Bronze Seat Heng felt it as his eyes widened.
“No!”
Bam!
****
Blood dyed the sky, painting a harrowing scene.
Half of what was left of Gang Heng’s body was blown off by Long Di’s attack just now.
The bones jutting out were a gruesome thing to see, and the organs that writhed within caused some people to vomit.
“Again!”
Long Di was relentless as he pressed his attack on Gang Heng. He only needed one more strike to finish him off!
However, the voice had truly shaken him this time, but since he decided to kill Gang Heng, he persevered to carry it out.
Shu!
He pierced the sabre this time towards the Bronze Seat’s head.
“You dare!”
A muscular hand came over and slapped the sabre from Long Di’s hand before it grabbed Bronze Seat Heng and took him away!
Long Di stared at this new arrival with little interest save for the latter’s interference.
“You’re…”
Standing before Long Di and holding Bronze Seat Heng was a four-armed, yellow-skinned demon whose body was jacked!
One arm supported Gang Heng while the other three were folded behind him.
“So you’re Long Di.”
“Do I know you?” Long Di thought he looked familiar, but he didn’t remember meeting this demon.
“It’s Zhen Yong!” one expert called out in shock.
“Thank you, miscellaneous expert.” Long Di called out.
Zhen Yong was the head of the Zhen family, one of the ten grand families of the Demon Region, and the father of Zhen Song and Zhen Paohui.
He was immensely powerful as he stood at the same height of power as Bronze Seat Heng.
“Hand over the spiritual vein root now! Do that and I’ll let you leave.”
“What!?”
When the other experts heard this, they were shocked!
They heard about how Zhen Yong’s sons were duly humiliated in succession by Long Di. So much so that they required several weeks of recovery. Not only that, based on Full Metal Er Jinshu’s recount of what happened in the Spiritual Bingqi Realm, his eldest son Zhen Song was killed by Long Di.
They knew that Zhen Yong was a vengeful man. For him to let Long Di off after relieving him of the spiritual vein root was unlike him, and it confused many of his contemporaries.
“You’re going to let me off?” Long Di was a bit surprised at this. He wasn’t so naïve to think that Zhen Yong didn’t know that he killed his son.
“Yes, I’ll let you off. Now hand it over.” Zhen Yong held his hand out.
“Give me Gang Heng,” Long Di requested.

Zhen Yong’s expression darkened. “You think you’re in a position to bargain with me? I’m a super expert that others can only look up to! ”
Long Di shrugged, “You’re right, I’m losing face by bargaining with you, but I’m a pretty chill super-er expert, so it’s fine.”
“Die!”
Dum!
Zhen Yong’s cauldrons burst into being without warning.
A massive palm rippling with somatic essence spanned the sky and bore down on Long Di!
When he felt the boundless pressure the palm radiated, he knew he couldn’t be careless here, so he had to go all out!
“Cauldron suppression.”
D-D-Dum!
The formless pressure of Long Di’s cauldrons spread out for miles as he unleashed it without reserve.
The palm dimmed in speed and power, prompting Long Di to take action.
Vrrrm!
Krrrsh!
He held his weapon before him as sabre intent laced the blade and lightning jumped wildly over the surface.
As the palm grew larger in Long Di’s eyes, he took action.
Bam!
He unleashed a powerful slash that crashed into the palm, sending shockwaves spreading in all directions!
Long Di took a dozen steps back in the sky before he was able to offset the force and stabilise himself.
Zhen Yong was startled that Long Di was able to fend off his attack like that!
“Let’s see how much of my attacks you can endure!”
He willed his cauldrons to increase the blazing intensity of his essence flames but he was shocked to find that Long Di’s cauldronic pressure rendered such an act nigh impossible.
Zhen Yong was bewildered as to the grade of these cauldrons.
Suddenly, both he and Long Di looked in one direction before Zhen Yong broke all reservations!
“Here!”
He threw Bronze Seat Heng to the demon standing watching below.
Shu!
Long Di rushed to catch Bronze Seat Heng first to finish him off.
“Get your ass back over here!”
How could Zhen Yong allow him to act as he pleased?
Whoosh!
He appeared before Long Di in a split second.
Two hands were now in use and he clapped them together, sending a powerful shockwave hurtling towards Long Di!
The latter remembered this attack back when he had finished his fight against the nitu demon the first time.
Bang!
The shockwave crashed into Long Di, which sent him flying like a comet!
“Puah!”
Long Di coughed up a mouthful of blood from the attack. His already grievous injuries were being further exacerbated by his opponent’s attack.
Zhen Yong pressed the offensive and took off after him. He then appeared behind Long Di before seizing him by the neck with a powerful grip.

