《Out-Flirt Me - Anakin x Reader》Chapter 37- A Dark Twist

"Hi girls. Miss me?"
Auren and Ashoka stared at her with wide eyes.
"Master?" Auren asked as she crept closer.
"Yes and no," Y/n glided toward them as if she was a phantom, "Take another guess."
Now she was over their shoulders and they both jumped.
Ashoka tilted her head, "What happened?"
"I'm better now, he made me better."
"Who?" I asked and she smiled over at me.
Then she slid over so she was right in front of me. Her hand caressed my cheek, it was deathly cold. Her eyes looked up at me and I could see the pain hidden. Then she saw me staring into her eyes and she jumped back. The woman I love is in there and I will get her out.
"The Son," Her hand came off my face, "He's more powerful than any of you will ever be. He knows the secrets of the dark side."
"This isn't you, you can snap out of it!" Auren was right behind her.
"Oh but it is. I am so much stronger now," She laughed demonically, "He saved me when you couldn't."
Y/n played with a strand of Auren's hair as tears filled her eyes. She blamed herself for this and Y/n knew it. She drifted away and stood on the fountain, facing the water. The girls stood next to me with tears sliding down their cheeks. I wasn't crying, but I was closer than I had been in a while.
"He'll let me die if you don't do what he asks."
"Y/n, I'll do whatever it takes to save you. What does he want?"
She turned around and smiled, "He wants you to stay here."
I froze and the girls looked up at me. I couldn't stay here, Y/n had told me she didn't want me to. But I couldn't let her die, not here, not now, not ever. I would have to stay,
"I'll do it-"
"Master, no." Ashoka grabbed my arm with her voice barely audible.
"I have to, Snips, I can't let her die."
Auren walked up to Y/n and grabbed her left hand while Y/n judgementaly stared at her.
"This is you," She whispered as she ran her fingers over the ring, "You can snap out of it, you can come back to us."
Her pleading voice only made Y/n laugh and swipe her hand away. In the process, she threw Auren across the courtyard and into the wall.
"Auren!" Ashoka and I had yelled at the same time.
She slipped down the wall and fell to her side. Her eyes stayed closed as blood dripped from her mouth. Even though I could still sense her, I was terrified. She was in a fragile state and if something happened, she could die. If Y/n came back and knew that she killed Auren, I don't know what would happen.
Ashoka had run toward her but was stopped only a few feet away. She floated a few inches off the ground and yelled,
"Let go of me! I need to help her!"
As she kicked and struggled, Y/n drifted toward her.
"I can't let you help her, she will suffer whether you like it or not."
Ashoka's lip trembled as she stared at Y/n. Tears slid from her eyes as she cried out,
"Please come back!" Her voice shrank, "Please, please Y/n."
Even though I hadn't known Ashoka when she was younger, I knew how close Y/n and her were. I knew that when Ashoka was a youngling, Y/n would help out. All the kids loved her but she took a special liking to two little girls. Auren and Ashoka.

Now I could see what all that had meant to her. I could see the attachment both of the girls had for Y/n. The one she shared, but this different her didn't. I must've been blind not to see how close they were before. Y/n had told me stories from when they were younger but I guess it never registered. Now it did, now I could see.
Y/n's hand rested on the side of her face and something flashed behind those beautiful eyes. Then she smiled and shook her head as if dismissing the feeling.
"You can't help her, just like you can't help me."
Ashoka's voice was barley audible, "I can- I can bring you back."
Y/n shook her head again and drifted toward Auren as Ashoka fell to the ground. I stepped toward Ashoka and it felt like there were mountains on my shoulders. Another few steps and I was at her side, helping her sit back up.
"Are you alright?" I asked as I checked over her for any sign of injury.
She just sniffled and responded with a soft, "I want her back."
"I know, I do too."
I wiped a tear from her cheek and looked over to Y/n. She kneeled next to Auren, brushing a hair off her forehead. Y/n had done something to Ashoka, she was weaker now as I helped her stand up. When I went to take a step toward Y/n, a voice came from behind me.
"Do you want to save me?"
Y/n had somehow gotten behind me and I whipped around to face her. Which made Ashoka lose her balance, but I caught her at my side. I didn't have to answer, she already knew what I would say.
"Then you have to join him."
I froze. I would have to join the son if Y/n was going to leave here alive.
"Where is he?"
"So you'll do it?" She smiled and stalked toward me.
"Master," Ashoka whispered, "you know you can't."
I looked at her and I knew she was right. The real Y/n wouldn't make me do this. Turning back toward Y/n, she was only a few feet away. I clenched my jaw and she saw the change.
