《My Lazy Prince》Chapter 20

I ran from corridor to corridor, slicing every demon that came my way.
"Gem Breathing! Third Form : Amethyst Whip!" I said, as I decapitated the head of an enormous demon. My slash curved, forming a whip.
I landed gracefully, as the demon’s head dropped on the floor.
I continued running, hearing swords clashing and yelling all around me. Those must be the others fighting their own battles.
Just then, I caught a glimpse of a haori with a butterfly pattern. It was no other than the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho. I ran, slicing another demon’s heads off, while still watching Shinobu. She then went inside one of the doors that had a symbol on it.
I squinted my eyes to see the symbol on the door. A well drawn lotus was engraved on it.
"Shit!"
I rushed to get on the platform where that door was, but another hazard has stopped me.
It was Upper Moon 3, as read on both his eyes. I remembered seeing him the last time I was here. His name is Akaza, right?
"What?" I spat, bitterly.
According to Tanjiro and his team, it was this demon that killed the Flame Hahsira. My darling Kyojuro.
Without waiting for an answer, I swung my sword, aiming for his neck. However, he didn’t move, he just kept looking at me.
I was about to slice his neck, but he blocked my sword with only his hand. His eyes never stopped looking at me. This creep.
Frustrated, I backed down and landed on the platform that I was previously on.
"You are the Gem Hashira, also known as (Y/N), am I right?" The Upper Moon asked.
"Yeah, so what? Are you gonna eat me?" I sarcastically said.
"I don't eat women." Akaza replied. I was stunned at first, but I quickly became unfazed. I recalled hearing about this from one of Doma’s stories. I continued to keep quiet, while Akaza began to talk again. "Master sent me to kill you, but you seem rather busy at the moment."

"HA! Of course I’m busy! I’m busy trying to get to that room, before one of my children gets killed! Again!" I shouted, emphasising on the "Again".
Akaza looked like he knew what "Again" ment. "You're talking about that Flame Hashira, correct?"
I sighed. I had enough of this meaningless conversation. I quickly ran towards Akaza. "Gem Breathing! 5th Form : Water Lapiz!"
Water started coming out of my sword, as I aimed for the pink haired demon’s head. Heh, little does he know my sword is filled with pure Wisteria. If I just aim this slash at his neck, he will die in an instant.
Akaza jumped, avoiding the slash. Unfortunately for him, my sword was able to land a big gush on his chest and arm. Crap! At least that will weaken him a bit.
"You’re quite strong for a human." He said, dodging another blow.
"Why do you think I was the bodyguard for the Ubuyashiki family for decades." I replied.
"True." Akaza continued dodging my attacks. I was getting pissed off by the second. I could be helping Shinobu right now, but I have to deal with this guy first!
As I was thinking that, Akaza swiftly dashed towards me.
I felt him punch my shoulder, as felt something crack. I groaned in pain, holding my arm. Akaza must have punched a bone in my shoulder, breaking it in the process.
Akaza landed on a platform just behind me. I quickly turned around to face him. "For some reason, I was jealous of you and your relationship with Upper Moon 2." he continued to speak.
"And what kind of phony lie is that? I thought demons can’t feel emotions?" I remarked, preparing to swing my sword.
"I guess one of them came back." Akaza replied.

I glared at the demon in front of me. "And even if you were able to gain some of your emotions back, why would you be jealous of me and my relationship? What? You wanted to date Doma first?"
"In all honesty, I don't know. Maybe because of something related to my past. Unfortunately for me, I don't remember anything about my past. " Akaza blurted out, avoiding my other question.
I stood there in silence, choosing not to speak.
After a few seconds, Akaza sighed and made this sorta martial arts pose. "Well then, I came here to kill you, and I shall do so." Akaza said. "Goodbye, (Y-"
"Okaasan!" My eyes widened when I saw a blade peirce into Akaza’s chest. I saw Giyuu and Tanjiro running towards the Upper Moon. Oh, thank the Heavens they're still alive!
"Okaasan! We’ll handle this! Go help the others!" Giyuu yelled.
I smiled at the two, while turning around and running to the door with the lotus symbol. Thank you Giyuu-san. Thank you Tanjiro. Take care.
I quickly opened the door, revealing a bloody massacre. Bodies of random people were on the floor, as some of them were missing limbs. Just like that village…
I looked around the room and saw some kind of wooden platform guideways. Underneath the guideways, was water with lily pads and lotus floating on top of the water.
I then heard a clank on the ground. My whole body froze, when I saw the sword of Shinobu on the platform.
I looked up and saw Shinobu getting slowly absorbed by none other than my own beloved.
"SHINOBU!!!" I screamed in terror. Doma must have heard this, since he looked down at me. He smiled, fully absorbing the Insect Hashira, while landing on the platform where I was.
"(Y/N)-CHAN~!" He exclaimed excitedly. He rushed to hug me, but I stopped him.
"Why…"
"Huh?"
"WHY DID YOU KILL HER!?" I screamed. "WHY DID YOU KILL THEM!?" I pointed at the pile of dead bodies.
Doma looked at me confused. Does this guy even have any sympathy?
"But I was hungry, (Y/N)-chan~ At least they will always be happy from now on." Doma happily said. I removed my fox mask and glared into his rainbow eyes.
"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU MAKE SOMEONE ETERNALLY HAPPY, DOMA!!! Do you actually think eating them will make them feel happy forever!?" I yelled.
Doma frowned at me while I continued glaring at him.
"(Y/N)-chan, why are you acting like this? Did that girl mean something to you? Do-" He was immediately cut off when two people barged into the room.
"WAHAHAHA! SEE WHAT I TOLD YOU KANOA! THERE’S AN UPPER MOON RIGHT HERE!" I heard Inosuke's voice spoke, loudly.
I quickly turned around and moved towards them. I was happy to see them alive, but at the same time I was afraid to see them here.
"Okaasan!" Kanao said, as she rushed towards me. "Okaasan, have you seen-" I immediately silenced her, giving her a "shhh" sign.
"Ara~ It seems I have an entire feast." Doma said, looking at both Kanao and Inosuke.
Doma was about to go nearer to the two, but I gave Doma another deadly glare. I unleashed my sword, as I stood in front of the two demon slayers.
"Don't hurt them."
