《Magi : 平和 & 調和 [ Reader Insert ]》Chapter XI

I sighed heavily, looking at the sky and saw the doves soaring in the clear sky, ' I hate the fact that I had to leave them unexpectedly, ' I thought as I gave out another heavy sigh.
" I can't turn my back anymore, huh? " I mumbled underneath my breath when I saw one of the doves dive down and landed next to the railway, " Here to comfort me, Lil' birdy? " I smiled kindly as I gently gave it a groom on its head as it purrs in delight.
I chuckled lightly, glancing over my side and saw that I'm about to arrive on my destination, " What kind of people will I meet in Sindria? "
Death.
Sacrifices.
Destruction.
Betrayal.
Those are the main things that would break Lady (Y/n)'s heart which eventually came true as it happened right in front of her eyes.
As for now, Lady (Y/n) sat on the ground with her lantern staff laid next to her while being surrounded by piles of ruined buildings, ' W-why? ' She bitterly thought as she bit her bottom lip after Arba murdered Sheba and her and Solomon's trust with the other few who did the same action.
She didn't understand what went wrong, seeing them turning their backs against hers even though she treated them like they were her children. Until she snapped out from her distorted thoughts when Solomon lay his head on her lap, " It's over, isn't it, mom? "
Lady (Y/n) hummed in response as she brushed Solomon's fringe while staring down at his empty eyes, " Can I asked one final request? " He tiredly asked her.
" Anything for you, my little sunshine. "
" If you ever met Aladdin by any chance, please take care of him in our place, mom. "
" Of course, " Lady (Y/n) smiled sadly before the rukhs that came with various shade of colours, swarming around their surroundings and if you listen closely, you could almost hear the soft voices.
' It's almost the time for him to go, ' Lady (Y/n) bitterly thought as she bit her bottom lip while salty tears threatened to fall, " D-don't go, Solomon. " She begged him as he tiredly shook his head with a small smile plastered on his face, " I can't. "
" W-why? " Lady (Y/n) stuttered as her tears continued to flow, " Why does it have to be you of all people?! " She said as her whole body trembled with anger until Solomon reached his hand out and placed his hand against her cheek while giving her a tired smile.
" It's how life works, mom. "
" But, this unfair for any of us! "

ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴀ ɢᴏᴏᴅʙʏᴇ ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ʟᴀꜱᴛ ꜰᴏʀᴇᴠᴇʀ
" I-is this what you truly wish, my little Sunshine? "
" If it's for the sake of the future, " Solomon trailed off as he recalls all of the fond memories that he made with Lady (Y/n), his wife and his friends, " Then I accepted it, " he stated tiredly.

Lady (Y/n) dryly chuckles as she caresses Solomon's hand, " I-I always knew that you have a lionheart, " she stated as she felt the warmth was fading, causing her to slightly squeezing his hand, " A-and having you in my life was a blessing to me. "
" Same here, mom, " Solomon smiled, " Meeting you and the others were memorable to me. " He said as he shakily breaths, " I-I love you, mom. "
" I love you, my little sunshine, " Lady (Y/n) whispered as she leaned down and lightly kissed his forehead, " And I'm proud you. "
" I'm finally here, " I smiled to myself as I stare at the breathtaking scenery in front of me, " Let's see if I catch anything interesting. " I hummed happily, getting off from the ship after I bid my farewell towards the Captain of the ship before making my way towards the town.
I glanced over my surroundings and watched how lively the people of Sindria had lived as I could see many of the rukhs fluttering around as if as they were having fun, ' Adorable, ' I lightly chuckled as I continued my way through the town.
Until I stumbled myself in front of a peculiar stall and saw the vendor's customers were mostly ladies, " I wonder what they're selling, " I murmured underneath my breath as I walked towards the stall.

After strolling around the town while searching for an inn that still has available rooms until I stumbled upon a tall building, ' This place looks welcoming, ' I thought as I glanced over to the signboard and it read :
I held a deadpanned expression after I read the signboard, " You have to be kidding me, " I grumbled with annoyance, " Out of all the places, it has to be a brothel, " I pinched at the bridge of my nose while raking my head about the possible scenario.
Until the rukhs softly whispered through my ear, I stopped myself from rolling my eyes as I gave out a defeated groan, " Fine, " I sighed heavily.
I used the end of my staff and lightly tapped on the stone pathway, " Alwahm Alnasij, " I cast out an illusion spell before I entered the brothel.
" Good afternoon! " The owner of the brothel greeted (Y/n) as he continued, " And welcome to The Alley Way Cats, young man! " He stated with a fake optimistic tone.
(Y/n) nodded in response as she pulled out a bag of gems and dropped it in front of the owner which surprises him, " Will this be enough? " (Y/n) asked the owner with a bored tone, making him snapped out from his daze.
" Y-yes! " The owner answered as he quickly handed (Y/n) her room key, " 2nd floor, room 13, young Master. "
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow about the sudden honorifics, nevertheless, she shrugged it off before making her way upstairs to her room. Meanwhile, the owner giggled like a little girl as if he has gotten a present during Christmas.

