Looking at the enormous trees in front of her, Xu Yue let out a satisfied smile, but suddenly, she noticed something standing at the forest entrance.

Seeing this, Beatrice once again took out her brush before putting three more strokes on her painting.

"Even better," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the fox she added to the corner of the painting.

As if it saw what Xu Yue just did, the little fox, suddenly came running out of the forest, before dexterously jumping on Xu Yue shoulder and sitting down.

"I my shoulder really that comfortable?" asked Xu Yue as she saw that the little fox was looking at the painting in front of her.

The fox did not respond, and after only a few moments, it's breathing slowed down as it fell asleep.

"Shameless and lazy, you do really go well together," said Ming Yun as he looked at the fox sleeping on Xu Yue's shoulder with some hostility.

"I'm not lazy," said Xu Yue as she looked at Ming Yun with a frown on her face, not denying the first allegation, even though Xu Yue was quite shameless, she was also very honest.

"But this little thing really got a good deal, being able to sleep on your shoulder must be very comfortable," said Ming Yun as she also came towards the fox and began petting it.

Just as Ming Yun pet the fox once, two sets of teeth suddenly clamped down on Ming Yun's hand, but even so, they could not harm her in the slightest.

Looking at the scene that was taking place on her shoulder, Xu Yue's mouth couldn't help but twitch.

For over half an hour, this scene stayed the same, neither Ming Yun nor the little fox backed down, and eventually, Xu Yue herself began feeling somewhat annoyed.

"If it doesn't want to be pet, don't pet it," said Xu Yue, causing Ming Yun's hand to withdraw.

After this, Xu Yue turned towards the little fox, causing the latter's ears, which were standing up straight, to suddenly droop downwards, even her body, which seemed prepared to jump at Ming Yun suddenly dropped downwards and lay on Xu Yue's shoulder.

"Let's go, to the next region," said Xu Yue as her painting disappeared, being replaced by the flying ship.

After this, the three travelers once again began their journey into the next region.

Looking at the countless formations that could be seen even from the edge of the region, Xu Yue couldn't help but sigh.

"The formation region really deserves it's name," mumbled Xu Yue as she passed countless small towns, some of them only having one cultivator, but every single one of them had a large number of formations in them.

Even some remote villages had formations probably set up by some wondering formation's master when they traveled along here.

Just as Xu Yue was traveling in the skies of the formation region, she suddenly stopped.

"Is there someone I know here?" mumbled Xu Yue causing both Ming Yun, and the little fox which was now sleeping on a tiny bed open their eyes.

After this, Xu Yue suddenly looked towards something of ten thousand li away.

Suddenly, the flying ship appeared above a small town in a flash, as Xu Yue precisely controlled were it would go.

After this, Xu Yue suddenly began fully examining the small town, full looking at every living being in it, also looking at some of their superficial memories.

As such, as if with a microscope, Xu Yue arrived at a small house.

Even though the house was surrounded by a bunch of formations, Xu Yue did not pay it any more attention that the other normal house, as she had seen places with even more formations, but as she sent her spiritual sense into the house, a surprised expression appeared on her face.

"These are really much stronger than the average fifth-grade formations," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the expanded space inside of the house.

Compared with the outside world, the house was several hundred times bigger on the inside, but this was not what surprised Xu Yue, rather she looked at one of the people inside.

Suddenly, a relatively distant memory appeared in Xu Yue's mind.

Back when she went to the painting region, inside one of few cities she went two, Xu Yue met a little girl, Meng Lin.

After talking with her and her grandfather, Xu Yue secretly gave her an Earth Grade flying sword as a gift, as she thought the little girl looked cute.

Looking at the peak Qi Refining Realm cultivator before her, Xu Yue couldn't help but sigh.

"I am quite old right now aren't I," mumbled Xu Yue as she watched Meng Lin experiment on what looked like an Energy Gathering formation, ignoring the other person inside of the house.

Suddenly, Xu Yue, Ming Yun and the little fox appeared at the door of Meng Lin's little house, and a moment later, Xu Yue knocked on the door.

Hearing someone knock on the door, Meng Lin couldn't help but be horrified, as her spiritual sense, which was always active couldn't feel anything.

After looking over the entrance with her spiritual sense and not seeing anything once more, Meng Lin took a deep breath before walking towards the door.

"You really have grown up a lot since I have seen you," said the person opposite of Meng Lin, causing Meng Lin to suddenly realize who the person in front of her was.

"Senior Xu Yue..." mumbled Meng Lin as she couldn't hide her shocked expression on her face.

"I see you are doing well," mumbled Xu Yue as she further examined the formations surrounding the house, even though Xu Yue didn't know much about formations other than some basic things, she could still see their complexity.

Just as Meng Lin wanted to say something else, another person emerged from the house, someone Xu Yue couldn't have posibly known at all.
