《Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World》Chapter 208: Planting an Elemental Spirit Seed

It was in this chamber where Dyne and Meta spoke and when Strafe agreed to bestow the secret Sprite art of imparting an Elemental Spirit Seed.
Meta asked Dyne to plant an Elemental Spirit Seed in Dyne. The act sounded simple, but in truth, it was difficult.
But Dyne had done this already. His mad desires and enlightened will gave him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create the Lightning-Fire Elemental Soul Seed of Grim making Grim a pseudo. Ra-Seru.
Now with two serus captured, Dyne decided to take advantage of this and headed here first. He wanted to create two more. So he demanded that Strafe cough up the art of planting an Elemental Spirit Seed from Strafe, and Strafe obliged.
As Grim had turned into the Heart of Nox, Dyne was confident that he could do these to the two serus and Strafe believed Dyne's chances of success were also high. And so, the knowledge was imparted to Dyne.
Dyne stood a few feet away from the Vera and the Zenoir and harnessed the elements.
“Everyone. Release our elements.” Dyne ordered, and everyone did.
Earth, Brimstone, Fire, Lightning, Time/Space, and Dark surrounded the area. Strafe watched how Dyne's intuitive nature took over and masterfully wielded the elements. The goal was to create a new Elemental Spirit Seed for the Zenoir in the middle of the two so that both Fire and Holy would be present.
When Strafe aided Dyne in forming his Brimstone Heart, he used up his life to bestow Holy Energy, and it was that Holy power from Strafe which helped the Zenoir obtain a soul constitution of both Holy and Fire.
And now, Dyne added Brimstone to the Holy Vera to help it move towards the other side.
“Let’s hope you make another miracle.” Strafe hoped as he watched the process. Compared to when they created an Elemental Spirit Seed for Grim, Dyne had no enlightened state now, nor was there an obsessed desire present.
Yet, Dyne decided to try it.
With the power of Earth and Brimstone, Dyne began to de-petrify the stone energy that covered the Zenoir’s soul. The parts of the Zenoir that was being de-petrified would have turned into stone immediately because of the curse the Basilisk left on the Zenoir. But Dyne had something that could counter the curse.
Jedo began to use Time/space energy to slow the petrification process. And so, the speed of the Zenoir’s being de-petrified was faster than the curse of the Basilisk.

With that, Dyne used the Monster Hive and harnessed the energy to take in the Earth energy of the Zenoir.
“Man… That Basilisk really was strong… To think it had this much Earth Energy! Just how long until this petrification curse ends?” Dyne wondered.
“I thought you would like it.” Strafe laughed.
Then Dyne realized what it was.
“Of course! This is how petrification in some Final Fantasy games works! The countdown to petrification!” Dyne cheered.
“Erm… Master Dyne. Please concentrate.” Jedo reminded.
“Oh! Right! Anyway, It’s working! But Jedo, leave out the parts and limbs of the Zenoir so that it couldn’t move. We don’t want that, do we?” Dyne laughed.
Jedo obliged.
The power of Earth devoured the petrifying power over the Zenoir, but Dyne left out the parts of the Zenoir that prevented it from moving.
“ROAR!” The awakened Zenoir began to shout and tremble as more of its body was no longer petrified.
Dyne began and shot the Brimstone to attack the Zenoir and the Vera causing both to cry in pain.
The purging of Brimstone had a painful effect on the souls of the serus. Their physical forms were being breached by Brimstone, the element known as the breacher of Dimensions. The purged souls turned into mist-like energy, and the souls were dispersing.
Jedo began to devour the dispersing soul of the two and released a thin layer of Mist that was continually feeding the two serus.
"That's purging. Now to feed you and replace that nasty, evil souls you two have." So Dyne released the energy and did a similar process to Grim when Dyne arrived in Rim Elm.
Dyne was feeding the two Serus with his Soul energy. But when Dyne did this to Grim, it was just using his raw soul energy. But with these two, Dyne was feeding them Bromstone Soul energy.
"Since they are Sprites, which are soul creatures, I need to reshape the elements of their Soul before we create a Soul Seed! The Zenoir has the foundation, But I'm preparing it to have a soul seed that can house Brimstone! And the Vera can easily learn fire if he learns Brimstone!"
The Zenoir that was fire and had a bit of Holy trapped in him began to resonate with wild energy. The Holy was becoming part of its body.

