I am sorry in advance a bit long chapter here.

Aiden's arms wrapped around me, and I turned to face him, sobbing. "Aiden, I should not have said it. Did you see her expression when I spoke those sentences, Aide? It was just betrayed filled in. I should not have said anything to Aiden, and now she is in pain because of it. She wouldn't let me comfort her, Aiden, and she pulled away as soon as I touched her. She walked away. She does not want me to comfort Aiden. She needs someone to be with her while she is in pain, Oh—oh my god. She is now alone, and I let her go away." I stood up quickly, wiping the tears from my eyes fiercely.

"I need to go get her Aiden; she is alone and in need of someone."

"Shh, shh Lydia, calm down," he whispered, throwing his arms around me and pulling me in for a tight hug, attempting to console me but it won't help, I need Sira.

"No, Aiden" I pulled myself from his grasp. "I need to see her."

"Lil sis, I don't believe that's a good idea right now." I glanced at him, his face telling me that being near her would break her much more. I messed up.

"But-Aiden she's-alone," I stammered.

"All we can do, Lydia, is wait for her to arrive; she needs some space right now."

"No, no she needs someone to hold her-"

"Lydia," he sighed, pecking my forehead and looked at me. "All right, you wait here, and I'll go get her." I fiercely nodded my head.

"I think you should stay here, Aiden, and let me Tanya, Jacob, and Aaron go to her." Lila said.

"But Lil-" he said, she shooked her head. "Aiden, if Sira needs someone right now then, Lydia does as well. Lydia needs you, Sira has us as a family as well, not Lydia, she has either you or Sarah as a close family member." He simply nodded.

"Noah, please locate Sira's cellphone to find out where she is." he ordered him.

"Give me 2 minutes, on that." Noah replied.

" Okay, well, uh, I should make her favorite dish, right? It's okay if she's upset and won't talk to me, at least she'll be able to eat her favorite food." I said standing up. I looked at Diana and Sarah. Both of their features had an expression that I couldn't place other than sympathy for me.

"Okay, Diana, Sarah, can you join me in the kitchen? We're going to make her favorite apple pie with cookies and cream ice cream. She loves it." Aiden caught my eye. "Aiden, she loves apple pie and will eat it. Right. She loves it when I make it then I will apologize to her." He din't reply to my question and just stared at me. I sighed closing my eyes. "She is mad at me? Will she talk to me?"

"Lydia, come here," he murmured, dragging me down onto the sofa and placing my head on his lap. "She will calm down, and when she returns, she will know you didn't mean it." I nodded, tears still running down my face.

"Got it, she's in the cemetery," Noah stated, drawing everyone's attention.

"Why is she visiting the cemetery?" Tanya wondered.

"We won't know till we go there and get her." Jack stated.

"Her parents." Jack muttered.

"What?" Sarah inquired.

"She went to see her parents," Jacob explained. She went to meet her parents after not seeing them in months.

"I broke her heart din't I ?" I questioned, sitting up on the sofa and staring at Lila.

"I'm sorry, I don't know Lydia."

"'Let's go, guys," Jack said.

"Nuh Nuh, all of you stay here, Lila, Aaron, Jacob, and I are leaving."said Jacob.

"But who will drive you all, and it's late," Diana said.

"Nothing will happen, I can drive. Let's get going, guys "Aaron said.

Lila rose up, kissed Aiden's lips, and walked away with the guys. Will she bring her back to me? Is the only question that crosses my mind.

...............

They haven't returned after one hour.

"Can you text Jacob how long it will take him to come?" I requested Steve.

"They're on their way, Lydia," he says.

Lies. It's all lies.

"Why are you and Aiden lying to me, and can you tell me if they're on their way or not?"

"Lyd—" I interrupted him. "No, Aiden, all I've heard for the past 30 minutes is they're on their way, they're coming and crap." I groaned, tears welling up in my eyes once again. Sarah approached me to embrace me, but I pushed her off.

"She-she does not want to go come back home. She does not want to see my face." I examined each one. "That's why you're all lying to me, right?" What was I thinking? Don't I always ruin the nicest thing in my life? I had broken her heart. The sound of the door opening stopped my thoughts.I sprang to my feet and went towards them.

"Sira, I am—" my words were stuck in my mouth as I observed Sira's condition. Drunk. She was wasted, holding an empty bottle of Absolute vodka in her right hand and her other arm over Aaron's shoulder, assisting her to stand.

My attention was drawn to the blood on her hand. Fresh blood. I dashed towards her, took her from Aaron, and guided her to the sofa where she could sit.

"Could someone please bring me a first-aid kit?. What happened to her, what happened to her hand?" I said this while standing up and looked at the three teenagers in my living room.

"She was drunk when we found her at her parents grave." Aaron said

"We asked her to leave with us, but she just wanted to spend some time with them. When she decided to go, she rose up but lost her balance, fell to the ground, and got badly hurt by one of the branches "Tanya said.

