He said. We glared at each other hatefully.
He continued.
"Then stop treating us like children." Austin mumbled, looking away.
He replied.
Austin mumbled something under his breath.
He stated.
"I shouldn't even be here! I was framed!" Austin exclaimed.
He replied, sighing.
He commanded. The guards took us back to our cell, leaving both of us alone together.
I sat down on the bed, crossing my legs.
"That was your fault you know." He groaned.
I defended.
He gave me a spiteful look and flipped me off, climbing up to the top bunk, lying down.
I rolled my eyes and stared at the wall for what felt like an eternity, until I heard some guards yelling to go somewhere.

Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known.