"Then you will be forced to kill me!" She screeched as she jumped at me with her saber.
I was forced to let Ashoka fall from my side and she stumbled a few feet away. I blocked a forceful attack from above and backed up as I deflected more attacks. Her fighting style was different, more offensive, more aggressive. She grinned evily as she kept on hitting.
I ducked under an attack before pushing back. Conversation sparked behind me, but I already knew who it was. She backed up a few steps and then charged again. Pushing our lightsaber to the side, she kicked me in the jaw and flipped backward. I fell onto my back with my lightsaber a few feet away. Sitting up, I brought it to my hand as I watched her stand on the fountain.
Her left hand was in the air summoning her lightsaber from the ground. I wasn't focused like I usually was in battle, I was distracted and Obi-Wan knew it. He walked up beside me with his saber ready and asked,
"Is that a-"
"Later, Obi-Wan!"
We both started at her left hand as her lightsaber slid into it. She turned around, still smiling and laughing.
"Two Jedi, now I have an actual challenge. Wait what is that?"

I looked over to Obi-Wan and he was holding a blue crystal like sword. He spun it around and responded,
"Oh this? This can kill the Son."
Her eyes went wide.
"No."
She jumped forward and struck Obi-Wans saber with hers. I could feel his shock and he stared at her face. She smiled larger and pushed harder. When he pushed back, she spun and sliced at me. I barely dodged as she continued to switch between the two of us.
I could hear Ashoka trying to get Auren to wake up in the back, but I had to focus. As she swiped at my head, the glass window on the wall behind us broke. And the Son and Daughter came tumbling out. Followed by the Father floating toward them.
We all fell to the floor to avoid them. Then we got up, avoiding the broken glass and I saw the Son fighting the Father. He yelled something about him being weak and pushed him back with red lightning.
Y/n smiled as she watched and Obi-Wan yelled, "Anakin, now!"
He tossed me the sword by Y/n jumped between us and caught it.
"No!" I yelled and she ran toward the Son.
He turned toward her and smiled, it was creepily similar to hers.
"Everything has transpired exactly as I planned."
The Father looked at his Daughter in their weak state, "You showed him the alter?"
Obi-Wan had helped the Daughter stand, "It was the only way." She responded.
"Give it to me, child." The Son stretched out his hand toward Y/n.
She turned her head back to me, smirking.
"Y/n, no!" I yelled but she didn't listen.
She turned back and handed it to him.
"Thank you, your usefulness has come to an end."
I froze as he put two fingers on her forehead. She fell to the ground and her lightsaber rolled from her hand. Her color drained as I yelled,
"No!"
I tried to run forward but the Son pushed me to the floor. Hitting my head, my vision went blurry as I tried to push myself up.
The Son said something to the Father and went to stab him. But the Daughter threw herself in the way, getting stabbed in the back. She fell into her Father's arms as the Son threw the sword to the floor.
"Why?" He asked as he stepped back and the thunder rumbled.
He flew upward and disappeared into the dark. I stumbled toward Y/n and rolled her over. Ashoka came over with Auren leaning on her shoulder. Y/n's stunning eyes had gone a foggy white and the black streaks spread further and further.
The Father had laid his Daughter next to Y/n and talked about the balance being broken. I just held onto Y/n, keeping my hand on the side of her face until she woke up. I looked up to the Father,
"Can you help her?"
"There is no light. No hope. The dark side will consume her." His voice was as shaky as jello.
"You must help her!" I yelled as I felt Obi-Wan's hand on my back.
"I cannot undo what is done. I'm sorry. There is no hope left."
"Yes there is! There's always hope!"
The Daughter reached up and reached over to Y/n. Then the Father walked between them and signaled me to follow. I did and kneeled in front of him, closing my eyes.
"Then let my daughter's last act be to breathe life into your friend."
I placed a hand on the daughter's forehead and then reached to Y/n. As soon as I touched her forehead, my head shot up and my vision went white.
~~Your POV~~
You woke up to a bright white light shining through your eyelids. After a few seconds, it disappeared along with the pressure on your forehead. You tried to open your eyes, but everything felt sore.
Then you felt him. You felt Anakin sitting right behind you with Ashoka and Auren and Obi-Wan. This time your eyes shot open and you tried to sit up.
"Woah, slow down Y/n." Obi-Wan placed a hand on your shoulder but you weren't looking.
Anakin had come to your side and was supporting your back while scanning your face.
Your voice was small and rough, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," he smiled, "it's really you."
Ashoka and Auren came up next to you and you smiled at them. But your smile faded when you saw their state.
"You're hurt, what happened?"
