《Sky: Children from The Unknown》Chapter 12

I wake up with a start from a deep curious, bitter dream. With this cold sweat, I can’t say I feel well. The world full of wonder and danger for the living, I can’t help but continues to endlessly replay in my head. Now, there, “don’t worry, it’s alright, nobody will come and hurt us anymore.” With that smile of his, I wonder how can he always be the positive one in everything?
Like the three sugar cubes that I drop and mix in my cup. This butterflies he care some much, the relieved world continues to spin. “I love butterflies, and I love you by just looking at this tiny creatures flying around the green field and flowers, we can take a trip with a big manta high to the sky!” he said to me.
When I ask, “do you hate me?” he stare at me for a second, then he pats me. He get up from his spot, his hand stretched out to reach my head. He pats me. Ayin, I wish I was like you.
I sit in an old and worn rocking floor I usually sit. With my feet tucked under me, I can’t say that I feel well. Still in the same place, same world with different time. I count every time passed by in flash. Just like in Daylight, I now in Valley, facing the twins Elder. “my my dear” one of them starting, “worrying nothing is bad” another continue. “it’s alright, nobody will come and trick us anymore” with their one eyes smile, they say.
Like the four sugar cubes that I drop and mix in my cup. This bright warm light from the sunset full of gold covered in snow white blanked, the relieved world continues to spin. “we love games, and we love you. By just looking at this clinking of golden solar around our place together. We can invite the grumpy lady to a dance!”

Their playfullness tone always bright like the sunny day. Their love and passion can rivaly the sun itself. When I ask, “do you hate me?” one of them simply snickers, the another chuckles. Sah Mekh, I wish I was like you.
Now, there- “there’s no need to worry,” she said calmly staring right in to my eyes with her sharp gaze. This time, I’m in Hidden Forest realm. “nobody will resent or curse us anymore” calm and cold is her. As her home full of what is left of her heart. Despite anything, she stay calm, keep strong for the better. But how? Stay calm in the verge of dead is hard. The trees cannot grow without it’s leaves.
Like the five sugar cubes that I drop and mix in my cup. Her heart keep crying with shell keep steeling. Trapped in endless tear, the relieved world continues to spin. “I love rain, and I love you. By just looking up to the sky full of clouds, we can hide in the middle. We can scatter weightlessly in the galaxy and jump universes”
She look up in dreamland. Aahhh she still miss it, year after year we spend on this world, will never can change where the heart belong.
“do you hate me?” she paused. Her eyes shifted back to me. She sighs with a peaceful expression and, ahh, smiles at me. What a rare sight to see. Even though I can only see it from her eyes, it’s clear as a day from this falling water. Not a surprise nor a common, just a welcoming gesture I know.
It’s been a while since my last time. I sit on a grassy field of my floor solemly stare at the flower. With this mask covering my face, I can’t say I feel better. I love this world, and I love everything. But this... this hollow feeling keep haunted me? As if the nightmares is not enough. “nobody will come,” I said in a hush tone, “nobody will hurt,” I stare intensely at the flower as if I searching some answer from it.

The Children of the Divine Limit
A realistic, psychological isekai: What pushes people to rejoice, to torture, to sacrifice, to kill? What gives some the will to survive and thrive in a new land and others the craving for dominance and exploitation? What would those who grew up without power all their lives do when given the approval and blessings of God Himself? How far will someone go to protect those close to them? How far will someone go to exact vengeance against an unjust world? How far can someone go before the abyss looks back at them? "Everything in the world is about sex — except sex. Sex is about power." - Oscar Wilde “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” - Abraham Lincoln Greed is the worst of all the deadly sins; all of human history lays out the evidence to support this thesis. Consider all of the above before reading this story: A 12th-grade high school class is sent to another world; a world of sword and magic called Omicron where other-worlders are revered as heroes given the divine blessing of the Lord God Sapiora, creator of Omicron's human race. It is currently a world at war. The humans of Omicron need these divine heroes as weapons against the Demon Emperor and the demihuman forces of the evil god Azazelin. However, two students within the class, Ajax Leonid and Shaula Seikennith, haven't been given the hero's blessing. They've been given something else, something more curious; the blood of a deity who noticed their specialness. As a result, after escaping the clutches of their summoners who tried to kill them for their lack of heroic potential, Ajax and Shaula enter the new world of Omicron with no one on their side except each other. While wading through rivers of blood, Ajax and Shaula seek a stable life, a life where they can salvage happiness. They have each other above all else. Perhaps the cost will be worth it. Perhaps not.

Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out! And I will continue to post chapters to Book 6 here first, until that tale is told! I hope you enjoy!
