《The Secretary》Something wrong?

Jensen's POV
I sat there on the floor as I watched her pick herself off the floor quickly and storm out of the room. She didn't seem to object until she had moaned a little.
Of course I thought it was hot, and only left me wanting more, I suppose for her, she had different thoughts. I was confused, and little startled I'll have to admit. She seemed to be enjoying it...or was she just acting?
She had been my best friend for so long until I ditched her. How I could just drop someone like her, I wasn't sure, nor would I ever understand why I had.
Y/n was special, and I knew how I had felt about her. Looking at her underneath me had only brought my feeling to surface, and I thought she had felt the same way.
But the horror and hatred in her face when she had looked at me after shoving me away, had hurt. Hurt like hell. I felt like she had just stabbed me in the heart with the way she had turned away and stormed off.
Was it me? What could I have possibly done to hurt her that much? Okay, that was a stupid question, but what had I done wrong tonight specifically to hurt her that much?
Throwing the disappointment look on her face from my thoughts, I shoved myself off the floor to go and find the girls, and possibly figure out what I did wrong.
Y/n's POV
I had found Jj and the young handmaiden in the kitchen, making what appeared to be ice cream sundays. I smiled at Jj once she saw me. She was definitely a sight, with ice cream and chocolate spice all over her face.
I quickly pulled out my phone snapping a picture of her, then walked up and grabbed a napkin, starting to clean the mess off of her face.
"I'm sorry. I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Y/n." I said, after cleaning Jj's face and holding out my hand to the young maiden.

"Hello Miss Y/n. I am Jace." She said, disregarding my hand and bowing in front of me.
"Oh that's not necessary." I said to her.
"What?" She asked as she stood back up, she seemed very bewildered.
"The bowing, and calling me miss, please, we're friends. You have no less value than I." I said.
"Oh, okay." She said as she smiled and held out her hand.
I grabbed it and gave it a confident shake.
"It's nice to meet you Y/n." She said as she looked up at me, then glanced quickly behind me, and paled. "Oh, um. It's time for bed little one, come on now." She said quickly dropping my hand and hurrying besides me to go get Jj.
Just as I had turned around, Jace had left with Jj, her ice cream still in the bowl. I looked in the direction of where the girls left, to see Jensen standing there with his arms crossed over his chest, and he looked pissed.
I mimicked his pose, dropping my confused smile into a scowl. He tensed, and clenched his jaw.
Jensen POV
She almost seemed to mock me, with her posture and her scowl. Her beautiful smile had dropped as soon as she saw me.
"Mr. Ackles," She said. "What do you need?"
She called me 'Mr. Ackles' not Jensen. We were back to the office. Role play? Couldn't be.
"Don't call me that you're not working." I said, my voice coming out rougher than I wanted.
"We'll if I'm not working, what would you like me to call you?" She said, her glare growing cold.
"Jensen. What else?" I said, fighting the urge to roll my eyes.
"Oh really? Cause I can think of a few choice names." She growled.
"What happened?" I asked her. "You we're fine until I kissed you, so what did I do wrong?"
"That's exactly the thing. Ever since I agreed to go in this trip with you, you've been acting like I'm yours. I'm not yours Jensen. I never have been and I never will be." She seethed through her teeth.

Ouch that hurt. That felt like a punch to the face.
"I have not." I retorted, fighting to keep my voice from cracking.
"Oh really? Because that's all you seem to be able to do. First you take me on this trip, then to the zoo, then you bought me a necklace. Then we show up here, and you kiss me on the cheek, then later you kissed me on the lips." She said.
I took a step towards her, only for her to take a step back. This continued until she was pressed up against the wall. I was only a few inches from touching her completely.
"Jensen, you're my boss. This can't happen." She said, trying to gently push my away just a bit.
"But you're not working, besides, I'm not your boss anymore, you said you quit." I said back, leaning in just a bit. My breath mixing with hers.
"I'm still in my two week notice phase. Besides, this is highly inappropriate." She said, trying her hardest to keep her voice steady. Her eyes were cast to the floor.
"Y/n, look at me honey." I said, placing my finger underneath her chin, and slowly pulling her face up to mine.
Her eyes met with mine, and all I saw was fear. It was then I realized she was shaking underneath me, and she was holding her breath. I quickly took a good two steps back, to which she instantly took a deep breath and fell to the floor, crying.
I wasn't sure if I should've gone to her side or not, but I did anyway, slowly wrapping my arms around her small frame as she curled up into herself.
"I'm- I'm sorry." She got out into between sobs.
"Don't be sorry, I was forcing myself on you, I should be saying sorry. You asked me not to do that and I didn't listen." I whispered.
She said nothing as she just held onto me, gripping my shirt as hard as she could. It was only when she started to calm down when I suggested that we go to bed.
I walked her to her room, and helped her into bed after she got changed. I turned out her light and turned to leave when she grabbed my hand, pulling it a little.
"Did you need something else?" I asked her.
She hesitated before I heard the softest whisper fall from her lips. "Please stay."
I stood there in shock, my mouth agape as I looked at her.
"Just for the night, you can leave when I fall asleep, of course you don't have to I was just hoping-" She said.
"No, it's alright. I'll stay." I said, then going around the king sized bed and climbing in behind her.
She turned and snuggled up next to my body, allowing me to wrap my arms around her. She pressed her forehead onto the dip of my neck, and wrapped her arms around my chest.
I felt her let out a quivering breath, and heard a quick 'thank you' fall from her lips.
"Of course." I whispered into her ear, and then hesitated, deciding if I should say exactly what I was thinking. "I would do anything for you."
I felt her breathing slow to a steady stream of air against my neck as she fell asleep. I couldn't help but smile, the girl of my dreams had just trusted me enough to hold her in my arms.
I kissed her forehead, and fell asleep smelling the shampoo from the night before.

My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe...
Xavier had a happy, humdrum life: normal friendships, a normal girlfriend, a somewhat oddball family. Until, that is, he literally stumbled through the fourth wall and discovered he was the protagonist of a manga. Now he's scrambling to maintain any semblance of control over his own life in the face of something he never imagined he would need to contend with: the power of the Genre. Hello, E.O. Tenkey here; thank you for your interest in "Not A Manga"! This was my first serial novel, and I hope you enjoy Xavier's predicament! Familiarity with manga not required (though it can't hurt)! I look forward to exploring the bounds of the Genre with you. (First volume is rated PG-13 for comic mayhem and light profanity—these are high school students, after all. Second volume is rated PG-13 to R for some violence and similar levels of profanity. Tags may or may not contain spoilers.)

This is the tale of Team Noruva, which consists of a quiet, yet wise healer, a silent, but thoughtful rogue, a knight with an iron will, a wolf beastborn who gained access to the System, and their leader, who ignores the impossible and does whatever he wants, because why the hell not? This is the tale of their adventures and daily lives, their ups and downs, their struggles, successes, and losses. **REGARDING PoV'S*** There will be 5 total PoV's in this story.