Their eyes went wide as they looked at each other. Your worry grew as they stayed silent.
"You don't remember?" Ashoka questioned, her voice weak like yours.
"No, what happened to you two?"
You leaned forward and went to wipe the blood from Aurens chin but she flinched backward.
"What did I do?"
"It wasn't you, so it doesn't matter," Auren muttered but you disagreed.
"Auren," she continued to avoid your gaze, "what did I do to you?"
After a few seconds, she looked up and you could see the pain in her eyes. She bit her lip before looking back down and speaking,
"The other you, she threw me into a wall."
You sank back into Anakin's arm behind you. You did this to her, you hurt her because you couldn't stop the Son.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Ashoka leaned toward you.
Thinking back, you responded, "The Son killing me."
You stopped but they all urged you to continue.
"I was thrown out of the ship but the Son carried me back into it. I don't remember anything until we were almost on the ship, that's when I woke up. I tried to escape but he threw me into a seat and I hit my head. I kept on trying to fight but he just kept on throwing me down with the force."
You left out a key detail in your mind, it's because you weren't strong enough.
"Eventually he got tired of me getting back up, so he created a weapon. Then he stabbed me and left. None of you could hear anything because he had used the force to keep you asleep. Right before he died I saw him come back and say that I could now be of use to him. I don't remember anything after that."
You stared at the floor not wanting to look at the people you'd hurt. Anakins hand moved up and down on your back, trying but failing to comfort you. After what felt like a lifetime, someone placed their hand on your knee. You stared at it and knew exactly who it was.
"It's alright Master, you couldn't have stopped him. You did everything you could."
When you looked up into Auren's eyes, she smiled. The blood was absent from her face and she looked perfectly healthy.
"But I hurt you nonetheless."
"It wasn't you and no one blames you. You didn't kill anyone."
You wanted to protest, tell her that you almost did. But you didn't, she had made up her mind and you were just glad she didn't hate you. So you gave her the largest smile you could manage which wasn't very big at all. Then stood up with the help of Anakin.
Obi-Wan handed you your saber and you thanked him. Then you turned toward the father and he was standing over his daughter. She was dead and you realized you weren't glowing anymore.
"War will escalate in your galaxy. As my son had turned to the dark side, the Sith have gained power. He will try to use your ship to leave this planet. You must leave before he can take it."
"What about you?" Obi-Wan inquired.
"I will do what needs to be done."
With that the Father walked away and you behavior way to the ship. It wasn't far from the castle and you walked to Anakins side. Obi-Wan and the girls walked in front of you while Anakin kept his hand on your back. You stared at your feet the whole way there.
The girls had started to walk normally and when Obi-Wan asked they said they felt better. But you didn't, you still felt guilty for what you did to them. Then you arrived at the ship in all its broken glory.
"You two go check it out and see what needs to be done." Anakin ordered the girls.
They turned back and nodded with smiles before walking into the ship. Obi-Wan leaned up against the side, watching the forest twist in the wind. You and Anakin sat on the ramp and listened to Ashoka and Auren joke around.
"You should really go lay down or something." Anakin remarked after a few seconds.
"I feel fine, I'm not the one who got hurt."
Obi-Wan scoffed, "Technically you died, twice."
You looked at him, "It was only really once," then he laughed again.
"Still, you died." Anakin chuckled with him.
"But I'm fine now. I just walked it off."
This made them laugh a bit more. You felt a bit better now, almost as if things were going back to normal.
The girls popped up form behind you and Ashoka asked, "Do you guys want the bad news or the really bad news?"
"Let's try the bad news but optimistically."
Auren chuckled, "There's two cracked shilo pins, a busted power converter, the backup vents need charging, and if the engines are fired twice it'll dump the debris."
They climbed out if the crawl and leaned against the wall.
"Can it be fixed?" Anakin questioned as he walked in.
Auren hopped back in and looked around, "Well, we can reroute the primary initiator, weld the dampening vents, and that might give us enough power to leave the atmosphere. But after that we have no guarantee she'll hold together."
"Well take the chance, it's better than staying here."
Ashoka got into the crawl with her and started working. While Anakin grabbed a folded-up speeder and took it outside.
"What are you doing?" You asked as he unfolded it.
"I'm going to see the father," You opened your mouth to speak but he stopped you, "No I'm not taking you with me. You should stay here and rest."
Obi-Wan walked onto the ship to help the girls.
"Anakin-"
"No buts," He leaned toward you and placed a quick kiss on your lips, "I love you and you better be here when I get back."
"I love you too, and I will be."
"Good."
Then he drove off into the dark forest as you walked back into the ship.
