《Never Die》Chapter 12

I sat in my living room waiting on my dad. I also brought Lucy along thinking the two would hit it off; shoot, might even be mates. I was planning on changing my dad tonight.
"So what exactly is your plan?" Lucy asked me.
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Didn't you hear me in the cave."
"Yes, I did but I didn't understand it completely. You said that Santa Carla will fall and we will take it over. What exactly do you plan on doing?" She asked leaning forward in her seat curiously.
"You know curiosity can be deadly," I smirked. "but I want to grow our coven. Max was to weak to do that, but I wont fail."
"But will it not be harder to control a larger coven?" Lucy asked.
"No, why would I need to control it?" I asked her.
Before she could ask anything else, my dad pulled into the driveway and we heard the car door shut. A minute later he was walking through the front door. "Scarlett?"
"Hi, dad" I said as I got up from the chair and hugged him. As he hugged me back, he asked "Um.. Scarlett who is this?" Once he pulled away from the hug I step to the side to introduce him to Lucy.
"Dad this is Lucy, and Lucy this is my dad, Hudson."
"Hi, it is nice to met you," my dad said as he stook her hand. "But may I ask why you are here?"
Lucy looked at me unsure what to say. "I thought that since you have been working so hard looking for the killers in Santa Carla. That you deserve a break; so, take a seat and I will get you both a drink." I pushed my dad down over to the chair and went to the kitchen to get them a drink.

I got two glasses and bit my wrist, filling the two glasses. I walked back in the living room, holding the two glasses. When I walked back into the room, my dad stood back up from his chair, "While I do appreciate what you are doing, I would like to get some rest. It was nice meeting you."
I pushed my dad's shoulder, pushing him him back down in the chair, "At least one drink dad. Poor Lucy brough this red wine and you don't want to be rude." I held out the cup to him along with giving the other to Lucy.
"One drink," my dad said. I took a sat down across from him as I watched my dad take a drink of the wine. He then downed the whole drink enjoying the taste and I couldn't help but smile. I then looked at Lucy and nodded my head to her.
She leaned forward and handed my dad her drink as well, he looked at her for a second before taking the drink and downing it also. I could hear my father moan at the taste of the drink and he kept his head titled back and his eyes closed enjoying the taste. I couldn't help but chuckle.
My dad snapped out of his trace confused. I stood up out of my seat Lucy following my lead. "Come on dad," I said as I took his arm leading him out the door.
"Where are we going?"
"Home," I said.
"Home?" he asked confused.
"Our new home and besides your mate is coming too," I said.
"Mate?" he asked and then he turned to look at Lucy and he stopped walking. I let go of his arm as he walked over and took Lucy's hand. I continued to walk out the house with both of them following me. We then took off in the night sky landing right outside the cave. My dad was confused beyond belief, but I didn't have time to explain as he needed to feed before sun rise.

"Did you get a human like I asked," I said to no one in particular as I entered the cave.
"Yup, she is over there," Paul said as he pointed over to the human tied up.
"Dad, dinner is severed," pointing over to the human as he walked in with Lucy.
"Scarlett what is this? Untie her!" he declared as he started to walk over to her to untie her.
"Lucy," I said. She went over behind the human as my dad was untying her. She grabbed her by the neck. "What are you doing?" My dad asked as Lucy bit the human in the neck. Blood started to pour out of her neck and my dad lost it. He killed the girl drinking all her blood.
Once he pulled away from her neck I couldn't help but smile. "Well dad I think your job is done here in Santa Carla," I laughed.
"And why is that?" he asked with a smiling wiping the blood off his face.
"Because the killers you are looking for are in this cave and you are now one too," I smiled.
"Do you mind explain to me exactly what is going on?" he asked as he stepped over the body and stood next to Lucy wrapping his arms around her.
"Well, I think you now know that you are a vampire." He nodded his head, now understanding he wasn't human anymore. "Well I am now the leader of this coven, or you can call me the head vampire, but that information doesn't not leave this cave. Only those in this cave shall know that. Is that understood?" I asked everyone. They all nodded their head understanding not to tell anyone that I am the head vampire.
"Well I plan on turning Santa Carla upside down. I want Santa Carla to truly become the murder capital of the world. Where human are to sacred to come out at night because we vampires own the night," I explained. "Where everyone knows that the night belongs to vampires."
"I only see one problem in that though," my father said.
"And what is that," I asked.
"Won't humans become a problem to come by then. If we kill them all and new ones don't move here because of the high kill rates. How are we going to have food?"
"That is where I come in," Valerie said as she entered the cave.
