《The Secretary》Doofus

I thought I saw Jensen's face appear to be a little disappointed, but was quickly masked but a bright smile. He turned the ignition to his truck, grabbing the wrappers of finished food and stuffing them in the bag.
"Okay, you wanted to plan what we're going to do in California, so, let's get to it." He said, pulling out of the parking lot, and onto the road.
He leaned over and opened the glovebox, digging through it until he found what he was looking for, his eyes switching back and forth between the road and the glove box.
He pulled out a small booklet, handing it to me. I took it from his hand and looked at him.
"Figured you'd want to have a look at that when you woke up." He said glancing over at me and biting his bottom lip.
"Thanks." I said as I opened the pamphlet, skimming over the words.
I snuck glances at Jensen as he focused on the road, his hands slapping the steering wheel with each new beat. His eyes sparkled, his voice rang through the truck, the windows rolled down and his music blasted. I couldn't help but smile at his state.
"You find anything that you want to do yet, or are you just going to keep glancing at me every second?" He smirked.
You're not the only actor here Ackles. I thought.
"Yeah actually, I just didn't know if you would like it very much." I said, my poker face strong as I looked back at the pamphlet and then back to Jensen.
"We'll spill sweetheart. I'm not a mind reader ya know." He said.
"Maybe we could go to Disneyland, or Universal Studios, or we could go to Yosemite, or Lake Tohoe-" I said as I started naming off things.

"Hold where'd you find those? I've been through that pamphlet a thousand times and I haven't found any of those except for three." He said.
"I only named four." I said. "Anyways, what about Sequoia National Park, or Napa Valley, maybe Sausalito." I continued.
"Hold on, y/n, have you been to California before?" He asked.
"Jensen, I grew up there." I said, raising my eyebrows. "You've been my best friend for how long and you forgot that I grew up in California? Seriously?"
Jensen chuckled. "No I didn't forget, I just...okay I forgot, but how do you know so many places, you haven't been there in years, and as far as I remember your family never took you to national parks and theme parks."
"They didn't. I wanted to take my future kids there one day, so I researched all the parks in California." I said.
"That's sweet. You don't even have kids and your already thinking about where you want to take them." He said.
"Don't mock me." I said, smacking his arm.
He laughed. "I'm not, really it's cute. You already care for them enough to think about them when they aren't even here yet. You always think of others, that's what I like about you." He said.
I looked away at his comment, trying my hardest not to blush. When I looked back at him, he was staring at me, his eyes focused, almost as if he was ... studying me?
"Anyways, I suggest that we go to Disneyland, and then maybe Universal? I heard Disneyland is much better than universal though." I said, turning back to the pamphlet.
"Okay, sounds good. Since we're pretty much done planning for California, what would you like to do? It's only 11 and we don't have to pick up Jj until 2."

I sat in thought for a minute, thinking about what we could do, and that's when it hit me.
"Let's go to the zoo!" I said, practically jumping up and down in my seat.
Jensen chuckled, "You're sure you want to do that?"
"Am I sure? I'm positive Jay, don't even ask me if I'm sure. The real question is, are you sure?"
"I swear your just like a little kid." Jensen said, smiling.
"Maybe I am a little kid trapped in a 21 year old body, and perhaps your just an old man trapped in a 24 year old body."
Jensen shot me a look and he pulled onto the main road, and heading towards the freeway.
"Ha ha, so funny." He said sarcastically with an evil smirk on his face.
"What's that smirk about?" I asked, easily reading his body language and expression.
His smirk only grew wider with my question, and the next thing I knew we were swerving all over the road.
"Jensen!" I yelled, grabbing onto the handle that was above the door.
Jensen started laughing as he stepped on the gas, pushing his truck faster and swerving even more.
"Jensen slow down! We're going to die!" I said tightening my grip on the handle.
Jensen laughed as he slowly brought his truck down the speed meter settling at a 60 mph. He glanced over at me and smiled.
"You can let go of the handle now." He laughed.
I looked at him, then at my hand, which happened to be clinging to the handle. I slowly loosened my grip until my hand came loose, and slowly lowered my hand down to my side.
Jensen watched as I did so, casually glancing from me back to the road.
"You are very dramatic. So much so, you could be an actress."
"Yeah well, learned from the best." I said.
"Aww, y/n how sweet." Jensen said.
"I wasn't talking about you." I retorted, laughing as I did so.
"Then who?" He asked.
"A good friend of mine, known as the one and only Misha Collins." I said, throwing my hands up in the air dramatically.
"Of course you learned from him." Jensen said, shaking his head.
"You know it!" I said, turning my body to face him, pointing finger guns at him and winking.
He chuckled at my response. "You doofus."
I smiled, excited that we were getting back to normal.

A Budding Scientist in a Fantasy World
Alice is a girl who loves science and lives on Earth. Then, suddenly, she was punted into another dimension. A dimension where magic and monsters roam the land, swords and sorcery reign supreme, and, for some reason, a System keeps dinging at her and telling her that her stats and levels are increasing. As someone who loves exploring mysteries, Alice is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery. After all, everything has to have a ‘cause,’ including the System, right? What to expect: This story is going to be a LitRPG set in a fantasy world. However, unlike many LitRPG’s, the system has both a definite beginning and definite limits to what it is able to accomplish – rather than a singularly omnipotent, omniscient being that is tied to the laws of the world, the way systems are usually presented in LitRPG’s, the system is close to both, but has definite limits and rules which it operates by. This story is also relatively slow, since that is my writing style. The main character also begins the story as a young, 15-year old girl who has yet to finish high school, and is going to explore more of the world around her as she grows as a person and starts to get her feet under her. A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.
