Four mannequins were racing toward Leo. If Leo was scared then he did a great job at hiding it. Leo Fought the enemies head-on. Reading his sword, the blade heated to a bright white! Dashing forward he sliced his blade through the first mannequin cleanly. The up in power almost felt negligible to him! How exactly powerful was Leo? I think it'd be wise to never get on his bad side. I'm just glad he and I have been friendly so far. Lowering his stance, putting his left leg in front while he gains power with his right leg he hurled himself at the mannequins.
He cut through the first one with a right slash at its neck, beheading it. Two more jumped in the air looking to land on him with their spears. He flicked his wrist creating a small spark at his fingertips. That spark turned into a large pillar of flames going easily twenty feet into the air before subsiding. The one-gray mannequins were now a charred black color before dispersing into shards of light. Signaling their defeat.
DONG…DONG….DONG. A loud bell that you'd hear to signify class is over in school played so loud I had to cover my ears
“Congratulations on surviving wave one!” A robotic voice said
“I am, Vyrie. Your artificial intelligence in Simulated Combat Training, SCT for short.
Wave two will be commencing once you press the middle red button.”
As the voice faded, in the middle of the huge box room a three-foot-tall pillar with a button spawned.
“So… what now?” Leo said as he dispelled the heat within his blade.
“I guess we take a breather and start the second wave?” Ty said
“Yeh sounds like a plan. But I have a question for you both. How and why did you guys get here?” I said
Both Ty and Leo began laughing.
“Were orphans that so happened decided to pick a fight with Master Polo. Master Polo was fighting our gang leader and obviously, we tried to fight back. We got our asses more than handed to us. Polo dashed at us and with one finger broke all of our ribs. Our leader, bronco. He got it way worse, Polo tore his arm off and used it to bash him into a wall. Killing him instantly.

But Polo said he saw potential in us and he brought us here, And that's where we have been for the last year and a half. “ Leo said
“How did you get the sword then?”
“I stole it of course. Since you also are merged with your Chalice I guess I can tell you.
I know about the Nipyhen within this sword and we entered a “contract”. She lets me use the fire of justice and I will be her weapon to fight against her so-called “evil” This type of contract is much different than yours.”
“What the hell is a Chalice?” I asked
“Well, there are apparently twelve chalices out there each holding one Nipyhin.
Their power leaks into the chalice letting your gain a little bit of its power. But if your drink the chalice, “merging with the Nipyhin” You gain more power but at the risk of losing your sanity or even life.”
“That's top secret info ya know.” Ty said pointing a finger at me”
“Yeh, we only know this because Master Polo is trying to gather all of the remaining chalice pieces so he can bring them into his Zero point bomb. But with cases like yours and mine, severing the connection between us will cost us our lives. That's why Polo is training us. To kill the other chalice wielders or drinkers. That's my goal at least. But I guess I'm also getting stronger because within my contract with Arel, Her burning desire to kill her innately evil siblings falls within her sense of judgment. So I must kill all those she deems evil. I'm practically her pawn for whatever plan she has.”
What the hell? I thought
Leo's swords began to glow with a radiance once more.
“Who knew Nyle who was once adamant on never choosing a successor will now have a successor as handsome as you,” I assumed Arel said from the sword.
“Once you become Niyphen I wonder what your siblings will do with you. No previous Power Niyphen has reached the full extent of its power. Even Nyle didn't have enough potential to reach the third stage. This is why even though the name suggests it'd be the strongest. That's only true in theory. You'd have to have an infinite amount of potential to utilize that Niyphens power.” Arel said practically mocking Nyle and me

