“AAAAYYYY MMMIIISSSS HHHIIIJJJOOSSS” The woman in white walks down the path with two children. She turns right and walks down the tree.

“Where is she going?” Majorie asks Bella. Bella turns around with a serious face suggests:

“Why don´t you follow her silently? She will not notice.”

Uriel and Marjorie begin to follow her to see what's going on. The two of them see how the ghost stops in a tree.

The ghost hugs the pair of children, a boy and a girl. The ghost chants in ancient Aztec: “Separación de Almas” (Separation of Souls)

Soon, a light shines in the children's chest. Lights come out of the body and form small spheres. The two children pass out. Marjorie covers her mouth with fear and tries to walk forward. Uriel grabs Marjorie holding her and grabbing her mouth whispering:

“Please don't move, we don’t know what her ability is...stay calm…”

The ghost puts the souls in two different dolls hanging in the trees. The bodies of the children turn into ashes.

Tears come out of Marjorie’s eyes, the two dolls move their heads. The ghost of the woman looks at them, and pats their heads:

“Descansen niños” ( Rest my children).

She cries tears of blood and walks slowly screaming:

“AAAAAYYYYY MMMMIIIISSS HHHHHIIIJJJJOOOOSSSSS”

Marjorie and Uriel stay put until she disappears from their sight. After she disappears Uriel and Marjorie lean back breathing heavily. Bella appears in front of them:

“Now you see what's happening here? That ghost is La Llorona!” (Weeping lady)

Marjorie puts on a frightened face. Uriel looks with anger; “So, La Llorona…I thought she was a legend…”

“Indeed, the famous ghost you probably heard about from your parents or some other adults” Bella walks forward and grabs a doll from a tree, she continues to explain:

“This doll is the soul of a lost child, La Llorona walks around the country grabbing children who she feels are suffering and brings them here. She separates their souls and puts them in dolls so they could be safe”

“But why does she do that?” Marjorie asks with a shaky voice.

“She is searching for her lost children. Nobody knows about her, but the legend says her children lost their lives due to a fire, however, some say she drowned them. The reason is unknown but this spirit has been lurking for centuries in search for a boy and a girl.”

Bella explains, Marjorie feels fear, Uriel thinks about the two children he encountered earlier; “Adihe and Xochitl…could they be…”

Bella continues to explain:

“She thinks she is doing well but you can see them do you, Uriel?”

Uriel looks around and sees the souls of the children who are playing in the trees. They are glowing white with white dresses for the girls or shirts and pants for the boys.

Uriel sighs with his eyes closed:

“This is not good, they should not be here, they need to find peace.”

“But why muchacho, they look happy don't they?” Bella tests Uriel.

Uriel stands up and replies; “They are not free, they are trapped, they need to move on, I don’t know why, but I will learn about her motives…”

Marjorie stands and grabs his hand:

“Uriel…I will help you…”

“Ahh young love…hee hee hee” Bella grabs her cat, she continues to speak:

“La Llorona will return in one hour, she always does that…I’ve been seeing her do the same thing for years now…Once she comes back, you can speak to her, if you dare.... Meanwhile, let's go eat something, I bet you are hungry.”

(GGGRRROOOWWLLL)

The two of them have red faces as their stomach growls and both of them say:

“YES PLEASE.”

“Good…come with me…I have some leftover stew you can eat…”

Marjorie and Uriel decided to enter and eat while they waited for La Llorona to return...

At the same time…Kasumi and Johanna managed to find Alejandro along with the girl named Xochitl…Both are in their room unconscious…Johanna watches over them as Kasumi raced to find the stuff that Johanna needed…The other students and the professors are still missing…

(KNOCK, KNOCK)

“I´m coming in,” Kasumi enters the room, seeing Johanna sleeping.

(BOOOOMM)

Katsumi hits Johannain in the head, waking her up. “OUCH!!” Johanna rubs her head. Kasumi looks mad and puffs her cheeks; “You are supposed to look after them, not to sleep!!!”

“Sorry, but I was so comfortable here that I couldn’t help myself…”

Alejandro opens his eyes; “Where am I?” Alejandro looks at the ceiling, he reacts violently and stands up:

“URIEL…MARJORIE!”

“Alejandro calm down, you’re safe…you’re with us…” Kasumi holds Alejandro, Alejandro comes to his senses; “Kasumi senpai…Nurse Gomez?”

Quick Note; After Alejandro was accepted in Yggdrasil. Kasumi became her superior. In Japan, “Senpai” is used to refer to an upperclassmen or someone who has more experience than yourself.

