《Their Human》Chapter thirty eight: competition

"Welcome, leader of house Valedria, leader of all vampires." Sapphire greeted, bowing her head respectfully. A tall man stood proud, red eyes staring down at her with a small smile. His equally red suit was ironed and fitted to perfect, multiple badges and ribbons on it showing the man's status and power.

"Sapphire, how are the demons treating you?" He asked, looking around the dining room while running his hand over his slicked back black hair.

All of the guests had finally arrived while the twins and I were in the bedroom and Kaiser had to come and get us again. Fortunately he didn't barge inside the room or else he would have walked in on a lot of nasty things going on.

Like me and the twins making love.

I blushed hard at the thought of the two men working their way with me. The way they caressed my body and touched all of the right areas. It was like they knew my body more than I did, and they made me feel undescribable pleasure.

If I had known they would do that to me, I wouldn't have bothered with Damien and his small weiner.

"They are treating me and Alex just fine. There's no need to worry about us." She said with a smile. "If you have fed you can follow me outside and I'll show you where to sit."

I stared at the man as he followed Sapphire to another room. He was Valedria, the current leader of the vampires. He had a powerful and scary aura, similar to the one Goliath had.

"Don't go missing Lia. I'm supposed to keep an eye on you today." Kaiser said, roughly yanking my ponytail. I hissed and slapped his hand, making him cackle evilly. A few guests looked at me curiously, especially the vampires. They could easily tell that I was human, and seeing me playing around with Kaiser was definitely weird to them.

"Kaiser, are you sure it's a good idea for me to watch this? I can just hide out and find out what happened after they all leave."

Kaiser sighed softly, crossing his arms. "You think I didn't tell Sei that? He wants you to watch him play."

Sei is so sweet, but his sweetness is going to get me in trouble.

"Alright..." I agreed, walking with him to the back doors that led outside. "Where's Alexander?" I wondered outloud.

"Why the hell would you ask about that piece of—"

"You really want to finish that sentence?" A voice interrupted behind us. Speak of the devil. Kaiser and I spun around to see Alexander hovering over us, dressed in a black shirt and chinos pants. He finished his look with expensive dress shoes. He did not look like he was taking part of the competition. He looked like he was going to watch.

"Uhh... Aren't you supposed to be in tracksuits or something?" I asked him, staring at his shoes. I could see my reflection on them because of how shiny they were. Alexander gave me a little smirk.

"I don't need tracksuits to win. I can easily do so in my usual attire." He said to me, holding my ponytail and playing with it. Kaiser stared at us weirdly, pointing at us. "You guys friends now?"

Alexander grinned at Kaiser, making the demon growl lowly. "No, a little bit more than that." He answered, making Kaiser nearly pounce on him before Goliath interrupted us.

"Alexander, why are you still here? We are waiting for you."

"Sorry father." Alexander apologized respectfully. He let go of my hair and held me cheek, kissing it softly. "Cheer for me." He whispered, making my cheeks burn. He backed away and walked outside, not before lifting his middle finger at Kaiser. Goliath looked at me with raised eyebrows but didn't say anything.

I grabbed Kaiser's hand and pulled him outside. We walked to two empty seats and sat down. The once empty field was now a fancy arena. It was divided into three different sections. A section with a desk and chairs for the mental challenge and a section with a complicated obstacle course for the physical challenge. I looked at the third area. It was much bigger and it was surrounded by weapons of all kinds. Axes, daggers, clubs and more. It was a scary section.

"Are you going to tell me what the hell just happened between you and Alex?" Kaiser asked, grabbing a bowl of sweets from a maid that walked past with a tray. He ate a gummy worm, passing the bowl to me.

"It's no big deal, Alexander and I are cool." I told him, eating a small chocolate.

"No way, and the twins allowed that?"

"Yeah..." They kind of don't have a choice when it comes to Alexander. "Can you explain the mate bond in relation to vampires. There's something —"

"Shhhh! They're starting!" Kaiser hissed, pointing at the field. I looked where he pointed, seeing the twins, Alexander and around eight other creatures that I assumed were the other contestants. One of them had long butt length hair that was yellow in colour. He had pointed ears, like they belonged to an elf. He was really tall and skinny.

"Fae. One of the most powerful ones on this land." Kaiser told me, "That guy right there is good at using weapons, he's going to be a hard one to beat."

I nodded and looked to another one. He was bald and had extremely big muscles. They were not the attractive type, they were scary bodybuilder muscles that looked like they would explode. "Who's that? Satan?" I asked softly. I received looks of amusement from other creatures, making me shrink in my seat.

I need to shut my mouth so I don't get any attention on me.

"He's a shifter." Kaiser told me. I nodded slowly and nearly screamed when something zoomed over my head. I cowered away and looked up, seeing a grown ass woman with massive yellow wings. "What the hell!" I shrieked, grabbing Kaiser's arm.

"Relax! It's a fairy, they're going to be watching from above to make sure that no-one cheats." Kaiser told me, patting my hand. "Please let go of me before you rip my flesh off."

I looked up again, watching the blonde woman shrink to the size of a golf ball and flutter around the field at an incredible speed. She looked like a small yellow flower in the air because she was in a yellow dress.

"Seriously, if you want to blend in, you need to stop looking surprised about everything here." Kaiser whispered to me.

"Yeah yeah... Can I have a pet fairy—" I asked.

A hand slapped over my face, trying to cover my mouth. Kaiser glared at me like I was a psychopath. "Are you nuts? You can't call them that! It's an insult beyond measure!"

Goodness, is everything I say a problem here?

"Okay, I'll keep my mouth shut." I groaned, staring at my boyfriends instead. They looked so ready for this, so focused, so sexy...

"Attention everyone, before we begin we would like to introduce the leaders that will be judging this competition." Sofia said, clapping her hands. She pointed to three people and smiled wildly.

"Goliath, head of demons. Valedria, head of vampires and Nazi, head of werewolves."

We all clapped our hands for them. I could see why they were heads. They looked terrifying and they were massive in size. Definitely tyrant material.

"Let the competition commence!"

The competition started pretty good on our end. The intelligence round was a bunch of really complicated questions that I couldn't even answer. Sei easily won that round, Alexander coming second place.

The second round was the obstacle course. Sei, Silas and Alexander were neck and neck so they had to do a rematch. Silas won because of his speed, Sei came second and Alexander third. He was definitely more agile than the twins but Sei destroyed him when it came to strength.

Silas was right, Alexander was strong but not enough to beat them.

The other species were always last place and the werewolves were not happy about the one representing them. They were swearing and booing at the man, making him even more discouraged.

I looked around the place, seeing all of these creatures cheering in excitement about this event. It was kind of endearing to see them all so united. It wasn't something I saw often back at home.

"Thats my boy! Go Alex!" Sapphire screamed, cheering loudly at her son. I smiled at her. She was actually such a really good mother. She cared a lot for Alexander.

I continued looking around, my eyes widening when I saw Sharlene. She looked like she was in extreme agony, seated on the lap of a creepy looking vampire. She was in purple lingerie and had duct tape on her mouth. I could see a lot of whip marks on her that I had not seen last night. Did Alexander whip them?

The vampire bent down and sunk its teeth into her neck, making me quickly look away. That is not something I wanted to see. I was about to talk to Kaiser when Sofia announced the last round.

"Right, we have five contestants left. Sei, Silas, Alexander, Belencia, Bezel."

Belencia was the fae and Bezel was the shifter.

"They will now fight with any weapon of their choice... To the death!"

My mouth gaped open. To the what!?
