A/N: Before chapter 12 starts, I wanted to briefly talk about the future of this story (no, the story will not be discontinued under any circumstances). The first act of "Old friends" is finished in about 10 chapters after that I will take some time to plan the second act so I don't have the same problems as with the first act.

Now to my question, I have started to plan a second story in the last few weeks on the side. would you like me to bring it out during the break of "Old friends"? That would not mean that the break until the second act is longer but you would have a story from me to read while I work on the new chapters. It would just be good to know if you would be interested in a second story of mine so that I can start writing it on the side.

Y/N's POV:

I'm sitting in the living room waiting for Akali and Kai'sa, they've been upstairs changing for almost 20 minutes now, how long can it take to change for a hike? at the other end of the sofa sits eve and looks at her phone but I can see that she has something to say.

"Would you please just say what you have to say?" I ask her and she immediately puts her phone away and looks at me.

"are you going to kick her out?" She asks anxiously but I quickly shush her head and she calms down again.

"If she wants to stay she can stay but then she has to get herself together." I answer calmly and to my surprise eve starts to smirk, not that eve smirking is anything special but the timing is weird

"You still like her, don't you darling?~" Ask eve, why did I know she would come up with this now? Even if the answer was yes, it would not change the fact that Ahri has a boyfriend. I don't like Ahri that way at least not anymore. the only reason to be with her would be nostalgia and that would be unfair to both of us.

"Don't start, eve, I'll go upstairs and ask if they're ready." I say while I stand up, I go upstairs and knock on Akali and Kai'sa's room. I hear them talking behind the door and after a few seconds Kai'sa opens the door and starts smiling when she realizes it's me. fuck I missed that smile so much.

"Hey Y/N" She says sweetly as she lays her head against the door frame.

"Hey I just wanted to ask if you two are ready." I say with a smile.

"yes we are ready to go" She replies as she slowly takes her head off the door frame and walks down past me. shortly after Akali also walks past me and turns to me as she walks down the stairs and start smiling too.

"Are you coming, Big boy?~" Asks Akali seductively. Where did she get this confidence all of a sudden? Shit, these two are killing me.

"on my way" I answer her. The three of us go downstairs and say goodbye to Eve before we go out and get into my car.

"Where do you want to hike?" Asks Kai'sa a few minutes after we left.

"In a national park half an hour from here. usually I go there with a friend of mine but he has no time this week." I answer while I continue to concentrate on the road.

"A friend from your work" Akali asks from behind and I just nod. After a few seconds, Akali continues to talk. "can I ask you something Y/N? why don't you ever talk about your job? since we've been living with you you've been dodging this question"

"I just don't like to talk about it. I have a very difficult and often dangerous job but I just don't want this job to control my private life." Answer I and the two become silent. Twenty minutes later we arrive and get out of the car. After walking 5 minutes we reach the entrance of the national park.

"Why does this place seem so damn familiar?" Says Akali to her myself I laugh a little and answer her.

"Nice to see that you remember. I came here with my father many times and a few times we took you with us. We climbed in the trees and played catch, Was always fun." I say while I walk away in the park. While we walk through the park we talk about the music of the girls. They got a little mad when I told them that I never listened to their single POP/STARS but they quickly calmed down after I promised them that we could listen to the song together when we got home. It's a nice feeling to just have fun with them, without any drama. I haven't had this much fun in a long time, since they left I haven't had many friends. Of course I had nick and the others from the team and I love them as if they were my brothers but with Akali and Bokkie it's just a little different. We have been walking for about an hour when we hear a voice behind us when I turn around I see a about 12 years old girl.

"e-excuse me, a-are y-you Akali and Kai'sa from K/DA?" The child asks nervously, When I look at the girl I notice that she is wearing a K/DA jacket and the same sunglasses as eve always wears. Kai'sa and Akali look at each other with a smile for a moment before they kneel down in front of the girl.

"Yeah that's us, what can we do for you kiddo?" Akali answers to the girl.

"C-can we please t-take a photo t-together?" She says, stuttering, and pulls out her phone with her shaking hand. Kai'sa answers her quickly. "With pleasure, everything for a fan."

The two get down next to the girl and Kai'sa takes the phone off the girl too take the picture. It's nice to see them with one of their fans, I don't know much about their music but I would never doubt that they deserve it. But I have to admit it also makes me a little sad to see this. I would have really liked to be there and help them achieve all this. I wonder what my life would have been like if they had had the idea to ask me to come with them but it's useless for me to think about it now, I can't change it, no one can.

After Kai'sa takes the photo she gives the girl back her phone.

"T-thank you so m-much." Says the girl as she starts to cry.

"No problem sweetie, go to your mother now we have to leave" Says Kai'sa with a smile before she hugs the girl and the girl runs happily to her mother. Akali and Kai'sa stand up again and turn to me. "Sorry Y/N"

"No problem Akali, it's nice to see you both with a fan." I answer and the two girls smile.

"good..." Akali answers, then neither of us says anything until Akali runs on on the hiking trail without warning. Kai'sa and I just look at each other in confusion before we start laughing.

"I think she wants a race" Says Kai'sa with a giggle.

"Seems so, doesn't it?" I answer and look Kai'sa in the eyes and smile. after a few seconds I run after Akali and see in the corner of my eye how Kai'sa is also running. It doesn't take long for me to catch up with Akali, I just hear her swearing as I overtake her and run on. After about a Kilometer I stop and look back, it will probably take a while until the two arrive not everyone can just sprint a Kilometer as if it were nothing. After a few minutes I see how the two run in my direction and immediately have to laugh. Shit I have to take a picture of this.

"Well, how are you rouge?" I say sacstically as the two arrive at my place Kai'sa immediately starts laughing but Akali is just out of breath.

"screw you, how do you manage to sprint this distance without even breaking a sweat?" She asks while she is catching her breath.

"In my job I have to be in perfect shape, I have to do a lot more challenging things to stay in top form for my job." I answer her.

"Okay, when are you going to tell us exactly what your job is, you can't hide something like that from us forever." Says Kai'sa and Akali nods. Ah fuck it, then I'll tell the two but I will not make a long topic out of it now.

"No you're right, I can't. The short version is I am a navy seal, after joining the military 10 years ago I worked my way up to second in command in a seal team." The two of them just look at me with wide eyes and after a few seconds Kai'sa speaks.

"Okay... That sounds dangerous." she says anxiously.

"it is definitely not risk free. anyway, Come on, let's go home." We go back to the car and make our way back. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but of course they had questions that I had to answer. After we talked about it they got over the shock but I can see that they are very worried but honestly this is something they have to live with if they want to be a part of my life. After about half an hour's drive, we arrive at my house. Immediately as I drive into my street I see a car I do not know standing in my driveway. I have a very bad feeling about this.

"you don't happen to know the car that's parked in the driveway, do you?" I ask the two girls. as soon as they look at the car, I see them both flinch. it's getting better and better.

"This is the car of sett, Ahri's boyfriend" Says Akali annoyed from the back seat. Fuck! I can't have one motherfucking day without drama in my life.