“That's why out of all of us the power Niyphen is always the shortest lived. They're too weak so they die to humans more than old age!”
Are you guys not like immortal gods? I asked Nyle in my head
We live for about a thousand years before our physical bodies deteriorate to the point we cant use them. Spiritually speaking yes were immortal. But father wants us to pass down the Niyphens power and choose another person to be our successors. We Niyphen are fathers' children. We chose twelve people across the planet as a way to keep the peace. He did this by fragmenting his soul into twelve pieces. Nyle said
How do you know this? Well, my predecessor told me, and he told him, and so on and so forth.
But I always hated listening to that story and always despised wanting to tell it. It's dumb to me.
Yeh, I think I have a migraine just listening to that.
Snapping back to reality I noticed there was a Giant snake at least twenty feet tall staring at Us.
Oh no, come the fuck on! I'm tired of these fucking things. I haven't slept in over three days. An untapped rage filled me. Wind swirling around my hands coalescing into the brass knuckles.
“Woah I didn't even know I could do this?!
The giant snake with scales of jade. Eyes of amethyst. This snake was completely made out of gemstones! Without even looking at the others I used the wind to blast off the ground. I soared through the air bringing back my fist in order to gain a good amount of momentum to be able to crack this snake's scales. Swinging my fist right into the snake's jaw there was no knockback to the snake. I only cracked a single scale shattering like glass. I dropped back to the ground slowing my descent with the wind. I tried to amass even more wind to make these wind knuckles stronger. Doing so made me reach my output limit. Making me scream out in pain. But really these were really just Ki cramps that can be fixed with a little stretching.
Ty was already blasting away as he had a machine gun that was cracking but not shattering multiple scales along the snake. Leo was trying to use fire to beat it but the fire had almost no effect on the snake only mending the cracked pieces on the snake back together.
“What! Stop using your fire your just repairing the damage I do to it, Leo!”
“Fire can never be beaten, what do you mean?”
“BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!”
I hate this too much noise I need to relax. I'm going to fucking kill this snake! I need my knuckle duster again, no I need a gauntlet!
“Wind I hear by command you to wrap yourself around my fist and be my weapons!”
Wind swirled with Ki creating a solid gauntlet around my forearm.
I summoned wind beneath my feet to raise me to the head of the snake.
“I'm so fucking tired snake! I'm going to destroy you with one blow!”
I was on autopilot. My increasing violence was showing that.
I hurled myself at the snake's head. My gauntlet on my right arm was going to blow this snake's head straight to the ground. I was above the head now. Dropping my rising wind I freefalled. Using even more wind to accelerate my descent.
“Falling Wind!” I screamed
With a single blow I knocked the snake's head down to the ground shattering every single gem scale on it. Revealing a black body underneath. I was falling down when it raised it head once again,
“You're still kicking?”
‘Calm after the fall!” I shouted
It was natural to me a skill I didn't know I had. Detaching the solid gauntlet from my hand shaping it into a spear. I spun my body to gain power and threw the spearing with enough force to not only kill this thing. I had enough force to completely bore a hole five by five feet into its head.
Landing on its body, hearing even more of its bone
“He's more beast than human Leo…”
“He scares me too Ty”
I looked at my hands and I saw my arms go from veiny and muscular to skinny.
So I was using my Nipyhen…

Time And Thoughts
This a book is where I freely express and convey emotions and my thoughts about topics. It's a place where I spend my TIME putting my THOUGHTS into words in hopes of helping someone. I've written these poems in such a way, so that my viewers can derive their own meaning from them. For me as a person I tend to feel more comforted, when down, by listen to music or reading poems, in which the poem or song is hopeless and gives off the feeling of the protagonist being bluntly hurt. In my poems I write without words of encouragement, but instead comfort the reader through understanding and allowing them to feel.If you ever feel the need to talk to someone or want to know the meaning of one of my poems or just wanna say something feel free to comment or private message me.Please enjoy and be comforted by my book.Highest ranking:#1 poems#1 poembook#2 poemcollection#2 poem#3 poetry#3 poetrycollection#5 sadpoems#5 thoughts#8 emotions#13 freeverse#17 hopeless#20 feelings#24 sadness#36 depressing #44 updating#56 life#70 sad#87 poet