The Elemental Soul Seed that was forming had both elements.
The Vera was also developing an Elemental Soul Seed through the process.
“A Holy Zenoir and a Brimstone Vera. Quite ambitious.” Strafe laughed as he saw how Dyne handled the first part.
The Zenoir and the Vera began to scream, and both created was defending against the attacks by releasing their respective powers.
“Get ready, everyone. They are about to attack!” Dyne warned.
When Dyne found Grim, he was dying and was outside the source of the Mist. So Grim had no means of fighting back, and Dyne was only hurt by taking in the pure energy of Grim’s soul. And so, the clumsy and very primitive process that Dyne used to convert Grim worked. But the Zenoir only had a petrified soul, which was now being lifted. And it could still fight back.
“ROAR!” The Zenoir roared, and a powerful heat erupted. The rocky surface of the Zenoir was burning. This was the first stage of its ‘Fire Claw’ attack that it would use against the players in Legend of Legaia. It would cover itself with fire and shoot it out. The heat that was appearing was also similar.
“Hmph!” The Wild Arm rose and pointed its barrel directly at the Zenoir, and it began to take in the fire energy that the Zenoir was releasing.
Dyne was burnt from the heat, but now with the Ifrit devouring the flames, Dyne could concentrate.
The entire room would have melted and burned if Ifrit did not devour the energy as it was instructed to. Jedo created a force field that prevented the fires from raging out.
“SKREEEE!” The Vera screeched loudly, and white energy erupted.
Rena had arrived and was watching the scene outside the force field of Jedo.
“That light!” She was shocked at such a horrifying means of using light.
While Vera was a Seru of the Light, the energy that it released was actually devouring life energy!
Dyne realized that the ‘blood-sucker’ attack of the Vera was translated into its ability that can store life energy in its soul and, once full, may bestow it to another, creating a healing spell.
“Jedo!” Dyne called out
Jedo quickly intervened and released Death energy that made Vera suffer whenever it attempted to devour the group.
The two began to attack, and Grim and the Theeder Kokatorimon suddenly had a hard time trying to restrain the Vera because of the absorbing light.
“Kokatorimon! Attack it with your lighting! You need to stop the two from making a concentrated attack!” Dyne ordered.
"Yes, Master!" Kokatorimon then used his Theeder arms and pointed at the two.
ZAP! ZAP!
Two beams struck the Serus.
"Grim. Can you bear Kokatorimon's attack?"
"Yes!" Grim answered confidently as it continued to wrap itself around the Vera.
"Good! Let's keep this up!"
Kokatorimon was a Maverick with a Fire and Lightning element, and this allowed him to assist the group. He could easily resist the fire of the Zenoir and stayed within the shield, and attacked the Zenoir and the Vera preventing them from releasing all of their powers.
The struggle continued, and Dyne could see Brimstone's energy from the souls of the two.
"The conversion has begun. But unlike Grim, these two remain wild even though their Yang souls have a huge Yin in them." Dyne cursed. Grim became neutral when he bestowed his soul, but the two seemed very resilient.
"It's the Mist. These two live near the Mist Generator. The concentration of darkness in them is too high!" Jedo answered.
Suddenly, the Vera exploded out a bright light and made a desperate attack to devour the life energy of Grim, who was wrapped around him.
Jedo acted and shot darkness at the mouth of the Vera where the life energy was being absorbed.
“No good! The Vera will die if I keep releasing this death energy!" Jedo told Dyne.
“Big brother Dyne! Let me in! I can help! I can keep bestowing life energy to the Vera!” Rena suddenly volunteered.
“What?!” Dyne was stunned.
“Lady Rena…” Arya was amazed.
“I can help. And I want to grow stronger. That power that the Seru called the Vera is now releasing is a strange light power. I believe I can understand more about light energy if you let me in! Please! I can help you!” Rena declared.