Alejandro looks at Xochitl and remembers:

“Oh yeah…we were attacked by Quetzalcoatl…Uriel fought against him and…”

(BBBAADDUUUMMMPP)

Alejandro feels a pain on his right arm, he looks at his arm all bandaged; “My arm, I got destroyed when I attacked the God…”

“You did what?” Kasumi looks surprised, Alejandro sheds tears:

“I am so weak, I couldn’t help my friends…Damn it…”

Kasumi hugs him; “You’re a fool, you’re lucky to be alive right now…I feel so relieved…”

“Senpai…”

“Now then, as for your punishment for not remembering the basics and running away. When we get back, you will do 100 push-ups and 200 sit-ups…” Kasumi smiles with a “red aura” coming out of her. Alejandro gets nervous; “She’s really mad…”

“Fufufu…Kasumi, you’re too harsh on the boy…let me check your arm…”

“Ggghh…” Johanna grabs Alejandro’s arm, Alejandro feels pain as he closes one eye. Johanna looks at his arm; “You have quite a strong arm…you have been working out, right?”

“Well, I have been training hard lately…” Alejandro feels embarrassed and scratches his head.

Johanna presses Alejandro’s arm in her chest, Alejandro feels her large breast and blushes; “Uhhmmm…Nurse, what are you doing?”

“I really like strong young men, please call me Johanna, fufufu…I’m still 20 years old…which means our age range is not far off right?”

-GULP- Alejandro looks nervous, Kasumi puts her hand to Johanna’s shoulder; “Johanna, this is serious, stop teasing him…”

“Right, sorry…” Johanna analyzes his arm; “I see that your arm was destroyed, but someone appears to have healed him with mana…”

“It was Marjorie, but the treatment was interrupted because was stabbed by Quetzalcoatl…”

“Uriel was stabbed?” Kasumi reacts nervously, Alejandro nods in agreement; “He was, and Marjorie went to save him…after that…I protected that girl from a food stand and everything went blank…”

“I see, so you don’t know what happened to him…” Kasumi looks down, Alejandro smiles; “Don’t worry senpai, knowing Uriel, he will appear at the last second…”

“You’re right, he will…” Kasumi smiles at Alejandro. She stands up and looks at the window; “Now then, we have various students missing, along with the professors…we must first learn about what is going on here…and that girl knows about it…”

“Mmmhhmmm…” Xochitl slowly opens her eyes, she looks around and begins to cry.

“Uh-oh…” Alejandro looks nervous. Kasumi gets closer to her and hugs her; “Now now, no need to cry…”

Xochitl slowly calms down, Johanna gives her a glass of water.

“Are you alright?”

Kasumi asks but Xochitl answers in ancient Aztec.

Alejandro looks clueless; “What did she say?”

“Wait, I got something that could help us” Kasumi replies as she takes out a sphere and throws it in the ground. The ball opens up releasing a green light.

“This is a special artifact that we can use to understand everyone’s language, we use it when we are in meetings with other people around the world, it called, Translanguaging”

“WWWOOOWW” Alejandro looks surprised, Johanna chuckles; “He is so funny…”

Kasumi gets closer to Xochitl; “Now then, can you understand me…how are you feeling?”

Xochitl understands what Kasumi asks, she smiles and replies:

“I-I-I´m okay, but where is my brother?”

“This is awesome! I didn’t know that Yggdrasl had that technology, when am I getting one?.” Alejandro expresses joy with stars in her eyes. Kasumi turns to see him with anger, Alejandro laughs nervously; “R-R-Right, sorry…”

Xochitl and Johanna chuckle.

“We don’t know where your brother is, I’m sorry” Katsumi replies to Xochitl.

Xochitl looks like she is going to start crying again.

(GGRRROOOOWWWWLLL)

Xochitl’s stomach growls; “I’m hungry…”

Kasumi gives her something to eat, beef stew. Xochitl eats and smiles:

“Thank you it looks delicious”

Alejandro sits next to her with a plate as well; “I know right, this is called caldo con res…I really love it…my name is Alejandro…she is Johanna and Kasumi…”

Xochitl feels comfortable with Alejandro; “I am Xochitl…” both of them eat the stew. Johanna whispers in Kasumi’s ear; “You should ask her what’s going on…”

“Right..” Kasumi asks Xochitl; “Xochitl, can you tell us your story? We would like to know more about you…”

Xochitl looks at Alejandro who smiles at her, Xochitl looks at her stew:

“Very well, I will tell you part of my past”
