《My Lazy Prince》Chapter 26

UENO PARK
"BYE, BOSS!!!" One of my employees said, waving her hand.
I waved back at her and walked out of my building.
I sighed and breathed in the fresh air. Kagaya and the others didn't come today. They all said they needed to do something. Which sounded quite odd.
Anyways, I was about to take a cab home, when my phone suddenly dinged. I grabbed my phone out of my bag, and saw it was a text from Uzui.
Uzui: Okaasan! Come meet us Ueno Park. The cherry blossoms are beautiful.
I chuckled and texted him that I'll be there in just a few minutes. I signaled one of the cabs and got in. I told the driver to bring me to Ueno Park, and the driver nodded while driving the car.
I arrived at Ueno Park a few minutes later. I got out of the cab and paid the driver. He thanked me and drove off.
Wow! Uzui was right! The cherry blossoms are beautiful.
I brought out my phone and texted Uzui.
Me: Uzui, where are you?
To which he responded right away.
Uzui: Just wait near the lake. I just need to grab a few things.
I texted an "ok" and walked closer to the lake. I breathed in the fresh air, as I watched the clear water of the lake shine. The lake had a few lily pads and lotus here and there. It's weird, not many people are here today. But who am I to complain?
A calm wind passed through, making the cherry trees sway. Petals started to fall over me, making it look like one of those scenes in a love story.
"My prince, I wish you were here. The view is absolutely breathtaking." I muttered.
"It is, isn't it."

I felt a pair of arms wrap my waist, which caught me off guard. I immediately turned around and came in eye contact with a pair of rainbow eyes. The man in front of me smiled gently. Making my stomach have butterflies.
"How are you, my diligent wife?"
It can't be.
My lips quivered, while I stood there silently. My heart felt like it was about to explode out of my chest. I could feel tears start to form in the sides of my eyes.
Am I hallucinating? This can't be real…can it?
He stroked my hair, and leaned in and gave me a kiss. My eyes widened. I can actually feel it. He looked back at me, still smiling happily at me.
"D...DOMA-SAN!" I cried while wrapping my arms around his neck. I started crying, while I heard him chuckle. Tears spilled down my cheeks, while I gripped the back of the coat he was wearing. He cupped my face and gently wiped away my falling tears. The smile that I had missed for so many years was right in front of me.
"Why are you crying, (Y/N)-chan?" He asked. I smiled, laughing softly.
"I'm just so happy."
He planted a kiss on my cheek and slowly combed through my hair.
"WOOHOO!!! GET A ROOM YOU TWO!!!"
I looked to my left and saw Uzui along with everyone else. Including Kagaya and Ms. Amane.
"Oi, okaasan! If you're going to act all lovey dovey in public, at least do it where I can't see it." Sanemi commented.
"Ani!" Genya started scolding him, making us all laugh.
"Doma! Save your kissing for later would ya!" I looked to my right and almost choked on what I saw.
"Ah, Akaza-san! I see you brought everyone!" Doma said, waving at the group of demons, I mean people.

W-WHAT?!?!
The supposedly "demons that are rotting in hell'' stopped in front of me and Doma. I looked back at Kagaya and the rest and they were...SMILING!? But it kinda looked forced though. What the hell is going on!?
"Ah, (Y/N)-chan! I have someone that wants to speak with you!" I looked confusedly at him, but then I heard an "ahem".
I looked to my right and froze.
"Hello, (Y/N)."
Holy shit this guy is scary. His red eyes were piercing into mine. I was scared, but at the same time I wanted to punch him.
"Well~?" Doma said.
The mother fucking bastard sighed and looked at me. "Sorry" he muttered. It almost sounded like a whisper.
I stood there in silence, as I questioned why the coldhearted bastard (that killed me by the way), is apologizing to me. I mean, I forgave this guy a long time ago. But seeing this infront of me is HILARIOUS!
And pathetic, can't forget pathetic.
I started laughing, as he looked at me confused. "Who knew the great o' powerful demon would apologize." I snorted. I placed my hand on his shoulder and gave him a playful grin. "Don't worry, Muzan! I already forgave you a long time ago."
His eyes had that certain look in them. Like he was surprised. He gave me a nod and walked towards Kokushibo? Is that his name? He was Upper Moon...uh...
As I was pondering, I heard Doma call my attention. I turned around and looked at him. He gently grabbed me hand and knelt down on his knee.
"I have been waiting for this moment for so long." he said, smiling. My jaw almost dropped, as he slipped a gold ring on my finger. It looked very identical to the one I wore before. It was the same size and the same color. Heck! It felt like it was meant to be on my finger.
Doma cleared his throat and gave me a small smile. I could see the blush on his cheeks, which I probably had on my cheeks as well.
"Will you marry me again, my diligent wife?"
I squatted down and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Of course I'll marry you!" I exclaimed, planting a slight kiss on his lips. "My lazy prince".
We both started laughing, as the others were clapping for us in the background.
My heart felt warm. It was like the missing part of me was finally filled. Hehe, I do still wonder how all of this happened. But I really don't mind. Not one bit.
Mr. Sato smiled, while he watched the happily engaged couple and their friends walk out of Ueno park.
He let out a chuckle and looked up to the sky.
"Isn't that great? Even after all the years that had passed by, faith still guided them back together." He said. "Maybe giving them a second was the right thing to do, no? I was actually debating if I should let them keep their memories." He let out a small laugh.
"But, I don't regret a thing." The old man started walking towards the lake. A small breeze blew, as the cherry blossoms circled around him. He breathed in the fresh air. "I do hope they get married soon. I don't want the prince to wait too long for his princess."
