《ESA (Ranboo x reader)》I fall apart sometimes

SONG FOR THE CHAPTER ⬆️
YOUR DAILY CATBOO PICTURE ⬇️
I held Catboo and gently stroked his head as Jack's mom drove us to the pet shop. If I was going to take care of the cat, I'd need the necessary things to, and I'd need someone who could afford the things we needed.
We walked in, and the cashier started staring at Catboo. Most likely because of his oddly colored fur and red eye.
We started walking through the store getting things like cat food, a bed, some toys, a litter box and litter to go in it, etc. Jack grabbed a (f/c) collar, and I grabbed a simple circular tag.
We brought it all to the check out area, and I handed the cashier the tag.
"Alright, please write down contact information, and what name would you like on the tag," she asked, staring at Catboo.
I wrote down Jack's address and his mom's phone number as the contact information in case Catboo ever got lost, considering my parents didn't care enough to help me with even a goldfish, and I can't afford a car.
I handed the lady the paper, and before she went to engrave the tag, she giggled.
"Catboo? Like Ranboo?"
"You watch him too," Jack asked excitedly.
The cashier nodded and they started talking about Ranboo. I just zoned out and subconsciously pet Catboo.
I fall apart sometimes
I've got no one to please
The cashier went and engraved the collar for us, and when she came back we put the collar on Catboo.
Aunt Isla paid, and I began to freak out over how expensive it was. They shouldn't have paid this much money on me! I could've worked more and paid myself!
I felt something fuzzy gently headbutt my chin, so I looked down and saw Catboo lookin up at me worriedly.

I began to pet him, and I tried to focus on his soft purrs.
On the way out, Jack was excitedly talking about the conversation he had with the cashier.
"Yeah! And she's one of the few Ranboo fans with a gender!"
"I'm going to pretend that's not weird," I said.
They drove me to my house so I could see everything up for Catboo, and I was dreading it. I always knew that I have to go home eventually, but it still is a bad place to be.
That's why I usually stay over at Jack's house. That's why I work as many extra hours as possible.
I opened the door as quietly as possible, and was immediately hit with the stench of alcohol and blood.
I snuck up to my room, the only clean room in this entire house. I began to set up everything for Catboo, who had laid down and sprawled out on my bed.
"(Y/N), GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT," I heard my dad scream.
I sighed, glanced at Catboo, then went downstairs. He was holding an empty glass vodka bottle, and his face was purple and red with pure rage.
"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?! I SWEAR IF YOU WERE WITH MY SISTER AGAIN-"
He smashed the bottom of the bottle against the wall, turning it into a lethal weapon. He began to charge at me, so I raced to my room.
I don't know what love is like
I don't know if I've ever fell
I locked the door and barricaded it, I wanted to make sure that he was not getting in.
All I know is that it's something that'll make me happy
Only time will tell
I slid down against the wall, and felt tears pricking at my eyes. There was a pressure in my ears that made them feel like their was water filling them.

It's getting harder to breathe
Feeling like I'm getting old
It's forever that I can't see clearly
Save me from the cold
Fear and anxiety bubbled up in my chest and my brain felt fuzzy. There was a pounding in my forehead and I couldn't focus on a single thought. I felt tears dripped down my cheeks, and I only felt more panicked.
I felt something fuzzy gently headbutt my chin, and a small rubbery thing loosen up my shirt and hold itself on my chest. Another rubbery thing touched my nose, then the big mass it was connected to curled up on my lap.
I began to subconsciously pet through what made the thing soft, and I concentrated on the fun sound it made. I took a few deep breaths, and the pressures and pains began to fade.
Soon enough I was feeling better, just a little anxiety. No pain, no pressure, not panicked.
I looked down at Catboo who was on my lap.
Give me just one hand that I'd like to hold
"Thanks bud. Maybe Jack was right about an ESA."

I am...*sigh* a speck of dust.
Hey, I'm...well, I'm not human anymore so I don't suppose that name matters. Anyway, just call me D. Why? Cause I'm dust. Not like, "Oh, no one notices me, it's like I'm dust in the air", but like..actually just a speck of dust. Nothing exciting going on, no action packed fights or cringey romances. Just...dust. I have a little system menu and everything, like all the 'OP' protagonists, but I mostly use it for the notes feature. Like right now. So, if anyone ever sees this, like, if the System stores it somewhere or whatever, just move along. Nothing special here.
