Lycus's pov
His scream pierced the quiet forest, making the birds in the near by trees flutter away in fright. It was a blood curling scream, frightening at that, a scream coming from a man who was clearly in pain.
He deserved it, the traitor deserved it.
I hopped down from my horse as he fell from his to the ground, writhing in agony with gibberish coming from his mouth as he tried to form reasonable words.
I reached out and drew my sword out and almost immediately his wound began to heal, damn his hybrid powers! I brought the sword down again but this time he could reach out and hold it in mid air blocking the hit.
"I know you are mad Lycus." He rasped out in pure pain, "But if you could just hear me out…"
"Traitor!" I growled kicking him and bringing the sword down on his back, blood splattered all over and the pack troops cheered wanting the head of the wimpy turncoat, "Where is Nyx?!"
"I know but it's not what you think!" He yelled out. I dropped my sword and grabbed him from the ground before backing him up against a tree and for the first time I actually got a good look at him. He looked roughed up and it was definitely not from my attack. He had on cuts and bruises, slashed lips, blood shot eyes and several other injuries apart from the ones I had just inflicted, "As you can se…"
"Where is Amara?" I grunted out punching him right where the fresh sword wound was which hadn't fully healed and I was rewarded with his cries of agony.

"If you would just hear me out." He spat out blood before holding my gaze, "I am telling you the truth, please believe m…" I delivered another punch to his face as I had gotten tired of his lies and fables.
"You slime! You are working with the vampires!" I gripped his throat squeezing it hard enough to cut out his air supply but also enough for him to gasp out his lies.
"I swear by the moon goddess." He heaved, "I know nothing about their disappearance but I can help."
"You think I will fall for your tricks?" I said letting out a dry chuckle, "I will kill you before I let you fool me again." And with that I shifted into my wolf giving Spyro full control and he didn't waste time in pouncing on Andros and bringing him to the ground.
"You dare lie to me mutt?!" He snarled at him as he breathed fury right in his face, "Where is my mate and her pup?!" He barked and Andros kept on whimpering in fear.
"Please…" He pleaded but Spyro brought his paws down on the wound and dug in them causing him to yell, "I am innocent, just let me explain."
"That's enough!" Fay interrupted and Spyro threw a mean glance at her but she seemed unfazed and stood her ground, "He might actually be innocent." She pronounced.
"You offered to help Fay." Spyro snarled at her, "If this is your way of helping you can leave!"
"If you would just listen." She let out in exasperation, "I can help in knowing if he's innocent or not."
"How would you do that?!" His paws were still deep in Andros's wounds and he never stopped struggling, "Speak up before I lose my temper!"

"I can check his memories and search through his mind."
After a brief argument, we finally agreed to Fay's suggestion and so we were all presently camped within the vampires territory and without their knowledge.
Fay was tending to Andros's wounds while I sat away from the camp seething with anger as I was in deep thought.
If Andros was actually innocent then who the hell was behind this and what the hell was happening? My head ached from my constant thinking and I was hanging onto the thin thread of losing my sanity.
I do not trust the dolt! Spyro said for the umpteenth time and I had to agree with him. I didn't trust anyone anymore apart from my mother. I suddenly found everyone around me to be suspicious and even as I sat here away from the camp and I observed Willow, my suspicions of her grew grave. She looked disturbed and was always on her toes and whenever I asked what the matter was, she always gave me a 'it's nothing reply'
Let's see what we can get when Fay checks his memories and mind, I said to him, And if I find out he is lying, I swear by the moon goddess he will get the most painful death in history.
"We are ready." Fay called interrupting my talk with Spyro. I nodded at her and stood up. I walked back to the camp and went directly to where she and Andros were. He was covered in bandages although part of his wounds had healed.
I felt nothing, no sympathy, he was a traitor and I was already convinced.
"Let's get on with it so I can snap his neck on time." I grunted as I sat on the floor and Andros groaned.
"This is going to hurt." She shot him an apologetic look before moving behind him.
She placed her hands on his head and closed her eyes, immediately white light blasted from her and Andros began to writhe in pain. I watched intently wondering what she was going to come up with and after some time she let go of him breathing heavily, "No! It can't be!" She let out in disbelief before grabbing his head again and the same circle was repeated.
"He is innocent." She said letting go of him and facing me, "Lycus he is innocent and you would not believe what I found out looking through his mind and memories."
"What do you mean?" I asked frantically as my patience was thinning, "Speak up! Tell me what the fuck is going on."
"You might want to be calm for this." Fay advised as she looked at me with what seemed like pity, "And you might want to start talking." Her gaze was on him this time
"He wouldn't believe me." Andros sighed at her in frustration.
"Talk mutt before I rip your throat out!" I growled at him, i wanted to know what it was that they thought I couldn't handle!
"Calm down Lycus." Fay pleaded, "Andros please start talking."
And at Fay's words he began to speak, as he spoke I zoned out finding his words unbelievable and I wanted to yell out that it was all lies but it wasn't, the evidence was clear as day and my heart tore which each word he said, each statement he made.
They were right, I couldn't handle this, I wasn't ready for it and nothing could have prepared me for it.
