SONG FOR THE CHAPTER ⬆️
YOUR DAILY CATBOO IMAGE ⬇️
(Your pov)
Ben's parents had set up for us to stay in a hotel, but since the plane landed on Saturday, we ended up immediately going to the celebration after dropping off our bags.
A song was playing, and there was people dancing around in a circle surrounding the square stage with the musicians, occacionally pulling onlookers in to join them.
Catboo was balancing on my shoulder, and Ben grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to the dancing ring.
"This is the first song of the celebration," Ben said excitedly. "They cleanse the area with sound, and expel dark magic!"
Catboo jumped off my shoulder, and walked into a dark secluded alley.
"Where's he going," Ben asked.
"Probably to use the bathroom. He hates doing it where people can see."
"What a little gentleman."
(Third person pov)
Mark was in serious pain. He didn't know why, but it felt like he was on fire. He ended up going to the alley because he wanted to collapse. He didn't want (y/n) to see him like this.
He ended up falling on the ground because it hurt too bad for him to stay standing. But it only got worse.
He began to cry out in pain, but was shocked when he heard the pained meows slowly faded into more human noises like grunts.
And it sounded like his voice.
When the pain finally stopped he looked at his hands. They were his hands! He was human!
He was wearing a black and white suit that had the colors split down the middle, just like the fur had been. He began to internally celebrate, until he heard something.
"Oh fuck," he muttered.
He could still hear things like heartbeats. He began to feel around his head, but it was all very much human. No cat extremities.

He took a deep breath and started walking out of the alley, only to see people pairing up to dance. And (y/n) was nowhere to be seen.
Then he heard a rising heartbeat. Someone was panicking, and it was really bad. He started walking in the direction of said heartbeat, and saw (y/n) alone in the circle of dancers, panicking.
From now on
He quickly started pushing his way through the ring of dancing couples and made his way to (y/n).
From now on
"Hey, look at me," he said gently. "Deep breaths. You're going to be okay. It's going to be okay. Just take some deep breaths."

The world traveler from the future
The world, under the guide of the System, was prospering. The Dungeons gifted untold riches to those brave enough to challenge them, and the System watched and helped those who were willing to complete its Quests. But not Charles. As soon as he appeared inside a dark cave, the system told him that he was an anomaly, that he was not worthy of its gifts. His mind was damaged. His AI companion was convinced that he was in a world of sword and magic. All around, schemers and manipulators tried to play their part in a story that was thousands of years old. Spanning entire planes and worlds. And yet, he only saw what he wanted to see. For a while, it worked. Slowly, but inevitably, it became impossible. The threat was too big to ignore, the evidence too strong. He was just a pawn in a game so large that it was impossible to comprehend. At its center, the System. The System was not what it seemed. It was a tyrant, or maybe just a tool created by someone or something so powerful that it could control entire worlds. And it had declared him its enemy. Amir: A Short Horror Story
"My throat became dry; my tongue felt like sandpaper scraping against the top of my mouth. My mind became fuzzy. I had no chance of survival against this, this thing, and It was toying with me. It seemed to see the fear in my eyes and laughed, the metal sounding voice screeching like nails on a chalkboard. " I wrote this when I was young, and I haven't touched it since 2019, so don't worry about it.
