya, I hope you know what you’re doing."
"Everything is going to be ok, Ms. (Y/N)." Kagaya assured.
Even though, (Y/N) still couldn’t help but still feel uneasy. She realized she had enough of this, and stood up. She started to walk out of the mansion, but before she did, she heard her master say one last thing.
"It will be my greatest wish for you to end this war. Once and for all." (Y/N) nodded, slowly, and walked outside of the mansion. She needed a moment for her to breath.
"Kagaya....I trust you."
(Y/N) watched as the mansion exploded into bits. She put on her fox mask, and unleashed her sword.
She started running to Muzan, along with her fellow children. But after she landed her first blow, she heard the same biwa strum she had heard weeks ago.
A few seconds later, she found herself in an awfully familiar place.
Her master’s words came rushing through her mind. Reminding her of his last wish. A random demon popped up and started running towards the Hashira. "I promise, Kagaya…" (Y/N) said, slicing a normal demon’s head off.
"I will end this."

Armed with a single spell that he can only cast once before his magic reserves are depleted, Luz has his work cut out for him. Being the oldest is never easy. Author note: Please be warned as the book won't be what you might expect since the early chapters of my work are more of a slice of life of an MC, trying to adjust to his new life rather than slaying monsters left and right from the get-go with accelerated growth cheat and missions given by a goddamn system that forges your path, since everyone knows: an MC needs a system that tells one how to move forward. That was a long sentence. Also, some of you might consider my chapter titles as clickbaity, while others like me might consider them: not boring titles, hehehe.
