《My Innocent Flower ( Jasper Hale x Maleoc)》Chapter 8: Family

It's been a couple of days and they recommended that Sammy didn't see Bella. For both of their sakes.
So that Bella didn't fight with Sammy, and so that Sammy wouldn't worry about Bella's health.
It somehow worked, Sammy spent time with Jasper. Who was more then happy to spend time with his mate.
An Bella wasn't fighting with her brother and is working on her health.
"Jazzy look I made it for you!" Sammy said. While giving Jasper yet another flower crown though he didn't mind it.
"It's lovely my Little Flower." Jasper has been calling Sammy that for the last couple of days.
An Sammy loves it much, like Jasper loves calling him it.
But all to suddenly they heard a loud scream and a crack. As soon as Jasper heard the crack heard the pounding feet of werewolves.
He knew that they weren't happy with Bella being pregnant. Or of the fact the it's a vampire baby that is indeed killing her.
But where's he to take Sammy?
In the house with a screaming Bella?
Or try and get as far away to protect him.
He would have chosen the later, but at that moment Carlisle called and said that he needed help.
"Come on little flower I'm going to take you inside in my room. Now whatever you hear I want you to stay in the room, you understand?" Jasper said as gently as he could while taking him and putting him on the bed.
He turned on some cartoon hoping that with that playing he would stay there.
Sammy though nodded his head and hugged Jasper not understanding what was going on.
All throughout the cartoons though there was screaming and sounds of yelling.
All that Sammy could think of was finding a place to hide.
So that's what he did.

He turned off the T.V and hid in the closet, covering his ears. He could hear growling from outside. and all he could think of was the Cullen's.
Jasper, Alice, Rosalie, Emmet, Esme and Carlisle.
He was hoping that they are ikay. Wondering if they need help.
But most importantly he was thinking of Izzy.
There was screaming and she was the only one that was sick. Though he hasn't seen her in some time, but that's the only conclusion that he's got.
He started crying, he couldn't help it the nosies were getting louder. He was shaking and no one is here with him. This us the most scariest thing that he's heard.
But then suddenly the screaming stopped and all he could hear now was a baby crying.
'But there wasn't any babies here?'
He wanted to leave, but he didn't know if he should. After all Jasper told him to stay, even through all he wants to do is leave.
Suddenly he could hear the door opening and the first thing that came to his mind was to hold his breath.
That idea itself was a bad one, with his condition. Frantically the person was looking around until they opened the closet door.
"Sammy it's me Jasper come on darling it's okay breath for me don't hold it." Sammy gasped for air as his vision started to get a little hazy.
"Jazzy there, there was so many noises. And-and" Sammy said breathing heavily.
"It's okay, it's okay now flower. Let's go down stairs there's someone who you should meet." Jasper says.
"Okay...who?" Sammy asked.
Jasper picked him up.
"It's a surprise..." Jasper says softly.
He carried Sammy downstairs, since they were upstairs and went to living room. Where Rosalie was, she was holding a blanket. But inside it was a little baby girl asleep.

"I didn't know Rose have a child?!" Sammy said while gently patting the baby with his finger.
"She's not mine sweetie, she's Bella's." Rose said gently while sitting on the couch where Sammy quickly sat.
"Oh." Sammy said distracted by the baby while he's letting her play with his fingers.
"Where's Izzy? Oh what's her name?" Sammy said smiling and giggling at the infant.
"Her names Renesme."
Sammy likes the name, it's unique.
"And Bella is..." He looks up when she continues to talk.
"Bella is gone."
"Gone..."
It's been a few minutes and Sammy doesn't quite understand 'gone?' What does that mean.
"Gone? When is she coming back? Where' did she go?" Sammy asked, far to innocent to understand what that meant.
Jasper intervened
"She's just not here at the moment and right now we'll have to watch Renesme. Okay flower?"
Jasper didn't want to say anything he looked so happy looking at the baby. But how will he react to when he figures out what the child really is or how when he finds out that his sister could be dead?
"Oh okay!" Sammy said.
Somewhat sad to learn that his sister was gone yet again. But at least she was coming back that's all that matters.
———————————
Sammy was playing Nessie that's what Jacob calls her and Sammy had to admit that it was cute.
"Peak a boo!" Sammy said giggling at the child that was copying him.
"Why does she look bigger?" Sammy said noticing that her clothes looked smaller and her hair seems to have grown a lot longer.
They all looked at each other and sighed. They we might have to tell him sooner then they would have liked. Jasper was the one to speak.
"Flower can you walk with me f-"
Before he could finish a fuming Bella came out of the house
"You named my baby after the Loch Ness monster!"
And what happened next scared Sammy.
She pick up and threw Jacob at a tree and then out of no where a wolf came out and was about to bite Bella but she punched it.
Sammy was crying scared of what was happening while Emmet was laughing at what was happening.
"Please stop what's going on?" Sammy said quietly but everyone heard him even the fuming Bella. Who looked at him and the child that he was play with.
"What are you doing with her!" Bella said while vamped sped to him.
"I-we-choked cry-" Jasper had enough and intervened in front of her.
"He was playing with his niece while you were recovering!" Jasper said while growling.
"Give me my daughter back!" Bella did with venom.
Jasper gently took the fast growing child and gave her to Bella. All the while glaring at her he gently took the shaking boy and left to go somewhere that wasn't there.
——————————-
Sammy has been quiet for some time. Jasper can feel his emotions and calms him down more then once. While they were sitting there, while Sammy was slowly making flower crowns.
"Are you okay darlin' flower?" Jasper asked mixing the two nicknames together. Hoping that he gains a smile and indeed he did.
"I's fine." He speech was slurred quietly.
Not knowing how he really feels about this. He had questions but doesn't want to ask them, he may be naive and innocent. But he does know when he doesn't want to know something, and this is one of the times he doesn't.
Maybe...

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

The BLOODLANDS
The story follows a young lord in which a middle-aged man reincarnated into the body and gets a second chance at using the knowledge he learns from reading in his past life. No longer bound to the world of his library and university but in a world in which if he failed not only his death but the death of others are in his hands. This concept of the book came about from having two mild heart attacks and the regrets of not being more active in my younger life. Note: The cover of the book is from a painting of Richard the Lionheart at the Battle of Arsuf (1191) during the Third Crusade where he defeated Saladin. Painting by Gustave Doré (19th century).

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter.
