That day, Jungwon put down his phone feeling more disheartened than ever. He was scared, but at the same time relieved that she communicated with him about what was going on.
Will they ever text again? Will they ever meet or talk again? He was scared that that wouldn't be the case anymore. But then again, if she actually planned on doing anything she wouldn't have told him to wait for her.

Jungwon thought of every possibility that could be going on in her life. Every scenario and conflict.
And the longer he thought about it, the more his head hurt. That was the only thing he didn't like about knowing her through texts mostly.
Their friendship still lacked depth.
He didn't know about any people in her life. Her boss. Previous boyfriends. Or girlfriends. Crushes or any other connections. Of course, she would mention them sometimes. But it was too exhausting and would take too long to write about people that the other i look person didn't know anyway.
Would she tell him about them in person? Not necessarily. But over texts the probability was even smaller.

"She isn't replying to me anymore..." The younger let out a whine, staring at his phone with a sulk.
This left Jungwon speechless.

That's why she didn't reply to him immediately like she normally did.
"Yes way. We were texting for a while this morning, but she stopped replying." Ni-ki continued to pout, "Did I do something wrong?"
Jungwon was too worried for her to feel any type of jealousy or disbelief. He just shook his head and put on a weak smile, "She's a bit tired right now. I'm sure she will reply the moment she feels better. But she told me to greet you for her."