"How come you didn't take her to the hospital?"I questioned a bit in anger wondering why they din't call us or go to hospital.

"Here," Sarah replied, handing me the first aid package.

"I need an answer right now, guys." I stated "she wanted to see you.'" Lila muttered. "What?" I replied, unable to comprehend what she had said. "She said she wanted to see you." For a split second, I stopped taking bandages from the box.

She wanted to come back to me. Even after the fight. I shook my head and sat down near Sira on the floor. I brushed her hair off her forehead and pecked it.

"Sarah, could you bandage her hand? I'll get her water." I rose up and went into the kitchen to get a drink of water when I hear Sira say. "Ayoooo, who are you, women? Stop touching my hand. I have a girlfriend "I rushed back into the living room to see Sira sitting up on the sofa, squinting at Sarah.

"Oh Sarah, wait Sarah as in Diana girlfriend Sarah. what are you doing with my hand, listeeeeen I know, you see I know I'm hot as fuckk. Without a doubt, I am hotter than Diana." she said slurring, making everyone laugh and putting a smile on my cheek after a painful two hours.

"I meeann see I have aaaa deadlllly body, a deaddlyyy bodyyy women's would want. But I'm sorry for you—I love your bestie "She stated this while pointing her finger towards Sarah. She looked at Diana. "Handle your girlfriend cheekbones. You're not giving her any pussy, huh? "She remarked this while wiggling her brows.

Everyone in the room laughed softly. She is the light in our life and the lives of everyone else. In my own life. In my life.

I entered the living room and approaching her, handing her the glass of water I had brought for her. She just gazed at me, not moving or saying anything. My grin faded into a frown as I handed the glass to Sarah and stepped back. She rose up and walked up to Aiden, disregarding the glass of water.

"Hotstuff, is it just me or is that girl in front of me is my girlfriend?" she murmured quietly, but we all heard her.

"Sira, I am certain that hot female standing in front of you is your girlfriend," Jack stated. She grabbed a pillow and flung it at him, making us wonder why she did this.

"Don't call her hot, or I'll tell your girlfriend you're checking out my girlfriend." She said making my heart melt. Even after being drunk, she is still possessive.

Then she caught my eye, looked at me and something shifted, causing it to show on her face, and the mood became unpleasant, especially for me when I noticed her eyes glinting at me. I could tell she was thinking about our argument by the look on her face. Her eyes began to well up with tears. I approached her so she could hear my apologies for how I had acted. She shook her head as I took only two steps towards her. I came to a stop right there, knowing she still doesn't want to be near me, remorse flooding my heart and making it difficult to beat, my chest beginning to feel heavy. She moved her gaze to Aiden and hugged him tightly. Aiden grabbed her back and placed his arms over her shoulder. What she said devastated my heart even more.

"I miss my parents Aiden, I—mis-miss them so much Aiden. I want them back." Because her head was on his shoulder, her speech was muffled. However, everyone heard it. I was aware of it. Aiden patted her back, calming her down and assuring that they will always be there for her no matter what. She stepped away from him, wiped her cheeks, and looked me in the eyes. She took two steps towards me and then came to a halt.

"How do you pull it off, Lydia?" I swallowed the sob that was coming through my mouth and began crying gently in front of her since I didn't know how to answer her question.

"I mean, how do you and Aiden deal with the fact that you won't have parents for the rest of your lives? You don't get phone calls at night from them saying they'll be late from work and then surprise you the next morning. How can you not be sad knowing that all you have now are your parents' past memories and no future?"

"HOW," she shrieked, making me shudder and everyone's eyes widen at her condition.

"I'm sorry, Lydiiaa, I didn't want to scare you." She apologized going backwards far away from me.

"I think you should sleep, Sira."Aiden suggested.

"Sleeep, yessss, Goodnightttt peeps, I'll see you tomorrow morning." She dragged Aiden with her and lay down on the sofa, Aiden on the ground and his arm as her cushion.

Seeing Sira in this state makes me resentful of myself. What was I thinking by bringing up her parents?

"I miss my parents, Aiden, I really do. I miss Lydia too." was the only thing she whispered before falling asleep again.

"You may all stay here and sleep." I replied as I walked over to the sofa where Sira was sleeping and sat alongside her, clutching her other hand and resting my head on it.

"Why don't you sleep in your bedroom, Lydia?" Steve asked. "No, I want to stay here with her and you all can use my bedroom to sleep but please don't have sex on my and Sira's beds."

They all laughed and then went to sleep. Aiden went away gently pulling his arm from her head and replacing it with a pillow. He walked to wards me pecking my forehead.

"Everything will be okay, Goodnight Lil sis." he whispered and walked away leaving me and Sira alone. I am sorry Sira.

"I am right here, beside you" I whispered softly and closed my eyes.
