《DBD oneshots》33 - Run, but don't hide... (The Knight x Vittorio)

Vittorio opens his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar place. He looks around, still getting used to trials and the different maps. He sees that everything looks dead, a red fog covering the ground. He spots another survivor, Bill was it? (WORSHIP BILL! He's a cool guy, that's why he shows up almost every oneshot U-U)
He walks over to the old survivor, tapping his shoulder. "Um, Bill was it? Where are we?" Bill shakes his head. "It's new to me too, Vittorio. It showed up when you showed up." Vittorio nods. "Um, I'll stick with you. You seem to know what you're doing." Bill nods.
"Let's go find a gen, I'll show you how to get it done without any mistakes." Vittorio nods. He's glad someone here is willing to help. They arrive at a gen, and Bill starts giving Vittorio tips and advice on the best way to do a gen. Vittorio tries to follow it, and slowly gets the hang of it.
"You're already a natural at it." Bill says, making Vittorio smile. "Thanks." The gen roared to life, and Vittorio jumps back. "That means it's done. We repaired it. 4 more and we are out of here." Bill says, and Vittorio nods. "I'm going to find the others, you try and stay out of trouble." Bill says, and walks off.
Vittorio wanders around, feeling an earie feeling about this place. He continued to wander, until he heard a cry of agony. It was female, and it rung throughout the map again when she was hooked. He frantically looked around, he heart pounding in his ears.
He heard another scream, this time more masculine, along with the laugh a lunatic would make. He saw something blue out of the corner of his eye, but when he turned to find it, it was gone. Vittorio started running in the opposite direction, he heart still ringing in his ears, desperately trying to run from something that probably wasn't there.

Or was it?
He screamed as something slashed his side. He had a burst of energy, and began running faster. He looked being him, and saw a strange creature with an axe raised above it's head, laughing just like the other he heard.
He was able to outrun it before it just vanished. Into nothingness. Vittorio stood there confused. He didn't realize that someone already died, since he was too focused on getting away. He also noticed no gens have been completed except the one him and Bill did.
Vittorio limped to anywhere he thought was "safe". He waited, not being able to heal himself, for someone to pass him by. To his luck, a boy that looked rather young was near. The boy rushed over to Vittorio.
"You must be Vittorio. William was telling me about you." Vittorio looked at him confused. "Who's William?" The boy laughed. "Right, you're new. That's Bill. His real name is William, Bill is just a nickname. I'm Quentin by the way." Vittorio nods.
Quentin healed Vittorio, and be bowed his head in thanks. "Please be safe. You may be able find the hatch, since me and Bill are already on death hook." Vittorio was about to ask what he meant by that, but the boy was gone. Vittorio sighed. He didn't even know who the killer was yet.
He continued his wandering about, avoiding those creatures, and getting used to the map. He heard a scream nearby, and another following as the person was hooked. He saw these claws pulling something up into the sky, and a noise ringing through the map notifying everyone that someone died.
Then he heard it. His heartbeat again. He wonders why he could hear it. But it's pace quickened at an alarming rate, and he did what instincts told him to do. Hide. He saw a locker and bolted for it. His heartbeat never seeming to slow. He was trying his best to keep quiet, but his breathing was uneven and loud.

Until he saw an all too familiar knight heading in his direction. He held his breath, as the Knight looked around. Vittorio hoped and prayed that Tarhos wouldn't check the lockers. Tarhos stopped in front of the locker he was hiding in, and he seemed to be staring right at Vittorio. But, he slowly turned his head, and walked off.
Vittorio let out a breath of relief, then he slowly got out of the locker. He still can't figure out what the heartbeat means, but he has a theory it's basically a warning for if a killer is near. He'll ask Bill later. Vittorio slowly walked towards a ruggidy looking place, but not before hearing the scream of the last survivor besides him.
Vittorio knew at that moment he was not going to make it out of this. He was definitely going to die. He heard the agonizing scream of a survivor dying on hook. And that's when he ran. In a random direction, but he ran. He found another locker and hid. He was scared. He then remembered the words of Quentin. That he'll probably be able to find the hatch. But what's the hatch?
He was trying to figure out what the hatch was, ignoring the loud and quick heartbeat in his ears. He was snapped out of his thoughts when be heard a voice he never wanted to hear again. "I know you're here, Vittorio. And I'm here to warn you. You may run and hide all you want, but I'll find you." He saw Tarhos looking directly at him through the locker.
"And it seems like I already have." And he slowly approached the locker. Slowly, ever so slowly, and Vittorio took that moment to run. He bolted out of the locker and ran as fast as he could. He made the mistake of looking back, and saw Tarhos hot on his heals. Vittorio tried to run faster, but he was slowly getting exhausted, and he was starting to slow down.
Vittorio felt a large hand grab him by the back of his neck and throw him to the ground. Vittorio yelped as his head made contact with the ground, causing a massive headache to start forming. He saw the Knight lean down close to him, holding a sword to his throat.
"I told you, run all you want. Hide. But you cannot escape me. I will always find you, Vittorio." He said, his voice just above a whisper. Vittorio was struggling against the blade at his neck, and staying conscious. Everything around him was blurry. The last thing he saw was the intimidating helmet of Tarhos, before evey thing went black.
Tarhos laughed. He threw Vittorio over his shoulder and carried him over to the door in the ground. He still couldn't figure out what it was, but he knew it was a survivors last escape. He threw Vittorio down next to it, and stood there, waiting for him to wake up.
Vittorio was out for a good 15 minutes. But when he did wake up, he was met with Tarhos's intimidating frame hovering above him. He jumped back, crawling backwards some before being pulled up by the neck, feet now dangling over the ground. He struggles against the strong grip of the metal glove, but his attempts were useless in the end.
He opened his eyes to see a man with brown, almost black hair covering most of his face. (I don't know what the Knight looks like, fan art is limited, bare with me)
"I'll let you escape this time, but next time we see each other, I won't go easy on you. You will be in for a rough time." And with those last words, Vittorio was thrown into a door in the ground. He saw Tarhos pick up his helmet, seeing a huge, horrifying grin on the killers face before it was hidden by the helmet again.
Vittorio was terrified for his next trial.