“Now gi-”
Pu Ci!
“Ah!”
Before he could finish his threat, Long Di’s sabre had already dug into one of his lower arms and was about to cut it off when Zhen Yong flung him away in a hurry!
Long Di was able to quickly regain his footing as he faced the Zhen family head.
Sweat beaded from Zhen Yong’s brow as he squared off against Long Di.
Shu! Shu! Shu!
The void rumbled as several figures appeared in an instant. When he saw them, Zhen Yong’s expression fell.
“No!”
He wanted to end this before these other experts arrived.
Shu!
Long Di felt the hair on the back of his head raise and he turned around and raised his sabre in a hurry!
Bang!
A leg broke through the void and landed on the sabre, sending him flying off once more!
Another mouthful of blood left him as he flew. He quickly tried to stop his flight when a palm with hundreds of lines on it emerged from the void aiming for his head!
Hong!
Whoosh!
The myriad profound heavenseize physique was summoned almost immediately and a plume of crimson horizon earth flame bellowed out, bombarding the palm with its insane heat.
“Hmph!”
A scoff sounded as the palm blasted through the flame. It was blackened by the flame, but its power was still there as it landed square on Long Di’s chest!
“Ack!”
He smashed into the ground with a thunderous crash, leaving others to guess his life or death.
“Long Di!”
Not just Yaomu Shou, but Xiannu Liang, Mina, Jia Yan, Zi Yu and Shen Ling who was being kept up to date by the others called out at the same time.
This was shameless to the extreme as they saw several grand family heads and top sect leaders within the Demon Region surround the area where Long Di landed.
These couldn’t be compared with the earlier rabble. Everyone here was at the ninth or eighth fusion, at least.
To top it all off, they sneak-attacked Long Di when the latter had his attention on Zhen Yong.
A gu demon waved his hand, dispelling the dust that hid Long Di from sight.
When the demons saw the state of Long Di, they couldn’t stop themselves from being in awe.
Cracks ran rampant across the surface of his body as blood bathed him in its scarlet drapes. One side of his chest was sunken in, which was a clear indication of the upper ribs there being crushed.
However, it was not the severity of the injuries that garnered their awe, no; it was the fact that despite these injuries he was standing ramrod straight, staring down his adversaries.
His eyes spoke of no surrender, no fear and no panic. With his sabre in hand, Long Di stood against the majority of the most powerful of what the Demon Region had to offer.
Even the ones that did this to him, couldn’t help themselves from being moved by this young man.
“Do you have any last words?” a polearm-wielding demon Long Di had never seen before asked.
His gaze slid in this demon’s direction, and he raised his hand before raising even higher a particular finger.
The demons that surrounded him recognised this gesture and couldn’t help chuckling to themselves.
“So this marks your last words.”
This kid had the audacity to flip them off even with death so close.
Maybe it's because he was about to die, but they found it a bit funny.
However, Bronze Seat Heng, when he saw this, felt his chest tighten as he struggled to warn them.
“N-No! Sto- Ack!”
Blood choked back his words, rendering him incomprehensible.
This didn’t escape the other experts, and a bad feeling immediately sprouted in their hearts.
Krrrsh!
Out of nowhere, lightning crackled from Long Di’s finger more furiously than it ever had before!
The demons saw this and rushed to take action, but before they could, lightning spears by the boatloads manifested before them!
Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu!
The spears shot off towards them at the same time burying them in a sea of lightning!
One of them realised that something was off when the first couple of spears landed on his body.
“Ignore these! They’re just a distraction!”
Hong!
Above them, dark clouds formed that blotted out the sun!
“W-What is this!?”
The spatial displacement was finally closing at this point, but they could see that this was something that Long Di had called down.
Boom!
Suddenly, a crack appeared in the clouds above, and a massive finger of lightning peeked through.
When Yaomu Shou saw it, a smile appeared on her face and she was about to tell Ban Yan and Wan Li to take her and the others farther away when…
Shu!
Pu Ci!
Blood splashed as a violet hand pierced through Long Di’s back before coming out through his gut!
“L-Long Di!”
Yaomu Shou despaired when she saw who it was.
Following this, the lightning that crackled so furiously before quickly petered out.
The finger then vanished followed by the dispersal of the dark clouds.

There will be polls for other purposes, and I might not always go with the poll winner if I feel one of the other options is more fun to read/write about. I will not use the settings of other RRL writers without their permission.Do not ask for that, unless the author in question gives permission. Most settings he visits will be slightly AU in some way or another, but please remind me if I drift too far from canon unintentionally or characterize a character wrongly. This work will eventually fit all tags I selected once he visits universes suited to those tags, so don't ask when or where a given tag is coming. I do not own the cover art, it belongs to Nicholas Belanger Thiel, and I will stop using it if he asks me to. Kellan doesn't look like the old man on the cover, though once he acquires a disguise-type ability he may occasionally use that appearance. The tapir, however, will be a thing, as despite looking like a failed attempt at an elephant, tapirs are cool and this dragon finds them to be kinda cute.
