"I bet a hundred yen that whoever the guy is, he will kneel in front of her and spout whatever nonsense that is" Tsukishima said.
"Ah...I'm not betting, right know, Tsukki" Yamaguchi told him. "He will kneel in front of Mizuki-san? Oh crap, I hope Tsukki's wrong..."
"Ah, mystery guy is here" the blonde said, looking at the boy with glasses. Yamaguchi's heart was pounding as Ayame is talking with the boy. Suddenly, the boy was on his knees, holding the girl's hand.
Oh, crap...
He...
Freaking...
Held...
Her hand...!
Not to mention, on their first meeting!
For some reason, this ticked Yamaguchi off and he wanted to know what they are talking about and better yet, separate them.
"Ding ding, I won the bet" Tsukishima said. For starters, Tsukishima usually don't mind Yamaguchi's business but right now, he's interested in what the teen's acting right now. He's not listening. He kept looking at them with burning curiosity, to the point which Tsukishima found this strange at his friend's attitude.
"Hey, Yamaguchi, your glare could practically pierce his thick skull, you know?" Tsukishima told him. Yamaguchi rarely glared. He's a bit of a coward, he would say.
"I'm not glaring, Tsukki!" he answered defensively "Anyway, we got to help her"
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this..." Tsukishima muttered "What's this guy's problem?"

"Um...Katasuke-kun, what do you mean by that?" I asked him out of curiosity. Technically, I really wanted to know why he asked me about this. This is getting confusing. He fixed his glasses then nervously answered.
"W-well..."
"Oh, so you're the letter sender..." a voice said. Katasuke-kun suddenly sweat dropped. I turned around and saw Tsukishima-kun and Tadashi-kun standing. Apparently, I think this two mistook it as a confession because Tadashi-kun looked like he wanted to strangle Katasuke-kun.

"S-so t-tall...." Katasuke-kun sweat dropped, quickly letting go of my hand. Oh yeah, Katasuke-kun is a good 160 cm while Tsukishima-kun is 188 cm, so he's basically a little intimidated by his height.
"You've got guts, holding her hand without knowing her, for someone like you" Tsukishima-kun said. Tadashi-kun had this weird and dark aura behind them and it scared Katasuke-kun.
"Uh...can we at least hear his explanation first before jumping to conclusion?" I asked them.
"Why bother asking when it's obvious what he's about to tell you?" Tsukishima-kun said.
"He's confessing..." Tadashi-kun muttered. I face palmed. They clearly misunderstood the whole thing. The guy's asking for help not confessing! Apparently, I think they saw Katasuke-kun kneel in front of me and they probably didn't hear the whole thing and assumed he's confessing his feelings whatnot. I better tell them or else things will get worse for poor Katasuke-kun.
"Um...he's not confessing..." I told them "He's...asking me for help on creating a love letter"
...
...
...
"What?! He's not confessing to you?!" Yamaguchi asked, pointing a finger to Katasuke."Then, why the heck he's kneeling and holding her hand, huh?!" He felt relieved when she said that the boy's not confessing and he was only asking her help. Still, he can't get the image out of his mind when he was holding her hand.
"You heard her. Nerdy's not confessing..." Tsukishima sighed. He was kinda hoping that he was confessing to her so he could see the freckled teen's reaction.
"It's Katasuke Shiro" Katasuke answered "And no, I'm not confessing to Mizuki-san. I-I only wanted her help on creating a love letter..."
"Good to hear..." Yamaguchi sighed "Can you at least explain why you need Mizuki-san's help?"
"Please tell us everything" I said. Katasuke-kun relaxed and pushed his glasses.

"W-well, there is someone in my class that I like and I think, giving her a love letter would do" he said "A-and I heard that boys are confessing and giving you love letters s-so I thought that maybe...you could help me..."
"Why did you send me a letter? You could've ask me, you know?" I told him.
"He chickened out..." Tsukishima-kun snickered. I frowned at him and motioned him to continue.
"W-well, the truth is, I was about to ask you personally but I got scared" Katasuke-kun nervously looked at Tadashi-kun and Tsukishima-kun "I decided that giving you a letter might do it..."
"That explains it all..." Tsukishima-kun said "Still, giving her a letter and asking her to meet you after class is a pretty classic move. We thought you were confessing to her in secret"
"It's the only thing I can think of asking her for help. Sorry..." he apologized, bowing.
"I'm sorry about earlier, too" Tadashi-kun said, rubbing the back of his neck. He probably meant the way his reaction was earlier, though I found it really strange why he's acting like that.
"I-It's okay, I guess..."
"If you're creating a love letter, let's hope you don't end up like those guys that Mizuki rejected..." Tsukishima-kun said, smirking. Katasuke-kun went depressed and sulked.
"Way to cheer him up, Tsukishima-kun" I sarcastically said. This guy really likes destroying someone's mood.
I helped Katasuke-kun in creating a love letter. Apparently, he admitted that he liked his best friend and he never had the guts to tell her. Honestly, I have zero experience in writing a love letter because (duh) I've never been in love but I'm really good at expressing my feelings in writing, so yeah, it worked.
While I was helping him, Tadashi-kun and Tsukishima-kun were standing a meter away, talking. Tsukishima-kun was telling his bestfriend about something and Tadashi-kun's face was red and he was shaking his head, saying "It's nothing like that, Tsukki!". I wonder what those two are talking about.
Anyway, I told Katasuke-kun good luck and he was a little relieved and ran off.
"That guy's weird..." Tsukishima-kun said. I sighed. Finally, it was all made clear. I hope that Katasuke-kun was able to give it to his crush because all his efforts (and mine) will be wasted if he failed to.
