''yes you Nicholas. After. I woke up by Matt shaking me. I also understood the monster I killed was someone who could go back to the past and somehow when I killed it I got to see your past before you were born and after your birth. I told your parents and that's when we all figured out you weren't just a wolf, but also a phoenix. Making you a hybrid of two kinds, the only one of his kind. I tried again and asked your parents for you to come to the school, but now they wanted to protect you even more. So, I let it go and respected that decision yet again. However, after that day it wasn't the same. I don't know how, but somehow Malivore found out about having another son and discovered it was you. That's when me and your parents discussed to tell the others. So, we told the students and your friends who you really were. Because if we were going to keep you safe and away from Malivore. We needed help. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this sooner son''. Nick sighed ''I'm disappointed Ric. I really am. Even if it was to protect me, I should have been told the truth. Something tells me you aren't finished''.

Alaric looked at the boy. ''I really am sorry Nick and no I'm not finished. As for finding your biological mother, we needed more answers. As to why you also were a wolf. So, I asked Roman for help. He didn't find your mother, but he did find out who she was. Your mother wasn't a regular human as we thought. She was indeed a werewolf too, but not a regular werewolf. She was an alpha. That makes you an original werewolf hybrid alpha''. ''wait what? I'm a born alpha?'', Nick asked the adult male. ''yes you are Nicholas. Not only that, but I also found out something new. So, you know Hope's blood can turn werewolves into a hybrid, half wolf and half vampire''. ''yeah, what about that?'', the young boy asked.

''well, you can do something too''. ''what I can?''. ''yes you can''. ''cool. What can my blood do?''. ''well, you see not your blood, but your bite''. Nick raised his brows ''my bite?''. ''what can his bite do, other than be lethal to vampires?'', Hope asked.

Alaric smirked to the teens. ''his bite isn't only lethal to vampires, his bite can turn a regular human into a wolf''. ''what?'', the boy and the girl said in synch. ''somehow Nick you can make humans into wolfs. That's why Malivore wants you so bad. He figured that out and with that he can...'', then Alaric got cut off again. ''he can make an army'', Hope said. ''yes Hope. He can make an army with werewolves with Nick's bite''.

Nick's pov

Wow this information just took a turn. Not only am I a hybrid, but a hybrid alpha. Like wow.

I looked down at the floor for letting it all sink in, then I looked at Ric.

''thank you Ric for telling me. Like I said I'm disappointed, but I'm happy you shared this with me and Hope'', I said as I stood up from the chair as did Ric. ''I just wanted to tell you the truth for once Nick. Not only am I your father's friend and your god father, but I am also someone who cares deeply for you and I see you as my own son and loving you like a one''. Ric said as he held his hands over to me. I didn't accept it, instead I walked around and up to him and gave him a hug. ''thank you dr S and I love you too''.

Hope's pov

As I saw Nick and dr Saltzman my heart just warmed for them. It's good to see that they are on a good term

3rd pov

Alaric and Nick pulled away. Alaric looked at Hope. ''Hope I just wanted to say. Sometimes I haven't treated you right and for that I'm sorry. I hope you can see I just want to be safe and happy, both of you. I also don't just see you as my student Hope, but like a third daughter for me. I know I'm not your father and I can never take his place, but I know for a fact that he and your mother would be so proud of the girl you are today''. ''I know that too'', Nick said looking at his girl.

A tear escaped Hope's eyes and she went where the two males were. ''thank you Nick and you dr Saltzman for saying that. You may not be my father, but you are a father figure for me''. With that Alaric took Hope and hugged her. Nick watched and was smiling at them.

Alaric let go off Hope. ''okay kids. I think that's enough for today. For now, go and have some fun. It's Saturday after all''. They both nodded. Hope went to her boyfriend's side and took his hand and followed them hand in hand out of their headmaster's office.

Alaric smiled at the sight of them ''young love'', he whispered for himself and sat down on his desk.
