Not many people think the black phone and Coraline have anything to do with each other but there are some reasons why

1.Even though Coraline isn't kidnapped it's almost like she was because when she enters the select door it's like she went to someone else's house and her "other parents" tricked her trapped her and try to convince her to stay . Which is almost like a kidnapping .

Also In Coraline it seems like her parent(s) don't pay much attention just like finneys dad. Then start to pay attention in the end.

But lmk what you guys think about that theory