" This must be my reward after running this place for so long! " He chirps as he runs his hand on the bag of gems, admiring the jewel stones glistening until he was startled by a loud slam on the counter, " What in the world are you doing, you useless swine?! "
The owner quickly turned his head and had his eyes widen, " O-oh, darling. " He stuttered with a nervous smile while sweating with cold sweat, " N-nothing happen, it's just clients who want to stay for the night. "
" Nothing? "
His wife gave a threatening glare which made him flinch before his wife landed on the bag of gems which ticked her off as she quickly snatched the behind him, " You greedy swine! " She growled at the owner, " Is this all you care, not your wife?! "
" N-no. "
" Lies! " His wife leans down to his face while glaring at him, " You didn't do anything but sitting here and drown yourself with money. " She hissed at him before she straightens herself and turns her back at him, " I'm going to confiscate this until you did something. "

" The room is ravishing, " (Y/n) murmured underneath her breath as she looked around her surroundings, " I wonder how they managed to get all of these, " She placed her lantern staff against the wall before walking towards the balcony.
' Since there's still daylight, I should take a stroll to get a better view about Sindria, ' she thought, glancing down from her balcony to make sure it was clear before jumping off from the balcony and head towards the forest.
As (Y/n) was walking on the gravel path while humming, she was stopped by a man with purple hair while smiling towards her, " Hello there, miss! " The man greeted her as (Y/n) stared at him with a disgusted expression, witnessing something she wishes to forget.
' He must be Yunan's King Candidate, ' she thought while rubbing her forehead, ' This is going to be a pain, ' she sighed heavily, staring at him with a blank expression, " Would you kindly introduce yourself, sir? "
" Of course! " He beamed with a smile, " I'm the famous Sinbad of the Seven Seas! " He started as he continued, " I'm sure you've heard about me that I'm the strongest and the most handsome guy and the King Of Sindria! "
" Then, why are you nude? " She pointed out while glaring at him with a menacing expression, causing Sinbad froze in fear as he frantically waves his hands, " T-that was because I was rob by someone! "
(Y/n) held a deadpanned expression before she gave out a heavy sigh, " This is unbelievable, " she mumbled underneath her breath while Sinbad laughs nervously.
" Then, why does the King Of Sindria doing here and at the same, getting rob in broad daylight? "
" I-I ran away from the Palace and decided to take a nap under a shady tree until I woke up and found out that I was rob. "
(Y/n) shooked her head as she took out the extra clothes that she brought with her and handed it to him, " You should at least cover yourself than walking around with no clothes on. " She told him as she saw Sinbad held a grateful expression.
" Thank you, miss...Uh..."
" (Y/n). "
Sinbad nodded, " Thank you, miss (Y/n). "
~ * ~
(Y/n) lightly chuckled at Sinbad, watching him savouring the food with proper eating etiquette while she, on the other, was taking a sip of her drink until she questioned Sinbad, " Why did you run away from your work? "
Sinbad's whole body went tense, " I hate working, " Sinbad laughed nervously, rubbing his nape.
" Is that how you call yourself a King? " (Y/n) questioned him as she glanced at her cup and stared her reflection, " You must know your place as King, " she started as she continued, " As the ruler of the lands, people put their trust to you and hope that you'll lead them with a brighter future. "
(Y/n) glanced up and gave him a small smile, " Don't do anything irrational that will make you regret the next time you remember. " With that said, Sinbad was speechless since no one has ever said that to him.
~ * ~
The next day, Sinbad offered (Y/n) to stay at the Palace as a way to repay her kindness and (Y/n) knew it's pointless to argue him and in the end, (Y/n) agree with Sinbad which brightens his day.
Once they both arrived at the Palace Gates, the guards denied Sinbad from entering, " H-hey, let me in! " He exclaimed as he tried to push off the guards, " You're not allowed to go inside! " The guards sternly stated.
" W-what?! I'm Sinbad! The King Of Sindria! "
" Our King doesn't wear like that! "
The comment wrecked into Sinbad's head as he crouched down in the corner and started to draw a circle repeatedly with dread. Meanwhile, (Y/n) sighed heavily about what had happened until she heard the doors from the inside of the Palace were pushed open, revealing the Eight generals.
' They must the people that Sinbad trust, ' she thought to herself as she stared the young man with freckles walked towards Sinbad who was sweating a lot, " Where have you been, Sin?! " The young man with freckles scolded him while straggling the poor Sinbad, backward and forward.
(Y/n) blinked and was amused, seeing that Sinbad's face is going to be purple that matches his hair before she noticed the other seven people were staring at her, causing her to glance over to them.
" I presume that you all want to know who am I? " She asked as she saw them nodded their head, " I'm (Y/n). It's nice to meet you all, " she smiled kindly towards.

She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers.
